That is, since the engine is normally in operation during the control, the CPU stores the initial value in case the influence of the noise generated by the communication on the external equipment and the influence of the noise on the communication from the external equipment are critical or the processing load of the CPU in communication is critical.
  • the CPU 9 determines whether or not the communication condition is realized in step 500 in FIG. 14 and performs communication processing in step 501 if the condition is realized. Next the CPU 9 determines whether or not the communication is normally terminated in step 502. Abnormality processing is performed in step 504 if normal termination is not determined, and the data obtained by the communication is stored in the back-up memory in step 503 if normal termination is detected.
  • the following conditions are considered: (i) in case that the operative position of the key switch is in a engine-stop and electric power is supplied to the control system; (ii) in case of idling the engine; (iii) during continuing the electric power source is supplied after the ignition key switch 23 is turned off. More specifically, when the CPU 9, which monitors the engine rotational speed, finds the rotational speeds is "0" rpm, the CPU 9 starts communication with determining the state of the above-mentioned condition (i) exists. In addition, when the CPU 9 monitors the engine rotational speed of 600-700 rpm, the CPU state starts communication with determining the state of the above-mentioned condition (ii) exists. The operation load of the CPU 9 is light in idling.
  • condition (iii) can be applied to a system with a delay function (timer) as shown in FIG. 15.
  • the CPU 9 is connected to a coil 70a of a relay circuit 70 for supplying electric power to the non-pump side controller 5.

Claims (11)

  1. Verfahren zum Steuern einer Einspritzpumpe eines Fahrzeugdieselmotors, mit den Verfahrensschritten:
    Speichern Basissteuerdaten für die Einspritzpumpe (1) in erste Speichermittel;
    Speichern von Korrekturdaten (52, 54) bezüglich der Basissteuerdaten in zweite Speichermittel;
    Empfangen der Korrekturdaten und eines Selektionscodes aus den zweiten Speichermitteln via serielle Übertragung, um die Korrekturdaten in dritte Speichermittel (8) im Empfangsmittel zu speichern;
    Speichern von Korrekturdaten aus dem Empfangsmittel in dritte Speichermittel;
    Ausführen einer vorbestimmten Operation auf der Grundlage der in den ersten Speichermitteln (6) gespeicherten Steuerdaten und der in den dritten Speichermitteln (8) gespeicherten Korrekturdaten, durch Operationsmittel (9),
       gekennzeichnet durch
    Speichern der Korrekturdaten in unterschiedlichen Längen abhängig von Gegenständen, auf die sie sich beziehen, und durch einen Selektionscode (51, 53) zum Aufzeigen sowohl des Gegenstands als auch der Datenlänge der Korrekturdaten, die zu den entsprechenden Korrekturdaten im zweiten speichermittel gehören, und
    Auswählen des Selektionscodes in der Weise, daß er ein Bitmuster enthält, das eine Datenlänge der Korrekturdaten auf der Grundlage einer gewünschten Auflösung der Korrekturdaten aufzeigt, und dadurch,
    daß das Empfangsmittel (9) die Datenlänge der Korrekturdaten auf der Grundlage des Bitmusters im Selektionscode herausfindet und die Korrekturdaten mit der Datenlänge und dem Selektionscode in die dritten Speichermittel (8) speichert.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, bei dem:
    die zweiten Speichermittel (7) an einer Einspritzpumpe (1) zum Liefern von Kraftstoff an einen Dieselmotor als Steuergegenstand befestigt ist;
    die ersten Speichermittel (6) und die dritten Speichermittel (8) auf einer Steuerung (5) befestigt sind, um die Einspritzpumpe (1) zu steuern;
    die in den ersten Speichermitteln (6) gespeicherten Daten Steuerdaten zum Steuern der Einspritzpumpe (1) sind; und bei dem
    die in den zweiten Speichermitteln (7) gespeicherten Daten für jede mögliche Art der Einspritzpumpe (1) sind.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, mit den weiteren Verfahrensschritten:
    Speichern von Korrekturdaten von Vielfachpunkten in einem Reglermuster der Einspritzpumpe (1) in den zweiten Speichermitteln und einem Selektionscode gemäß den Korrekturdaten; und
    Bestimmen von Datenlänge und Gegenstand aus den Korrekturdaten vom Empfangsmittel (9) durch eine Kombination eines Bitmusters vom Selektionscode.
  4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, mit den weiteren Verfahrensschritten:
    Ausführen einer Datenübertragung zwischen den zweiten Speichermitteln (7) und den dritten Speichermitteln (8) von einem seriellen Übertragungsmittel (10, 11, 21); und
    Herausfinden des Empfangsmittel (9) einer Datenlänge der nach Bestimmen des höchstwertigen Bits im Selektionscode gesendeten Korrekturdaten;
       wobei die dritten Speichermittel (8) dem Speichern der vom Empfangsmittel (9) bestätigten Korrekturdaten gemäß der Datenlänge dienen.
  5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, bei dem:
    die zweiten Speichermittel ein austauschbarer ROM sind, dessen Bits im Anfangszustand alle auf "1" gesetzt sind;
    und bei dem sich die Bits vor Austausch unter Datenersetzung zum Austausch erneuerter Daten in eine unbeschriebene Zone des ROM auf "0" ändern.
  6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, mit den weiteren Verfahrensschritten: aufeinanderfolgendes Senden mit einem Sendemittel (10, 11, 21) von Daten einer Leitadresse der zweiten Speichermittel (7) bis zu einer Adresse, die um eine Adresse vor einer Adresse einer Zone liegt, die alle Bitdaten mit "1" speichert, und Überspringen einer Adresse einer Zone, die den Selektionscode und Korrekturdaten speichert, die alle Bitdaten mit "0" aufzeigen.
  7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, bei dem:
    das zweite Speichermittel auf eine Einspritzpumpe (1) montiert ist, die Kraftstoff an einen Dieselmotor liefert;
    die ersten (6) und die dritten (8) Speichermittel auf einer Steuerung (5) befestigt sind, die die Einspritzpumpe (1) steuert; und
    die in den zweiten Speichermitteln (7) gespeicherten Daten der Korrektur einer Verteilung der mechanischen Elemente für jede mögliche Art der Einspritzpumpe (1) dienen.
  8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, mit dem Verfahrensschritt des Ausführens wenigsten einer Übertragung der Korrekturdaten von den zweiten Speichermitteln (7) zu den dritten Speichermitteln (8) mit einer Überprüfung der vom dritten Speichermittel (8) empfangenen Daten, wenn einer vorbestimmte Bedingung genügt ist.
  9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, bei dem die vorbestimmte Bedingung erfüllt ist, wenn elektrischer Strom fließt.
  10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, bei dem die vorbestimmte Bedingung erfüllt ist, wenn eine vorbestimmte Zeitdauer verstrichen ist.
  11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, bei dem die vorbestimmte Bedingung erfüllt ist, wenn eine geringe Betriebsbelastung vorliegt.
