Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Steuer- und Regelgeräts für einen Brenner gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
Solche Steuer- und Regelgeräte werden beispielsweise zur Inbetriebsetzung und zur Steuerung des Normalbetriebs von gasgefeuerten Heizungseinrichtungen verwendet. Derartige Heizungseinrichtungen sind in verschiedenen Bauformen wie Heizkessel und Wandthermen bekannt. Bei Heizkesseln existieren solche mit fester Leistung, die im EIN-AUS-Betrieb betrieben werden, aber auch solche mit variabler Leistung, bei denen die Menge des zur Verbrennung gelangenden Gases variiert wird. Dabei existieren Gebläsebrenner, denen die zur Verbrennung benötigte Luft mittels eines Gebläses zugeführt wird, und atmosphärische Brenner, bei denen ein solches Gebläse fehlt.
Aus der Firmendruckschrift 7433 der Firma Landis & Gyr ist der Gasfeuerungsautomat LFM1 bekannt, der gasgefeuerte Heizeinrichtungen, nämlich 1- oder 2-stufige Gasbrenner mit oder ohne Gebläse, zu steuern in der Lage ist. Wird dem Gasbrenner die zur Verbrennung nötige Luft mittels eines Gebläses zugeführt, so wird das Gebläse beim Brennerbetrieb immer mit einer unveränderlichen festen Drehzahl betrieben, unabhängig davon, ob im Falle eines 2-stufigen Brenners die erste oder die zweite Leistungsstufe wirksam ist. Die Drehzahl ist dabei so gewählt, dass beim Betrieb der zweiten Leistungsstufe ein geringer Luftüberschuss vorhanden ist. Das führt dazu, dass beim Betrieb der ersten Leistungsstufe ein sehr bedeutender Luftüberschuss auftritt. Der Nachteil, dass ein sehr hoher, zur Verbrennung des Gases nicht nötiger Luftanteil jeweils mit erhitzt werden muss, wird seit langer Zeit billigend in Kauf genommen.
Aus der EP-A-0 612 960 ist ein Steuer- und Regelgerät für einen Brenner bekannt, bei dem bei der Inbetriebsetzung des Luftgebläses dessen Drehzahl mit einer vorbestimmten Rate erhöht wird, bis der Drucksensor angibt, ob der geförderte Volumenstrom ausreichend ist oder nicht. Falls nicht, wird der Volumenstrom stetig erhöht, bis der Drucksensor angibt, das der Volumenstrom ausreichend ist.
Aus der EP-A-0 073 717 ist eine mikroprozessorgesteuerte Steuer- und Regeleinrichtung für den Betrieb eines gasgefeuerten Heizgerätes bekannt, bei dem im Abgasstrom ein Gebläse vorhanden ist. Eine Gemischregelung findet dabei nicht statt.
Aus der EP-A-0 614 046 ist eine Steuer- und Regeleinrichtung für den Betrieb eines Gasgebläsebrenners bekannt, bei der die Drehzahl eines Gebläses für die Luftzufuhr stufenlos regelbar ist. Mittels eines zusätzlichen Druckreglers wird dabei eine der tatsächlichen Luftzufuhr angepasste Zufuhr des Verbrennungsgases erreicht. Auf diese Weise soll für alle Laststufen, also für den ganzen Regelbereich, ein optimales Gas-Luft-Verhältnis erreicht werden.
Im Zusammenhang mit derartigen Heizgeräten besteht aber das Problem, dass Länge und Gestalt des an das Heizgerät anschliessenden Abgaskamins sehr unterschiedlich sein können. Daraus folgt ein unterschiedlicher Strömungswiderstand. Wegen dieses Umstands besteht kein eindeutiger und immer geltender Zusammenhang zwischen der Drehzahl des Gebläses, dem dadurch erreichten Druck und dem Volumenstrom. Folglich kann das ideale Gas-Luft-Verhältnis nicht garantiert werden.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein gattungsgemässes Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Steuer- und Regelgeräts für einen Brenner so auszu gestalten, dass es sich automatisch an den unterschiedlichen Strömungswiderstand des Abgaskamins anpasst.
Die genannte Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss durch die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen der Erfindung ergeben sich aus den abhängigen Ansprüchen. Nachfolgend wird ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert.

