Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kühlschrankeinlegeboden, insbesondere aus Glas oder Glaskeramik, der gewölbt ist und dessen Wölbung derart ist, daß das Volumen über seiner Fläche, darstellbar durch das Doppelintegral ∫[0 - y] (∫[0 - x] (f(x,y) dx dy)), wenigstens 100 cm<3> beträgt und daß er, ausgehend vom Scheitelpunkt der Wölbung, in alle Richtungen eine positive Steigung, darstellbar durch ∂r/∂θ > 0, aufweist. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft Kühlschrankeinlegeböden, insbesondere aus Glas oder Glaskeramik.
Kühlschrankeinlegeböden sind in der Regel als Roste oder als durchsichtige Scheiben geformt, wobei letztere den Vorteil haben, daß der Inhalt einen sichereren Stand hat und daß verschüttetes festes oder flüssiges Gut nicht automatisch auch tiefer liegende Böden beschmutzt. Auf einem ebenen Einlegeboden der letztgenannten Art kann sich eine verschüttete Flüssigkeit über die gesamte Fläche ausbreiten, bevor sie an den Rändern des Bodens überläuft und auf die nächsttiefere Fläche tropft. Um ein Überlaufvolumen, also ein Auffangvolumen, bevor Flüssigkeit überläuft, zu schaffen, ist häufig ein auch als Kantenschutz dienender, den Scheibenrand rundum umfassender Rahmen über die Stirnfläche des Randes herausragend ausgebildet. Eine solche Anordnung kann beispielsweise durch Umspritzen mit Kunststoff realisiert werden.
Es ist Aufgabe der Erfindung, einen Kühlschrankeinlegeboden mit Überlaufvolumen zu finden, für das keine umlaufenden Rahmenkonstruktionen o.ä. benötigt werden.
Die Aufgabe wird durch den im Patentanspruch 1 beschriebenen Kühlschrankeinlegeboden gelöst.
Der Einlegeboden kann aus beliebigem geeigneten, im allgemeinen transparenten Material bestehen. Bevorzugt ist er aus Glas, welches vorzugsweise vorgespannt wird, oder aus Glaskeramik. Die Vorteile von Glas- oder Glaskeramikscheiben als Kühlschrankeinlegeböden sind hinlänglich bekannt. Weiterhin ist die Formgebung bei diesen Materialien durch einfache, ebenfalls bekannte Methoden möglich.
Die Erfindung ist prinzipiell nicht auf Scheiben einer bestimmten Größe beschränkt. Jedoch sind für die Verwendung als Kühlschrankeinlegeböden, bestimmte Größenordnungen vorgegeben. Für andere Verwendungen solcher gewölbten Scheiben, beispielsweise als Einlegeböden der Hausbar oder als Tischplatten, können auch kleinere oder größere Scheiben sinnvoll sein. Für Kühlschrankeinlegeböden gängig sind z.B. rechteckige 3 mm - 4 mm dünne Scheiben mit Maßen von 300 mm x 400 mm bis 500 mm x 700 mm. Die Erfindung ist auch nicht auf Scheiben einer bestimmten Form beschränkt. Sicherlich sind

rechteckige" Scheiben, d. h. Scheiben mit rechteckiger Projektion, üblich, genauso gut könnten aber auch beispielsweise, wenn gewünscht, halbrunde oder runde gewölbte Scheiben (beispielsweise Kugelsegmentteile) verwendet werden.
Die an sich beliebige Form der Scheibe läßt sich ausreichend genau durch folgendes Polynom f(x,y) beschreiben: f(x,y) = a1 + a2y + a3y2 + a4x + ... + a8x2y + a9x2y2 Hierbei stellen a1 ... a9 Koeffizienten dar, die mit Hilfe von ausgewählten Punkten über eine Regression leicht bestimmbar sind.
Das Volumen über der Fläche, das Überlaufvolumen", ist beschreibbar durch das Doppelintegral 0 y 0 x f(x,y) dx dy. Es soll erfindungsgemäß wenigstens 100 cm3 betragen. Weiterhin soll die Steigung, ausgehend vom Scheitelpunkt der Wölbung (mit einer Steigung 0), in alle Richtungen positiv sein. Zur mathematischen Beschreibung dieses Sachverhalts muß obige Funktion in kartesischen Koordinaten in eine Polarkoordinaten-Funktion umgewandelt werden, was mit Computer-Programmen leicht durchführbar ist. Die Steigung wird dann durch ∂r/∂ > 0 beschrieben, wobei  der die Abweichung von der Senkrechten beschreibende Winkel ist.
