Abstract

Eine Maschine zur Herstellung einer Faserstoffbahn, insbesondere Tissue- oder Hygienepapierbahn, ist mit einer eine Anpreßeinheit und einen Trockenzylinder umfassenden Hauptpresse versehen. Die Anpreßeinheit der Hauptpresse und/oder eine einer Vorpresse zugeordnete Preßeinheit ist zur Bildung einer jeweiligen Schuhpresse mit in Bahnlaufrichtung verlängertem Preßspalt durch eine Schuhpreßeinheit gebildet. Die in Bahnlaufrichtung betrachtet erste Schuhpresse ist so ausgelegt, daß das in deren Preßspalt über die Spaltlänge L erzeugte Druckprofil p(L) einen progressiven Druckanstieg aufweist, der im Bereich des Spaltanfanges beginnt und sich über wenigstens ein Drittel, vorzugsweise wenigstens die Hälfte der Spaltlänge L erstreckt.
