Definitions

  • the invention relates to an arrangement for electrical connection two circuit parts with the in the preamble of the claim 1 specified characteristics.
  • Such a control unit consists of a Housing in which an electronic circuit is arranged is that with at least one connector part fixed to the housing is electrically connected.
  • 1 is a known one Control unit shown.
  • the housing of the control unit 1 comprises a bottom part which can be closed with a cover part 7 8.
  • the bottom part 8 is fastened to a support 5 in the engine compartment.
  • a plug part 10 fixed on the cover part 7 connects the control unit 1 via a wiring harness 11 to the engine.
  • Another connector part 12 is with a wire harness 13 provided that leads to the vehicle interior.
  • the electronic circuit of the control unit 1 is arranged on a circuit part 2, which can be a circuit board or a hybrid.
  • the Circuit part 2 is fixed on the cover part 7 and over Bond wires electrically connected to the connector parts 10 and 12.
  • control unit functions optimally as a function of the respective framework conditions
  • an electronic computer for example a PC
  • EK emulator probe head
  • the parameters of the control program of the first circuit part can be adapted to the running engine.
  • 2 shows an arrangement corresponding to the prior art for carrying out the parameter adjustment of the control device.
  • the difficulty in carrying out the parameter adjustment can be seen in particular in the fact that the second circuit part 3 has to be connected to the first circuit part 2 assigned to the control unit via a number of approximately one hundred individual lines 16. Since the housing of the control unit 1 is very small and compact in order to be able to be arranged as space-saving as possible in the engine compartment, the first circuit part 2, as shown in FIG. 2, must be removed from the control unit 1 in the known arrangement. The control unit housing then only serves as a plug adapter. Instead of the circuit part 2, a circuit board 20 is inserted into the housing, which connects the connector parts 10, 12 of the control device to a cable harness 15 via conductor tracks.
  • the wiring harness 15 is led out of the control unit and connected in the vehicle interior to the first circuit part 2, which in turn is connected to the second circuit part 3 via a plurality of line connections 16.
  • the electronic circuit of the second circuit part 3 is connected to an electronic computer 4 via a further wire harness 17.
  • the disadvantage is that the whole arrangement is extremely difficult to handle. After the second circuit part 3 has been disconnected, the control device 1 can no longer be used as a series device. This is only possible after the circuit board 20 has been removed and the first circuit part 2 has been reinstalled in the control unit housing.
  • DE-A-3 917 979 discloses an arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the arrangement according to the invention with the characterizing part of the claim 1 has the advantage that the first circuit part to adapt the control program not from the Control unit housing must be removed and the second Circuit part detachably within the control unit housing the first circuit part is connectable.
  • This can do that second circuit part advantageous with only a few simple Handles can be installed in the control unit and after the Adjusting the parameters of the control unit is just as easy be removed from the control unit.
  • the control unit remains then continue to be used as a series device.
  • the electrical Connections between the circuit parts are made by the second circuit part arranged resilient contact elements manufactured that releasably with on the first circuit part arranged contact surfaces electrically connectable are.
  • the arrangement of the contact surfaces on the first circuit part only slight changes in the conductor pattern required. Since the arrangement according to the invention has a low height, shorten advantageously the signal paths between the first and second circuit part while maintaining reliability of the connection Vibration stresses.
  • the invention Arrangement much more compact and easier to handle than the previously known solutions.
  • resilient contact elements comprise a ball of wire and in one on the second circuit part bracket with axial play are resiliently clamped.
  • Ball of wire is even with extreme shaking loads or Alternating temperature loads, e.g. in the engine compartment one Motor vehicles can experience high reliability electrical connections ensured because of the accidental Winding structure of the wires inside the wire ball a quasi-resonance-free spring element results.
  • the installation of the second circuit part is facilitated that the first circuit part on the cover part of the Control unit housing is applied and the second circuit part via spacers on the first circuit part is releasably attached.
  • the spacers are used advantageously the mechanical attachment of the second circuit part and at the same time the adjustment and alignment of the contact elements with respect to the contact surfaces of the first circuit part.
  • the bottom part of the control unit housing can simply be attached to the different height of the control unit with and without second circuit part to be adjusted. It is advantageous the second circuit part via with the first circuit part screw-on spacers on the first circuit part to arrange.
  • the height of the arrangement can be achieved by using a Hybrid circuit for the second circuit part further downsize, so that the arrangement even in very small control unit housings can be used.
  • Fig. 3 shows an embodiment of the invention Connection arrangement with a control unit 1, the housing from a base part 8 and a cover part connectable to it 7 exists.
  • the housing of control unit 1 is in the engine compartment of a motor vehicle on a carrier part 5 Screws not shown attached.
  • the cover part 7 has a flat surface on which a first circuit part 2 is arranged.
  • On the circuit part 2 is an electronic Control circuit for engine control of the motor vehicle arranged.
  • this is second circuit part 2 is a hybrid circuit that on the Cover part 7 is glued on.
  • the circuit part 2 has a grid at one edge of contact areas 31 on, with the conductor tracks of the circuit part are connected and as a contact device for the serve electrical connection of a second circuit part are.
  • the procedure for adapting the motor is as follows.
  • the Control unit is detached from carrier 5 and cover part 7 is removed from the bottom part 8.
  • a second Circuit part 3 a so-called emulator probe, in the Control unit 1 installed.
  • the electronic circuit of the second circuit part 3 forms an interface to one electronic computer (PC) in the vehicle interior and is is connected to the computer 4 via a cable harness 17.
  • PC electronic computer
  • the parameters of the control circuit of the first Circuit part 2 from the vehicle interior to the current Motor can be adjusted. This requires about a hundred individuals Contacts between the conductor tracks of the second circuit part 3 and the contact surfaces 31 of the first circuit part 2 are manufactured.
  • resilient contact elements 30 are provided which in a grid corresponding to the contact areas 31 are arranged.
  • the contact elements 30 each have Ball of wire on that in a holder 32 with axial play is resiliently clamped.
  • holder 32 e.g. a cuboid Plastic carrier can be provided on a Side of the second circuit part 3 protrudes perpendicularly from this.
  • Fig. 4 shows a section of a possible Embodiment of the plastic carrier 32 with two shown Contact elements.
  • Drilled holes introduced by the circuit part 3 facing Side up to that facing away from the circuit part 3 Are carried out by the carrier 32 and in each of which a wire ball 30 with axial play resiliently clamped is arranged.
  • Each wire ball 30 is at that Circuit part 3 facing side with a conductor track 33 connected and on the side facing the circuit part 2 provided with a contact plunger 34.
  • the distance is through on the second Circuit part attached bolt-like spacers 35 and bridges the plastic carrier 32.
  • the spacers 35 stand perpendicularly from the second circuit part and serve for mechanical attachment of the second circuit part 3 and at the same time for guiding and aligning the contact elements 30, so that the plunger 34 of the contact elements during assembly 30 the individual contact surfaces 31, as in FIG. 4 shown, contact in the middle.
  • the second Circuit part 3 repellent ends of the four spacers provided 35 can be screwed to the first circuit part 2.
  • the distance of the facing surfaces from the first and second circuit part is in that shown here Example only 8 mm. If necessary, with built-in second circuit part 3, the cover part 7 on another Bottom part 8 can be attached to the housing to the overall height the parts of the circuit opposite each other at a distance adapt.