Mit einem Überlaufvolumen von wenigstens 100 cm3 kann nun der verschüttete Inhalt kleinerer Behälter wie beispielsweise Milchkännchen komplett vom Einlegeboden aufgefangen werden, so daß in tieferen Fächern oder auf tieferen Böden liegende Lebensmittel nicht verschmutzt werden. Die dafür nötige Wölbung der Scheibe hängt von der Fläche der Scheibe ab.
Durch die, ausgehend vom Scheitelpunkt, stets positive Steigung wird gewährleistet, daß das auslaufende Gut das zur Verfügung stehende Volumen auch vollständig nutzen kann. Eine gewisse Mindeststeigung ermöglicht, daß das gewünschte Mindestvolumen mit möglichst geringen Maximalsteigungen erzielt wird. Die Steigung sollte jedoch auch nicht zu groß sein, um einen sicheren Stand des Kühlschrankinhalts auf dem Boden zu gewährleisten.
Eine praktikable Angabe einer Gesamtneigung" besteht darin, den Abstand h zwischen dem Scheitelpunkt der Wölbung und der Ebene, die durch die Eckpunkte der Scheibe aufgespannt wird, zu bestimmen und ins Verhältnis zur Länge der sich durch Verbindung zweier diagonal gegenüberliegenden Eckpunkte ergebenden Geraden (Diagonale D) zu setzen. Bei üblichen Kühlschränken werden die beiden Diagonalen gleich lang sein.
Vorzugsweise soll dieser Abstand h wenigsten 0,45 % der Diagonale D betragen (h ≥ 0,0045 * D). Bei großen Scheiben wird diese Bedingung zusätzlich zum Überlaufvolumen von 100 cm3 eine einschränkende sein, während bei kleinen Scheiben dieses Überlaufvolumen sowieso erst bei stärkeren Neigungen erreicht wird.
Vorzugsweise soll der Abstand h 0,9 % der Diagonalen D (h ≤ 0,009 * D) nicht überschreiten. Bei solchen geringen Schrägungen ist die Biegung der Kanten so gering, daß die Auflage der Scheibe auf Halterungen problemlos genauso wie bei ebenen Scheiben realisiert werden kann. Außerdem wäre bei zu starker Wölbung der Scheibe ein sicherer Stand des Inhalts nicht mehr gewährleistet.
Bei stark gewölbten Scheiben könnten die Krümmungen der Kanten mit den, wie oben beschrieben, bei ebenen Platten auch zur Schaffung eines Überlaufvolumens häufig vorhandenen Umspritzungen o.ä. eingeebnet werden, wodurch ein besonders großes Überlaufvolumen geschaffen würde.
Der erfindungsgemaße gewölbte Kühlschrankeinlegeboden kann einen Kugeloberflächenausschnitt darstellen. Es sind jedoch auch beliebige andere, möglicherweise nur leicht von der Kugelsymmetrie" abweichende Geometrien denkbar, beispielsweise abgeflachte Kugeloberflächen oder wannenförmige Oberflächen. Solche Geometrien sind leicht realisierbar.
Für den Spezialfall des Kugeloberflächenausschnitts kann mit dem schon definierten Abstand h zwischen dem Scheitelpunkt der Wölbung und der Ebene, die durch die Eckpunkte der Scheibe aufgespannt wird, leicht das Überlaufvolumen V mit V = 1/3 s * h berechnet werden, wobei s die Fläche der Scheibe darstellt. Es wird deutlich, daß zur Erreichung des gewünschten Volumens von 100 cm3 ein Mindestabstand h erforderlich ist, der mit der Fläche s variiert. Auch für Böden, die der Form eines Kugeloberflächenausschnitts nur annähernd entsprechend, ist die genannte Formel als Abschätzung von V durchaus ausreichend.
Um einen erfindungsgemäß gewölbten Kühlschrankeinlegeboden, speziell aus Glas, zu produzieren, können klassische Biegetechniken angewendet werden.
