Description

The present invention relates to projectors of motor vehicles, and more particularly to discharge lamp type headlamps.

Motor vehicle headlamps discharges are powered by alternating currents, from preferably square, which increases notably the lifetime of the lamps.

However, due to the richness of the harmonics present in a square feed signal, these projectors emit electromagnetic signals parasites, harmful to the electronic environment of the vehicle. Such spurious signals are for example likely to disturb the electronic control of the engine, anti-lock brake system, car radios, etc.

To solve this problem, it is already known to shield the supply wires.

However, this solution does not reduce the emission specific to the elements inside the projector, including lamp emissions, via his base.

It was also proposed to lock the lamp of the projector in a FARADAY cage made up of reflector of the headlamp and of the front glass thereof, said ice being armed with a mesh produced by small diameter metal wires.

However, with this solution, the transmission reinforced ice optics are attenuated so important, since it is only around 60 to 70%. This drop in transmission causes the lamp to lose discharges part of its main interest, which is to provide a high luminous flux.

In addition, the light is diffracted on each chain link mesh, which creates glare incompatible with regulatory requirements.

An object of the invention is therefore to propose a motor vehicle headlamp whose sources of noise is reduced, without performance projector optics are not attenuated.

To this end, it offers a lamp projector with discharge for a motor vehicle comprising a reflector concave in the bottom of which is placed a lamp with discharge, characterized in that it comprises, inside of the reflector, a metal ring that surrounds the lamp discharge near its base and which is connected to the mass.

  • il comporte un occulteur et celui-ci est relié à la masse ;
  • la face interne du réflecteur est reliée à la masse ;
  • l'occulteur est fixé mécaniquement par rapport au réflecteur par l'intermédiaire de pattes de fixation, qui sont en appui sur la face interne dudit réflecteur ;
  • au moins une patte de fixation traverse le réflecteur, son extrémité à l'extérieur du réflecteur coopérant avec des moyens complémentaires pour assurer la fixation de ladite patte par rapport au réflecteur ;
  • la bague métallique se termine par un rebord annulaire par lequel elle est fixée sur la face externe du réflecteur ;
  • ladite patte de fixation est fixée sur ledit rebord qui termine la bague ;
  • la bague métallique est fixée sur les pattes de fixation par l'intermédiaire d'éléments qui s'étendent sensiblement radialement entre ladite bague et lesdites pattes ;
  • une patte de fixation qui s'étend à travers le réflecteur est rabattue sur une protubérance externe que présente ledit réflecteur ;
This projector is advantageously supplemented by the following different characteristics taken alone or in all their technically possible combinations:
  • it has a concealer and this is connected to ground;
  • the internal face of the reflector is connected to ground;
  • the screen is mechanically fixed relative to the reflector by means of fixing lugs, which are supported on the internal face of said reflector;
  • at least one fixing lug passes through the reflector, its end outside the reflector cooperating with complementary means for ensuring the fixing of said lug relative to the reflector;
  • the metal ring ends with an annular rim by which it is fixed to the external face of the reflector;
  • said fixing lug is fixed to said flange which ends the ring;
  • the metal ring is fixed to the fixing lugs by means of elements which extend substantially radially between said ring and said lugs;
  • a fixing lug which extends through the reflector is folded over an external protuberance which the said reflector has;
  • a fixing lug which extends through the reflector is folded down on a metal crown screwed externally to the reflector.

  • la figure 1 est une représentation schématique en coupe d'un projecteur conforme à un mode de réalisation possible pour l'invention ;
  • la figure 2 est une représentation schématique en coupe d'un projecteur conforme à un deuxième mode de réalisation possible pour l'invention ;
Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description which follows. This description is purely illustrative and not limiting. It must be read in conjunction with the appended drawings in which:
  • Figure 1 is a schematic sectional representation of a projector according to a possible embodiment for the invention;
  • Figure 2 is a schematic sectional view of a projector according to a second possible embodiment for the invention;
  • Figure 3 is a schematic sectional representation of a third possible embodiment of the invention.

The reflector 1 conventionally has a concave shape which reflects the light emitted by the lamp 2 so as to what it leaves the projector in a directed beam. This concave shape is for example a paraboloid shape or other, a home of which is arranged near the lamp 2.

