Diese Stirnseite ist bei stehend angeordnetem Kondensator und dementsprechend vertikal positioniertem Sammlerprofil die untere Stirnseite, so daß die Trocknerpatrone in einfacher Weise von unten austauschbar ist. Durch die erfindungsgemäßen Merkmale ergibt sich ein kürzerer Ein- und Ausschubweg und damit eine schnellere Montage und Demontage, so daß der Austausch der Trocknerpatrone wesentlich vereinfacht ist. Durch die Bedienung des Verschlußdeckels und der Trocknerpatrone von unten wird bei einer Montage und Demontage direkt am Kraftfahrzeug ein verbesserter Zugang geschaffen. Da die Trocknerpatrone direkt am Verschlußdeckel festgelegt ist, wird ein zusätzlicher Distanzstab nicht mehr benötigt. Dadurch, daß die Notwendigkeit des Distanzstabes entfällt, ergibt sich in dem als Behälter gestalteten Sammlerprofil ein größeres Speichervolumen, wodurch ein Füllventil, ein Drucksensor oder auch ein Schauglas anbringbar sind. Da die Trocknerpatrone lösbar am Verschlußdeckel festgelegt ist, kann bei einem Servicefall in einfacher Weise lediglich die Trocknerpatrone ausgetauscht werden, ohne daß auch der Verschlußdeckel mit ausgetauscht werden muß.
