Claims (11)

  1. A sliding partition comprising a guide rail, and presenting at least two sliding partition elements (2, 4) mounted and movable by means of bearing and guide elements (5, 6), on at least one guide rail (1) to be stationary horizontally disposed, at least the last sliding partition element (2), as considered in the direction of the closing movement of the sliding partition, is mounted on bearing and guide elements (5, 6), of which at least the rear bearing and guide element (6), as considered in the direction of the closing movement, is mounted in such a way on the sliding partition element (2) that it is slidable in the longitudinal direction of the sliding partition element (2), characterised in that the guide rail (1) is provided with a bend (21) adjoining it in the end zone, and a thereto adjoining guide rail (22).
  2. A sliding partition according to claim 1, characterised in that the rear bearing and guide element (6) of the last sliding partition element (2), as considered in the direction of the closing movement, presents an own drive unit so that during the closing operation, said last sliding partition element (2) is automatically movable into the closed position in alignment with the other sliding partition elements (4).
  3. A sliding partition according to the claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the rear bearing and guide element (6) is mounted slidably in a guide channel (10) disposed on the sliding partition element (2).
  4. A sliding partition according to the claims 1 and 3, characterised in that the rear bearing and guide element (6) presents at least one carriage (13) movable in the guide channel (10) and having at least one roller (11).
  5. A sliding partition according to claim 4, characterised in that the carriage (13) is provided with at least one spring element, the force of which being overcome manually or by a drive unit on the closing of the sliding partition element (2).
  6. A sliding partition according to claim 4, characterised in that the guide channel (10) of the sliding partition element (2) is designed such that the sliding partition element (2) is mounted so as to be suspended from the roller (11) of the rear bearing and guide element (6), said roller projecting into the guide channel (10).
  7. A sliding partition according to claim 1, characterised in that the rear bearing and guide element (6) is designed such to be rotatable in such a manner that the sliding partition element (2) is pivotable relative to the guide rail (1).
  8. A sliding partition according to claim 1, characterised in that the bearing and guide elements (5) are provided with a drive unit.
  9. A sliding partition according to claims 2 and 8, characterised in that the drive unit comprises an electric motor, the drive shaft of which is provided with means, through which the bearing and guide elements (5, 6) respectively the sliding partition elements (2, 4) are movable along the guide rails in operative connection with an engagement surface or an engagement profile disposed along or approximately parallel to the guide rail (1, 21, 22).
  10. A sliding partition according to claims 8 and 9, characterised in that a drive pinion (8) is disposed on the drive shaft of the electric motor so as to rotate therewith and is intended to engage in a toothed engagement profile (9), which consists of a toothed belt disposed in a corresponding recess extending along the guide rail (1).
  11. A sliding partition according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that a control system is provided, which, by way of current busbars and current taps, controls the current supply and the sequence of operations.
