- The band-changing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the band changer (2) comprises two channels (26, 27) which converge in a V-shaped manner and in which the bands (5, 6) are guided through the press-contact roller units (10, 11) into the pressure-roller unit (9).
- The band-changing apparatus as claimed in claim 6, characterized in that there is in each channel (26, 27) a rotary stop (28, 29), against which the free end of the corresponding band bears in the channel as soon as the rotary stop is pivoted into the channel.
- The band-changing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the pressure-roller unit (9) consists of a driving roller (30) and of a pressure roller (31) which can be pressed pneumatically against the driving roller (30).
- The band-changing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that there are arranged on both sides of the band changer (2), at the height of the press-contact roller units (10, 11), chambers (32, 33) through which the bands (5, 6) run, and that the surfaces of the bands are cleaned with steam, compressed air or the like in the chambers.
- The band-changing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the bands (5, 6) consist of metal, especially aluminum, or plastic and that an adhesive layer is applied to the new band (5) over the band width in a strip of a length of up to 600 mm and at a distance of 1 to 2 cm from the band start, on that band side which is brought in pressure contact with the running-off band (6) in the pressure-roller unit (9).
- The band-changing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the two unwinding stations (34, 35) are arranged on one side of the band changer (2) and in front of the band changer (2) in the band running direction.
- The band-changing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that each of the unwinding stations (3, 4; 34, 35) is equipped as a mandrel unwinding station with a clamping mandrel which is free on one side and onto which the band roll (7 or 8) is pushed.
- The band-changing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the band rolls (7, 8) are suspended on both sides in the unwinding stations (36, 37).