Die Fig. 1 zeigt ein Steuer- und Regelgerät 1 für einen Brenner 2, dem ein Brennstoffventil 3 und ein Luftgebläse 4 zugeordnet sind. Auf einen Eingang des Steuer- und Regelgerätes 1 wirkt ein externer Heizkreisregler 5 in der Weise, dass der Heizkreisregler 5 dem Steuer- und Regelgerät 1 die zur Deckung des Wärmebedarfs erforderliche Brennerleistung mitteilt. In Abhängigkeit von diesem Wärmebedarfssignal steuert das Steuer- und Regelgerät 1 das stufenlos verstellbare Brennstoffventil 3 an, mit dem der durch eine Brennstoffleitung 6 geförderte Brennstoff der Brennkammer zugeführt wird. Die Grösse des Wärmebedarfssignals bestimmt also den Öffnungsgrad des Brennstoffventils 3.
Das Steuer- und Regelgerät 1 beeinflusst auch das Luftgebläse 4. Das Luftgebläse 4 wird im Normalbetrieb in wenigstens zwei Laststufen Lx angesteuert. Bei zwei Laststufen Lx, die z.B. mit "Teillast" und "Volllast" bezeichnet werden, läuft das Luftgebläse unterhalb einer vorbestimmten mittleren Last, die einem bestimmten Öffnungsgrad des Brennstoffventils 3 entspricht, mit einer ersten festen Drehzahl N(Lx = "Teillast"), während es oberhalb dieses bestimmten Öffnungsgrades mit einer zweiten festen Drehzahl N(Lx = "Volllast") betrieben wird. Die Drehzahlen N(Lx = "Teillast") und N(Lx = "Volllast") werden gemäss der Erfindung bei der ersten Inbetriebssetzung des Brenners ermittelt und bei nachfolgenden Inbetriebsetzungen überprüft, um in jeder Laststufe Lx einen an den Strömungswiderstand des Abgaskamins angepassten Luftvolumenstrom zu befördern.
Bei der erstmaligen Inbetriebsetzung des Brenners 2 steuert das Steuer- und Regelgerät 1 das Luftgebläse 4 mit einer vorgegebenen Drehzahl an, vorzugsweise mit der anhand der Fig. 2 später definierten Drehzahl Nmin(LS). Ein Luftdruckwächter 7 meldet über eine Leitung 8 an das Steuer- und Regelgerät 1, ob der geförderte Luftvolumenstrom einen vorbestimmten Luftdruck zu erzeugen vermag oder nicht. Das Steuer- und Regelgerät 1 erhöht nun die Drehzahl in diskreten Schritten bis der Luftdruckwächter 7 meldet, dass der geförderte Luftvolumenstrom ausreichend ist. Bevorzugt wird das Luftgebläse 4 mit einem pulsweitenmodulierten Signal angesteuert, wobei die Pulsweite des Signals proportional zur gewünschten Drehzahl ist. Nachdem auf diese Weise die minimale Drehzahl N(LS) ermittelt wurde, bei der der Luftdruckwächter 7 anspricht, berechnet das Steuer- und Regelgerät 1 die für die anderen Laststufen Lx optimalen Drehzahlen N(Lx).
Die Laststufe, bei der der Luftdruckwächter 7 anspricht, wird im folgenden als Laststufe LS bezeichnet.
Die weitere Inbetriebsetzung des Brenners 2 erfolgt nun, je nach Brennertyp, ebenfalls in der Laststufe LS, oder in der Laststufe "Teillast" oder in einer weiteren speziellen, mit "Zündlast" bezeichneten Laststufe.
Die Fig. 2 zeigt den in Funktion der Drehzahl N des Luftgebläses 4 geförderten Luftvolumenstrom für drei verschiedene Abgaswege. Auf der Ordinatenachse ist der geförderte Luftvolumenstrom V angegeben. Ebenfalls angegeben sind die Laststufen L1 = "Teillast", LS und L2= "Volllast". Die Kennlinie 9 entspricht dem Fall des im Minimum zu erwartenden Widerstandes des Abgaskamins, die Kennlinie 10 entspricht dem Fall des im Maximum zu erwartenden Widerstandes des Abgaskamins. Aus den Kennlinien 9 und 10 ist ersichtlich, dass mit zunehmendem Widerstand des Abgasweges die zur Erzielung eines bestimmten Luftvolumenstromes V erforderliche Drehzahl N zunimmt. Die Kennlinie 11 entspricht dem aktuellen Abgasweg. Sie ist eine unbekannte Grösse und bei der ersten Inbetriebsetzung des Brenners 2 zu ermitteln und bei nachfolgenden Inbetriebsetzungen zu überprüfen. Es sind also die auf der Kennlinie 11 liegenden Punkte P(Lx) zu ermitteln, denen die den Laststufen Lx, im Beispiel den Laststufen "Teillast" und "Volllast", entsprechenden Drehzahlen N(Lx) entnehmbar sind.