This reflector 1 is for example constituted by a sheet or wall made of plastic, on which an aluminum film is deposited.

The lamp 2 is for example a discharge lamp with sodium iodides.

The discharge tube 2a extends inside the reflector 1, from its bottom, along the axis of said reflector 1; the 2b supply base extends outside the reflector 1, from the bottom of it and is in support direct on said reflector 1.

This ring metallic 4 is, as will be described later in more detail, linked to the common ground of the system, on which are connected the different masses and pieces of shielding of the various components of the electronic system (control ballast, 12 V and high voltage connectors, etc, ...). This ring 4 is used to capture emissions the lamp 2.

More specifically, this metal ring 4 is ends with an outer annular rim 4a which, when the ring 4 is in place on the reflector 1, is interposed between the external face of the reflector and a flange 5 that presents the base 2b of the lamp.

Le réflecteur 1 présente, sur sa face externe, une ou plusieurs protubérances la - qui servent au positionnement de la lampe - contre lesquelles le rebord 5 du culot 2b vient en appui, ces protubérances étant par ailleurs destinées à s'engager dans un orifice complémentaire que présente le rebord annulaire 4a de la bague 4, pour maintenir ladite bague 4 en place par rapport au réflecteur 1.The reflector 1 has, on its external face, a or several protrusions la - which are used for lamp positioning - against which flange 5 of the base 2b comes to bear, these protuberances being by elsewhere intended to engage in an orifice that the annular rim 4a of the ring 4, to hold said ring 4 in place by relative to reflector 1.

The cover 3 forming a concealer is held in place relative to reflector 1 via two fixing lugs 6 extending between said concealer 3 and the reflector 1, these tabs 6 being distributed on one side and on the other side of the discharge tube 2a.

These fixing lugs 6 are lugs metallic. They are, at their end opposite to the screen 3, pressing against the aluminized face of the reflector 1, at least one of these legs 6 passing through said reflector 1 at an orifice 7 that the latter present (bottom hole or specific bore).

Thus, the aluminized face of the reflector 1 and the concealer 3 - both of which are likely to constitute radiation emission antennas harmful electromagnetic - are both linked to the mass, which prevents any emission.

La fixation de l'occulteur 3 sur le réflecteur 1 peut être réalisée au moyen de la bague 4, les pattes 6 étant griffées au travers du rebord 4a de ladite bague 4 pour assurer en même temps la mise à la masse de l'occulteur 3 et le maintien mécanique dudit occulteur 3.Attaching the shield 3 to the reflector 1 can be achieved by means of the ring 4, the tabs 6 being scratched through the rim 4a of said ring 4 to ensure at the same time the grounding of the concealer 3 and the mechanical retention of said concealer 3.

We took over for the projector elements of the Figure 1 found on the projector of Figure 2, the same reference numbering increased by 10.

This projector comprises a reflector 11, a lamp discharge 12 which has a tube 12a and a base 12b, as well as a concealer 13 fixed relative to the reflector 11 by means of fixing lugs 16.

A metal ring 14 connected to earth surrounds part 12a of the discharge lamp. This ring metallic 14 does not have an annular rim similar to ledge 4a, but is fixed to the spotlight via legs 18 which extend radially from the outer face of said ring 14 to the fixing lugs 16 of the screen.

The screen 13 is for example fixed on the reflector 11 by folding legs 16 on protrusions 19 on the rear side thereof, these legs 16 being otherwise in contact with the face aluminized reflector 11.

At least one of the legs 16 is connected to the ground, so that the aluminized face of the reflector 11, the ring 14 and blackout 13 are both grounded.

The concealer 13 is in support by means of these fixing lugs 16 on the reflector 11, which prevents movement of the concealer 13 towards the rear of the reflector.

We took over for the elements of the variant of the Figure 1 which is found on this variant the same reference numbering increased by 20.

As in the case of the variant illustrated on the Figure 2, the ring 24 is fixed to the fixing lugs 26 by elements which extend radially.

The fixing lugs 26 pass through through relative to reflector 21 and folded down in whole or in part on a metal crown 30, fixed by screwing on the reflector 21.

As a further variant, it can be provided that the weight gain is achieved by the metallic mask of the reflector.
