Definitions
- the object of the invention is, in particular with seating a stool, limited sideways and tilting movement enable in a simple and reliable manner and especially the posture-promoting effect improve.
- the leg of a one-leg stool is flexible, the seat attached to it can move laterally and tilt accordingly, but always exercises a significant and with increasing deflection progressive restoring force in the Middle layer off.
- the preferred one, between seat and foot clamped, e.g. stainless steel, the leg forming rod can bend and resiliently holds the Tension. This relieves the entire spine, Relaxation and strengthening of the muscles.
- the lower extremities of the user are optimally supplied with blood, because they can also be active while sitting. This actively promotes body straightening.
- the Muscles get tired and tense not so easily, because the Seat inclination is playfully variable. By the powerful Restoring force keeps the muscles in motion and trained.
- the progressively increasing spring force automatically limits that Deflection and thus also prevents tipping over.
- the resilience of the flexible leg should match the size and stability be adjusted to ensure that even if the user's center of gravity is not deflected outside the support area of the foot.
- the leg should be rigidly connected to the seat and foot be. So there is also a fixed relation between side and Given tilting movement of the seat. This characteristic can however, consciously by changing with the height of the leg Bending properties are influenced. If, for example the leg is tapered in height in cross section, so its bend line to a greater curvature in the upper Lead area and the tilt of the seat becomes stronger than a leg not tapered. Influencing the bending line or the deflection characteristic can also gradual, e.g. through a lower, well flexible and an upper, less or not flexible leg section, whereby the seat tilt is less with the same deflection becomes.
- the leg should be made of material with in the stress area ideal elastic properties exist, i.e. in this The deformation area should be purely elastic without permanent Share, e.g. for steel below the yield point.
- For Individual sections of the leg are also other resilient elements suitable, e.g. Rubber metal composite elements (vibrating metals) or coil springs. Except through the cross-sectional taper can the bending properties over the height of the Leg can also be influenced in other ways, for example due to shape, wall thickness differences in pipe material etc. It is also possible to choose between leg and seat or Install a damping or bending element in the foot, e.g. from the above composite material.
- the seating furniture in all directions is evenly flexible in special cases be desired to create a preferred direction of deflection.
- This is through appropriate cross-sectional choice of the leg, for example an oval or non-circular cross section, or other means of creating different bending properties possible in different directions. So could for example a tilt in the forward / backward direction in to a greater extent than tipping sideways.
- the foot can be a relatively solid plate, e.g. made of cast aluminum etc. on which the leg, especially by insertion, be used for slip resistance on the Provide underground, so with a conscious "push" of the To prevent the user from sliding sideways.
- a foot design in the form of a plate or The disc can also be a multi-armed foot, for example used a five-armed foot shape with or without casters will.
- a sleeve at its upper and / or lower end have or be inserted into a sleeve, which in turn attached to the seat or foot using a mounting flange is.
- This sleeve can be used, in particular, for seat attachment also serve as a pivot bearing for the seat.
- Fig. 1 shows a one-legged stool 11 with a possibly padded, for example round seat 12, a middle, single leg 13 and a foot 14, which in the form of e.g. Round disc 15 formed with a central hub area 16 is. He is standing on floor 30.
- a possibly padded, for example round seat 12 a middle, single leg 13 and a foot 14, which in the form of e.g. Round disc 15 formed with a central hub area 16 is. He is standing on floor 30.
- Leg 13 is essentially in both the foot and the seat rigidly used, i.e. at the junction There are no significant angular deviations in the leg / foot or seat / foot between leg and foot when subjected to side loads on.
- the seat 12 With lateral or asymmetrical loading to the leg axis 31 the seat 12 can move somewhat sideways and tilt at the same time.
- the leg is called a relatively thin rod made of a high-strength elastic Material, such as stainless steel.
- the flexibility and especially the ratio of elasticity to Breaking strength can be achieved through appropriate choice of materials and / or cross-sectional formation can be influenced. Also fiber-reinforced plastics, for example using carbon fibers, Kevlar or glass fibers are suitable for this.
- Fig. 1 shows lateral deflection positions, the example shown the deflection mainly in the upper Part of the leg takes place. This can be done by appropriate Increased softness in the upper part of the leg , but also e.g. through a conscious tilt of the seat (e.g. due to asymmetrical loading in connection with corresponding "counter-thrust" by the user's legs). In this way, the user can create his own ideal Adjust the seating position and keep it playful change, causing him to move his muscles and joints holds and trains without the usual seat fatigue to get. Although a swivel and / or tilt area from 20 ° on all sides is often sufficient from 5 ° to 10 ° to achieve the desired effects.
- Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of a stool, in which the Foot as a casting, for example made of cast aluminum is. It has the shape of a central hub 16 outgoing weakly conical disc 15 with an outer flange 32 parallel to the floor, in which there are holes, are inserted in the support buffer 22. They support the foot 14 on the floor 30 and prevent slipping side load.
- the Foot as a casting, for example made of cast aluminum is. It has the shape of a central hub 16 outgoing weakly conical disc 15 with an outer flange 32 parallel to the floor, in which there are holes, are inserted in the support buffer 22. They support the foot 14 on the floor 30 and prevent slipping side load.
- a vertical bore 20 is present in the hub 16, in which fits a lower, slightly conical end section 18 a stainless steel rod 17 is inserted, the leg 13 forms.
- the end section 18 is well rounded compared to the freely extending rod 17 thickened to the loads on the main stress To reduce the clamping point.
- the solid rod 16 in its upper section 19 is the solid rod 16 in turn somewhat thickened and in the form of a sleeve 28 with a inner bore 33 formed.
- the mounting flange has the pin 25 surrounding an annular recess 35 within which a Groove in the exterior of the sleeve 28 inserted snap ring 26 is located.
- the ring recess 35 is down through a locking washer 27, which is screwed onto the mounting flange 24, so closed that when the seat is lifted the snap ring concerns her. In this way, the seat is opposite the leg rotates in the sleeve, but against axial pulling secured.
- the sleeve 28 can also be made separately and on as smoother, e.g. Rod made of spring steel Leg 13 are placed, e.g. by shrinking. The the same applies to the cone at the end section 18.