Bei einem ersten Ausführungsbeispiel wird angenommen, dass die Kennlinien 9 - 11 annähernd Geraden sind. Im Steuer- und Regelgerät 1 ist deshalb für jede Laststufe Lx die auf der Kennlinie 9 liegende Drehzahl Nmin(Lx) und die auf der Kennlinie 10 liegende Drehzahl Nmax(Lx) gespeichert oder sie ist mittels einer die Kennlinie 9 bzw. 10 darstellenden Funktion berechenbar. Ist die der Laststufe LS entsprechende Drehzahl NLS gemäss dem oben beschriebenen Verfahren ermittelt worden, dann können die auf der Kennlinie 11 liegenden Drehzahlen N(Lx) für die anderen Laststufen Lx gemäss der folgenden Formel berechnet werden: N(Lx) = NLS - N min(Ls) N max(LS) - N min(LS) * (N max(Lx)-N min(Lx))+N min(Lx)
Anstelle der geraden Kennlinien 9, 10 und 11 können auch gekrümmte Kennlinien vorgesehen werden. Die obige Formel ist dann weiterhin anwendbar, es könnte aber auch nötig sein, sie entsprechend dem gekrümmten Verlauf der Kennlinien 9, 10 und 11 zu modifizieren.
Bei nachfolgenden Inbetriebsetzungen steuert das Steuer- und Regelgerät 1 das Luftgebläse 4 mit der aus der vorhergehenden Inbetriebsetzung bekannten Drehzahl NLS an und überprüft, ob der Luftdruckwächter 7 meldet, dass der Luftvolumenstrom ausreichend ist. Falls der geförderte Luftvolumenstrom nicht ausreichend ist, werden wie bei der erstmaligen Inbetriebsetzung die korrekte Drehzahl NLS ermittelt und anschliessend die Drehzahlen N(Lx) neu berechnet.
Das Steuer- und Regelgerät 1 weist weiter einen Speicher auf, in dem es die Anzahl m der aufeinanderfolgenden Inbetriebsetzungen speichert, bei denen die Drehzahl NLS nicht erhöht werden musste. Übersteigt die Zahl m einen vorbestimmten Wert m0, dann reduziert das Steuer- und Regelgerät 1 die Drehzahl NLS um einen vorbestimmten Wert und setzt den Speicherinhalt wieder zurück. Falls eine Abfrage des Luftdruckwächters 7 ergibt, dass der geförderte Luftvolumenstrom noch immer ausreichend ist, dann werden auch die Werte N(Lx) neu berechnet. Falls der geförderte Luftvolumenstrom nach der Reduzierung der Drehzahl NLS jedoch nicht mehr ausreichend ist, wird die Drehzahl NLS wieder auf den alten Wert gesetzt.
Bei pulsweitenmodulierter Ansteuerung des Luftgebläses 4 erfolgt die Erhöhung der Drehzahl NLS in der Laststufe LS bevorzugt in Schritten von 0.8 Prozent einer vorbestimmten maximalen Drehzahl, während die Reduzierung der Drehzahl NLS in Schritten von -0.4 Prozent erfolgt. Die Drehzahl NLS ist jedoch nie grösser als die der Kennlinie 10 entsprechende maximale Drehzahl Nmax(LS).
Beim Einschalten des Luftgebläses 4 ist eine Anlaufzeit von beispielsweise 5 Sekunden vorzusehen, bevor die Drehzahl weiter erhöht werden kann. Die Erhöhung der Drehzahl in Schritten von 0.8 Prozent erfolgt bevorzugt in Abständen von etwa einer Sekunde. Insbesondere bei Durchlauferhitzern ist eine schnelle Adaption der Drehzahlen wünschenswert, damit nicht zuerst lange kaltes Wasser fliesst, bis nach der Adaption der Brenner 2 tatsächlich gezündet wird.

