    Claims (22)

    1. Transfer web (2), whose upper side is coated with a first releasing agent (4) and whose bottom side is coated with a second releasing agent (3), whereby the second releasing agent (3) exhibits a significantly greater peel force than the first releasing agent (4), characterized in that the first releasing agent (4) is coated with self-adhering pressure sensitive adhesive (5) in the shape of an aqueous dispersion of a pearl polymerizate for transferring the pressure sensitive adhesive onto sheets of paper and containing a silica-based agent which promotes wetting but does not impede transfer.
    2. Transfer web according to claim 1 characterized in that the dispersion contains a starch-based thickening agent.
    3. Transfer web according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the dispersion contains a wetting agent such as Lumiten.
    4. Transfer web according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the entire surface of the first releasing agent (4) is coated with the pressure sensitive adhesive (5).
    5. Transfer web according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the first releasing agent (4) is coated with the pressure sensitive adhesive (5) in lengthwise strips.
    6. Transfer web according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the first releasing agent (4) is printed with a pressure sensitive adhesive (5) in areas that lie crosswise and lengthwise.
    7. Transfer web, according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the pressure sensitive adhesive bonds permanently.
    8. Transfer web according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is wound on a roll (55).
    9. Transfer web according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that upon contact of the pressure sensitive adhesive (5) with the sheets (11...19) the transfer web is preferably wound, together with the sheets, sticking to it, for further processing.
    10. Transfer web according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, following transfer of the pressure sensitive adhesive (5) onto a sheet, the transfer web is rewound for another coating of the pressure sensitive adhesive.
    11. Process for the manufacture of a transfer web according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that its upper side is coated with a first releasing agent (4) and its bottom side with a second releasing agent (3), whereby the second releasing agent (3) exhibits a significantly greater peel force than the first releasing agent (4) and that the first releasing agent (4) is coated with self-adhering pressure sensitive adhesive in the shape of an aqueous dispersion of a pearl polymerizate for transferring the pressure sensitive adhesive onto sheets of paper and that a silica-based agent promoting the wetting but not impeding transfer is added to the first releasing agent.
    12. Process according to claim 11, characterized in that a starch-based thickening agent is added to the dispersion prior to coating.
    13. Process according to one of the claims 11 or 12, characterized in that the pressure sensitive adhesive is applied on the first releasing agent by means of an engraving cylinder, knife-over-roll or by means of slotted nozzle, centrifuge or by spraying.
    14. Process according to one of the claims 11 to 13, characterized in that the pressure sensitive adhesive is applied by screen printing or embossing:
    15. Process according to one of the claims 11 to 14, characterized in that the transfer web is dried after the coating.
    16. Process according to one of the claims 11 to 15, characterized in that the transfer web (1), coated with pressure sensitive adhesive (5), is wound on a roll (55).
    17. Process according to one of the claims 11 to 16, characterized in that, following transfer of the pressure sensitive adhesive (5) to the sheets (11. ..19), the transfer web is preferably wound, together with the sheets, sticking to it, for further processing.
    18. Process according to one of the claims 11 to 16, characterized in that, following transfer of the pressure sensitive adhesive (5) onto a sheet, the transfer web is rewound for another coating of the pressure sensitive adhesive.
    19. Device for the use of a transfer web according to one of the claims 1 to 10, characterized by a first storage device (71, 73) for the rotatable holding of a supply roll (55), comprising the transfer web (1), coated with pressure sensitive adhesive (5); by a transfer section (76) with deflecting roller (86) for the transfer web and a feed roller (88), cooperating with the deflecting roller (86); and by a second holding device (71, 75) for a roll (65) for receiving the transfer web (1); and by a feeder (72, 74) for feeding sheets, whose upper side is coated with an adhesion promoter, to the slit between the deflecting roller (86) and the feed roller (88).
    20. Device according to claim 19, characterized in that the shingled or staggered sheets are fed to the slit, whereby the leading edge (33) of a following sheet (12) lies over the preceding sheet (11).
    21. Device according to one of the claims 19 or 20, characterized in that under the contact surface (66) of a stack (62) of sheets a sheet removing device (80), is arranged in such a way that the sheets are removed one sheet at a time from the bottom of the stack at a high rate and decelerated in such a manner in the shingling or staggering device (74), which is following in the feed direction, that the sheets are shingled or staggered at a predetermined height (d).
    22. Device according to one of the claims 19 to 21, characterized in that a deflecting strip (89) is arranged in the feed direction (63) of the sheets behind or in place of the deflecting roller (86).
