A bogie for rail vehicles with a frame (1), two sets of wheels (2) and a steering linkage (3) for making radial adjustments of the sets of wheels (2) in track curves, wherein springs (5) are arranged between the bogie frame (1) and the bearings (4) of the sets of wheels (2), and wherein the wheel-set bearings (4) are each held in the manner of a pendulum in the longitudinal direction of the bogie about an axis of rotation (7) situated above their horizontal median plane (M), and the steering linkage (3) is attached to the wheel-set bearings (4) below their horizontal median plane (M), characterized in that the wheel-set bearings (4) are each guided on the bogie frame (1) in the longitudinal and transverse directions by a guide leaf (6) having the axis of rotation (7) thereof situated above the horizontal median plane (M), wherein each guide leaf (6) is made resilient in a manner known per se and is effective parallel to the springs (5).
  2. A bogie according to Claim 1, characterized in that the guide leaf (6) and the steering linkage (3) are connected to the respective wheel-set bearing (4) with respect to the horizontal median plane (M) in such a way that the lever arm (a) on the guide side is smaller than the lever arm (b) on the linkage side.
  3. A bogie according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the guide leaf (6) is attached to the wheel-set bearing (4) by a rubber-metal bush forming the axis of rotation (7).
  4. A bogie according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the guide leaf (6) is connected to the bogie frame (1) in an adjustable manner in the longitudinal direction, preferably by way of corresponding serrated strips (6a, 1a).