Eine mögliche Technik ist das Schwerkraftsenken. Dabei wird die Glasscheibe mit einem Horizontalförderer in einen Biegeofen gebracht. Danach wird sie mit einem Positionsstempel mittels Pneumatik positioniert. Das untere Element (in der Regel ein Profilrahmen) wird mittels eines Rollwagens in die Biegestation eingeführt. Die Glasscheibe wird auf dieses Element aufgelegt und bekommt seine endgültige Form bei ca. 620 °C bis 660 °C, natürlich abhängig von der Glaszusammensetzung.
Eine andere mögliche Technik sind Preßverformungen.
Die Erfindung soll anhand von Ausführungsbeispielen, die den Spezialfall des Kugeloberflächenausschnittes betreffen, und einer Abbildung verdeutlicht werden:
Figur 1 in der Abbildung zeigt nicht maßstabgerecht eine erfindungsgemäße gewölbte Glasscheibe in der Form eines Kugeloberflächenausschnittes, wobei die Wölbung überzeichnet ist. Der Abstand h vom Scheitelpunkt der Wölbung (○) zur von den Eckpunkten der Scheibe aufgespannten Ebene ist ebenso eingezeichnet wie die gleich langen Diagonalen D, über deren Länge der bevorzugte Mindestabstand h definiert ist.
Eine ebene Glasscheibe aus Kalk-Natron-Glas mit den Abmessungen 400 mm x 300 mm x 4 mm wird mit dem Verfahren des Schwerkraftsenkens zu einer gewölbten Glasscheibe verformt, bei der die Höhe h 2,55 mm beträgt. Das nach der obigen Formel für Kugeloberflächenausschnitte berechnete Überlaufvolumen V beträgt 102 cm3.
Die nötigen Wölbungen sind so gering, daß für die Abschätzung von V bzw. h mittels s sowie für die Bestimmung von h über D jeweils die Abmessungen a x b der ursprünglichen ebenen Scheibe verwendet werden können.
Bei einer Scheibe mit den Abmessungen 400 mm x 400 mm beträgt mit der Diagonalen D von 566 mm der bevorzugte Mindestabstand h 2,55 mm, was einem Überlaufvolumen V von 136 cm3 entspricht.
Bei einer Scheibe mit den Abmessungen 400 mm x 500 mm beträgt mit der Diagonalen D von 640 mm der bevorzugte Mindestabstand h 2,88 mm, was einem Überlaufvolumen V von 192 cm3 entspricht.
Bei einer Scheibe mit den Abmessungen 300 mm x 420 mm wird das Mindestüberlaufvolumen V von 100 cm3 bei einem Abstand h von 2,38 mm erreicht.
Die Erfindung stellt auf verblüffend einfache Weise, ohne zusätzliche Konstruktionen, eine Scheibe, insbesondere aus Glas oder Glaskeramik, zur Verfügung, die ein genügend großes Auffangvolumen aufweist, was sie hervorragend geeignet sein läßt für die Verwendung als Kühlschrankeinlegeboden.

Claims (4)

  1. Kühlschrankeinlegeboden, insbesondere aus Glas oder Glaskeramik,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß er gewölbt ist und daß seine Wölbung derart ist,
    daß das Volumen über seiner Fläche, darstellbar durch das Doppelintegral 0 y 0 x f(x,y) dx dy, wenigstens 100 cm3 beträgt
    und daß er, ausgehend vom Scheitelpunkt der Wölbung, in alle Richtungen eine positive Steigung, darstellbar durch ∂r/∂ > 0, aufweist.
  2. Kühlschrankeinlegeboden, insbesondere aus Glas oder Glaskeramik, nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß der Abstand h zwischen dem Scheitelpunkt der Wölbung und der Ebene, die durch die Eckpunkte der Scheibe aufgespannt wird, wenigstens 0,45 % der Länge der durch Verbindung zweier diagonal gegenüberliegenden Eckpunkte sich ergebenden, ggf. der längeren, Geraden (Diagonale D) beträgt.
  3. Kühlschrankeinlegeboden, insbesondere aus Glas oder Glaskeramik, nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß der Abstand h höchstens 0,9 % der Länge der Diagonalen D beträgt.
  4. Kühlschrankeinlegeboden, insbesondere aus Glas oder Glaskeramik, nach wenigstens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß er die Form eines Kugeloberflächenausschnittes aufweist.
