Claims (11)

  1. Watchstrap clasp comprising two articulated arms (3, 11) and a double locking effect afforded, on the one hand, by a locking device (4, 6) comprising elements secured to the said respective articulated arms (3, 11) and shaped to engage with one another following pressure exerted between these two arms and, on the other hand, by a safety cover (5) shaped to engage with catching means following a second pressure exerted between it and the said articulated arms (3, 11) in engagement with each other, characterized in that the said locking device comprises, on the one hand, a locking lug (6) and, on the other hand, elastic means (14) for, first of all, engaging with this locking lug (6) and then with the said safety cover (5), the forces exerted on the said elastic means (14) following their engagement with the said locking lug (6) and with the said safety cover (5) adding together.
  2. Clasp according to Claim 1, characterized in that a locking device (4) has at least one locking piston (14, 14') able to move with clearance along an axis (AA') under the effect of the closure force applying this locking piston against the locking lug (6).

Clasp according to Claim 1, characterized in that one of the said locking elements (14, 14') in the form of a self-centring elastic clip that can be compressed/extended along an axis of contact (AA') under the effect of the closure force, exerts, on the locking lug (6), a force which tends to keep the said locking element (14, 14') engaged with the locking lug (6).

Clasp according to Claim 1, characterized in that at least one variable-diameter pin (17, 18) with different flexibility properties and/or diameters allows at least one of the said locking elements (14, 14') to be given some clearance so as to reduce the effective force exerted on the locking lug (6).
  5.
