Abstract

Eine Naßpartie einer Maschine zur Herstellung einer Faserstoffbahn 10 umfaßt wenigstens eine Presse, die einen Preßspalt umfaßt, durch den die in einer Bahnbildungszone vorgebildete Faserstoffbahn 10 hindurchgeführt ist. Dabei ist wenigstens eine Presse eine Langspaltpresse 20 und der betreffende Preßspalt ein in Bahnlaufrichtung L verlängerter Preßspalt. Dieser Preßspalt ist in einem Bereich vorgesehen, in dem der Trockengehalt der in den Spalt einlaufenden vorgebildeten Faserstoffbahn 10 kleiner oder gleich 15 % und vorzugsweise kleiner oder gleich 12 % ist.
