Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a height-adjustable shaft closure. especially Sewer shaft termination, according to the preamble of claim 1.
Usually, shafts that provide access to the underlying channels or. offer similar facilities, formed by concrete rings. where the top ring is one Offers support for the manhole cover or manhole cover. The height of the lid is determined by Intermediate rings made of concrete adapted to the road surface level. The intermediate rings are only in rough gradations available. which is why only a rough adjustment is possible. Resulting too high or too low manhole covers are on roads for Drivers are annoying and can e.g. even an obstacle for single-track vehicles and thus being dangerous. If the road surface is renewed, it must be readjusted the height of the manhole cover is required. This is a relatively labor intensive process.
Die US 3 629 981 A beschreibt einen
AT 380 044 B und der FR 2 523 615 A bekannt. Auch diese Konstruktionen sind nicht
einfach auf bestehende Schachtsysteme aufsetzbar. For example, CH 627 505 A5 describes a height-adjustable shaft end,
whose mechanism consists of two concentric rings, the inner ring of which

The object of the invention is to provide measures which a Height adjustment of a manhole cover, manhole cover or the like in a simple and inexpensive manner infinitely or with a small step height while avoiding the disadvantages mentioned above enable. The measures according to the invention are intended for both existing and new shaft closures may be applicable.
The object of the invention is achieved by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1. that the flange-like extension of the insert has the same shape as the upper end of the shaft, the construction can be applied to existing shaft ends using the original shaft or duct cover. It is only necessary to " interpose" the insert and the or each component between the manhole cover and the shaft. The present invention can thus be used in a simple manner for existing shaft systems. By protruding the insert into the shaft, a higher adjustment range can be achieved compared to known systems. The or each component that can be attached to the structures on the insert simplifies handling when adjusting the height of the shaft end. The structures on the insert and the corresponding shapes on the or each component can have different shapes. Sawtooth-shaped bulges and corresponding grooves on the or each component can be provided on the insert. Holes on the insert and bolt-shaped extensions on the or each component are also conceivable. with the help of which the or each component can be fixed to the insert at the desired height. The height is adjusted by lifting the insert out of the shaft, which or each component is attached to the insert at a corresponding height, and then lowering the insert with the or each component back into the shaft. There is usually a recess at the top of the shaft. on which the or each component rests securely and non-slip. The insert is thus held at a height which is defined by the attachment of the or each component to the structures on the insert. The step height is determined by the spacing of the structures in the vertical direction. In contrast to known systems for height adjustment of manhole covers, the system according to the invention can also be applied to manhole covers with, for example, a rectangular or square cross section. For the cheapest possible production, the insert and each component are preferably made of cast iron. however, the use of other suitable materials is also possible.
Advantageously, the insert according to the invention is essentially tubular, so that a Access to the shaft or a free drain of e.g. Allow sewage in the sewer becomes.
Existing shafts are usually cylindrical, which is why the use according to the invention ideally is also essentially cylindrical. Furthermore, result from the cylindrical shape further advantages in use. which mentioned below will.
In the case of a cylindrical insert, according to a further feature, the Invention of the or each component designed in a ring. In the case of a one-piece component this completely encloses the insert and therefore offers optimal support. A ring-shaped Component can with appropriate design of the structures in use and the corresponding shapes on the component can be adjusted by rotation.
The structures are advantageously composed of a plurality of ones which run essentially horizontally Bulges and the formations on the or each component by a corresponding shaped groove formed. This construction variant is light and therefore inexpensive to manufacture.
To adjust the height of the manhole or manhole cover in very fine increments enable, the vertical distances of the essentially horizontal Structures between 1 mm and 10 mm, preferably 5 mm. This can be a legal Regulation, which provides an adjustability of less than 5 mm, must be met.
A stepless height adjustment can be achieved. that the structures on one cylindrical insert are formed by an external thread. Thus, by twisting of or each component can be adjusted in height.
Accordingly, the or each component is through a ring with an external thread appropriate internal thread. So the ring can be on the desired height on the insert rotated and this is inserted into the shaft. By Rotation of the ring relative to the insert can change the height of the manhole cover can be varied.
If the ring-shaped component by two ring halves with a shape on their Inside is formed in the form of a groove corresponding to the external thread of the insert, the placement of the component on the insert can be facilitated, since this does not come from below must be screwed onto the insert, but immediately to the correct height from the outside can be put on. The insert with the component is placed in the shaft used. is due to the existing recess at the top of the shaft of the component or the components are fixed and keep the insert in the correct position. With a component in The shape of a continuous ring is also used for smooth upper shaft ends possible. since the ring cannot slip sideways.
According to a further feature of the invention, means, for example plug pins or Wedges. provided which the or each annular component in front of the insert Secure twisting. These offer certainty that the height of the manhole cover, sewer cover or Like. Is not changed by unwanted rotation of the insert.
By arranging a sealing element, preferably a sealing ring. out elastic material between the or each component and the upper shaft end, can Noise and vibrations, e.g. occur when a vehicle over the shaft or Manhole cover moves. be dampened.
With newly constructed manhole covers, it is advantageous if the manhole or Manhole cover and the insert are made in one piece. The production can e.g. in a casting process.
A support ring or the like is advantageously around the upper end of the insert and between the insert and the support ring or the like. If necessary, a wedge ring or the like is arranged. Of the Support ring prevents bulk goods or asphalt from sticking to the structures on the insert or damage and thus prevent height adjustment. The insert can be used with the wedge ring are wedged with the support ring and rotation is prevented. Of course it is Shape of the support and wedge ring is not limited to the ring shape but can also be a other shape of the shaft cross section can be adapted.

Einsatz 4 mit dem Kanaldeckel 1 einstückig hergestellt sein.1 includes a manhole cover 1 or the like, which
is normally placed on a pipe or the like forming
Außenwand des Einsatzes 4.According to a variant of the invention, the
Fig. 2 shows a side view of a slightly modified performance variant in cross section.
The shaft is formed by a pipe. The
Keilstücke oder sonstiger Mittel, welche ein Verdrehen verhindern natürlich denkbar.3 shows this
Fig. 4b zeigt die maximale
Kanaldeckels möglich. da sonst der Einsatz die Schachtwand berühren würde.4a and 4b schematically illustrate a construction variant for setting the
Inclination of the manhole and manhole cover in two different positions. Here is the
The illustrations essentially show only one possible variant of the Invention. Changes are possible within the scope of the claims. So it can Invention also for manhole covers with a different cross-section, e.g. rectangular or square cross section. It could be a stake accordingly the cross section of the shaft with structures in the form of bulges or holes. so that a correspondingly shaped component can be placed. But it is also that Use of a cylindrical insert with an external thread as a conceivable structure which is a component with an outside rectangular or square shape corresponding to the Shaft and round shape on the inside with an internal thread or a groove or the like. according to the external thread of the insert. This means that even with a shaft rectangular or square cross section of the manhole cover by turning the The height of the insert can be adjusted continuously.
