Definitions
- the so-called CIP cleaning "of filling machines and in particular the filling elements of such machines is known and customary.
- the gas and liquid paths are activated by actuating the valves there, namely the liquid valves in the Liquid paths or channels and the control valves in the gas paths, opened and closed so that the gas and liquid paths to be cleaned are flowed through in a desired manner by the liquid cleaning media in a closed circuit.
- the object of the invention is a method for an improved CIP cleaning to show. To achieve this object, such a method is in accordance with the invention trained according to claim 1. A filling machine that does a CIP cleaning according to this method, is according to claim 6 executed.
- the CIP cleaning of the filling machine takes place with the machine standing, i.e. Not rotating rotor by corresponding actuation of the valves of the filling elements, i.e. of the liquid valves and the gas path control valves, through the electronic Control.
- this is controlled Valves through the electronic control such that the opening and closing of the Valves from filling element to filling element are each time-shifted or out of phase in this way takes place that when the rotor is stationary in a predetermined circumferential direction Rotor's circumferential opening and closing angles result, i.e. all gas and Liquid paths can be switched all around accordingly.
- One advantage of the method according to the invention is in that during CIP cleaning, for which a relatively long time is required (sometimes up to more than two Hours), other work on the standing filling machine can, for example, retrofitting and maintenance work, provided that this work the CIP cleaning do not interfere.
- it is possible during CIP cleaning convert the filling machine to a different container or bottle size or to convert and / or replace the bottle guide elements for this.
- the changeover time required for this is, for example, 30 to 60 minutes and can be can easily be accommodated in the time required for CIP cleaning.
- 1 is a rotating machine of the rotating type for filling containers or bottles 2 with a liquid filling material.
- the filling machine 1 has in a known For example, a rotor 3 rotating around a vertical machine axis MA A large number of filling elements 4 are provided, which are also known Form a filling station together with a bottle carrier.
- the bottles 2 to be filled are the filling machine 1 or the rotor 3 via a Feed dog 5 and an inlet star 6 (if necessary with an upstream one-part screw) fed.
- the filled bottles 2 are transferred via a transfer star 7 subsequent capping machine 8, for example bottle cap capper fed.
- the filled and closed bottles 2 reach the through an outlet star 9 Transporter 10.
- the stars 6, 7 and 9 are assigned Guide elements indicated. Just like the stars, they can too Guide elements have a wide variety of designs.
- the filling machine 1 or its rotor 3, the sealing machine 8 or its rotor and the stars 6, 7 and 9 are, for example, by a common drive driven and form a common machine block or a combined Filling and sealing machine.
- the filling machine 1 is one with electrical or electronic controlled filling elements 4. Such a filling element 4 is very simplified in FIG. 2 reproduced. Each of these filling elements is attached to the circumference of a ring bowl 14, which is part of the rotor 3 and the annular interior 15 for receiving the forms liquid filling material and to create a span gas space.
- the actuating element 22 and the control valves 23 and 24 each have their own electrically actuated pneumatic valve 27 assigned.
- the pneumatic valves 27 All filling elements 4 are from a central, preferably computer or microprocessor-based control device 28 according to a predetermined or preselected program controlled, namely when filling the bottles 2 in Depending on the respective angular position of the rotating rotor 3 then, that the desired sequence occurs when filling.
- the special feature of the filling machine 1 is that the input 29 through the Controller 28, which controls valves 21, 23 and 24 during filling, one Program routine can be initiated in which, with the filling machine 1 switched off, i.e. when the rotor 3 is not rotating, and accordingly also when the rotor is switched off or non-rotating capping machine 8 and non-rotating stars 6, 7 and 9 CIP cleaning is carried out on all filling elements 4, specifically at one for this cleaning or for the cleaning sequence controlled actuation of the Actuators 22 and control valves 23 and 24 of the filling elements 4 accordingly the cleaning program stored in the program memory 30 there.
- the prerequisite for this CIP cleaning is, of course, that all Filling elements 4 through the rinsing container 31 or rinsing sleeves or CIP caps are sealed.
- the liquid valves 21 and the control valves 23 and 24 are controlled by the electronic control device 28 such that the opening and Closing of these valves from filling element 4 to filling element 4 each with a time delay or out of phase so that when the rotor 3 is stationary in a predetermined Circumferential direction of the rotor 3 (arrow A) circumferential opening and closing angles result and so on with the lowest possible volume flows for CIP cleaning used cleaning media all filling elements 4 and their gas and Fluid pathways can nevertheless be treated intensively with these cleaning media.
- An advantage of the invention is also that by performing the CIP cleaning with the machine stopped, maintenance and retrofitting work on the Filling machine 1 and / or on the closing machine 8 and on the stars 6 - 9 and the associated guide elements 11, 12 and 13 can be made there in particular, it is also possible to fill the filling machine 1 and the sealing machine 8 other container or bottle size, for example, by exchanging the Convert guide elements 11 - 13.