Claims (5)

  1. Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Steuer- und Regelgeräts (1) für einen Brenner (2), bei dem die zur Verbrennung benötigte Luft mittels eines Luftgebläses (4) zur Brennkammer gefördert wird, wobei der geförderte Luftvolumenstrom mittels eines bei einem ausreichendem Luftvolumenstromes ansprechenden Luftdruckwächters (7) überwacht wird, wobei das Luftgebläse (4) in wenigstens zwei Laststufen betreibbar ist und in jeder Laststufe mit einer mittels des Steuer- und Regelgeräts (1) selbsttätig ermittelten Drehzahl dreht,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei der Inbetriebsetzung des Brenners (2)
    a) das Luftgebläse (4) in einer vorgegebenen Laststufe LS dreht, wobei die Drehzahl der Laststufe LS entweder einem fest vorgegebenen Wert oder dem bei der vorhergehenden Inbetriebnahme ermittelten Wert entspricht,
    b) dass der Luftdruckwächter (7) anspricht, wenn der geförderte Luftvolumenstrom ausreichend ist um den aktuellen Wert der Drehzahl der Laststufe LS zu erhalten,
    c) dass, sofern der Luftdruckwächter (7) nicht anspricht, die Drehzahl des Luftgebläses (4) erhöht wird, bis der Luftdruckwächter (7) anspricht,
    d) dass die Drehzahlen der übrigen Laststufen, welche auf einer dritten durch die ermittelte Laststufe LS verlaufende Kennlinie (11) liegen, aus dem Wert der Drehzahl der Laststufe LS mittels einer ersten (9) und einer zweiten vorgegebenen Kennlinie (10) berechnet werden, wobei die erste Kennlinie (9) die Abhängigkeit des Volumenstroms (V) von der Drehzahl (N) des Gebläses (4) bei minimal zu erwartendem Widerstand des Abgasweges angibt und die zweite Kennlinie (10) die Abhängigkeit des Volumenstroms (V) von der Drehzahl (N) des Gebläses (4) bei maximal zu erwartendem Widerstand des Abgasweges angibt
    und e) dass die dritte Kennlinie dadurch berechnet wird, dass Abstände zwischen den beiden ersten und zweiten vorgebenen Kennlinien (9, 10) und der dritten Kennlinie (11) für verschieden Laststufen in Verhältnis zueinander gesetzt werden.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei der Inbetriebsetzung des Brenners (2) die Drehzahl der Laststufe LS um einen vorbestimmten Wert reduziert wird, sofern bei einer vorgegebenen Anzahl von vorhergehenden Inbetriebsetzungen keine Erhöhung des Wertes der Drehzahl der Laststufe LS erfolgte, wobei die Reduzierung rückgängig gemacht wird, sofern der Luftdruckwächter (7) angibt, dass bei reduzierter Drehzahl der geförderte Luftvolumenstrom nicht ausreichend ist.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei der Inbetriebsetzung des Brenners (2) die Erhöhung oder Reduzierung der Drehzahl der Laststufe LS in diskreten Schritten erfolgt.
  4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Drehzahl N(Lx) der Laststufe Lx aus der in der Laststufe LS ermittelten Drehzahl NLS berechnet wird zu: N(Lx) = NLS - N min(Ls) N max(LS) - N min(LS) *(N max(Lx)-N min(Lx))+N min(Lx)    wobei die Grössen folgender Definition genügen:
    Nmin(LS) = minimale Drehzahl in der Laststufe LS
    Nmax(LS) = maximale Drehzahl in der Laststufe LS
    Nmin(Lx) = minimale Drehzahl in der Laststufe Lx
    Nmax(Lx) = maximale Drehzahl in der Laststufe Lx,
    und wobei Nmin(LS) und Nmin(Lx) durch die erste Kennlinie (9) bestimmt und N max(LS) und Nmax(Lx) durch die zweite Kennlinie (10) bestimmt sind.
  5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beziehung zwischen den Drehzahlen Nmin(Lx) der verschiedenen Laststufen Lx und dem geförderten Luftvolumenstrom als eine lineare Beziehung dargestellt ist und dass die Beziehung zwischen den Drehzahlen Nmax(Lx) der verschiedenen Laststufen Lx und dem geförderten Luftvolumenstrom als eine lineare Beziehung dargestellt ist.
