Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine liegende, für das direkte oder indirekte Preßverfahren ausgebildete Metallstrangpresse, die mit zwei oder mehreren in einem Hauptzylinderholm (21) zusammengefaßten Zylinder (23) und in diesen bewegten Hauptkolben (24) mit Kolbenstangen (25) versehen ist, wobei die Kolbenstangen (25) mit einem ortsfest verankerten Gegenholm (22) verbunden sind, der Gegenholm (22) eines der Preßwerkzeuge und der in Richtung der Pressenachse zum Gegenholm (22) verschiebbare Hauptzylinderholm (21) das andere der Preßwerkzeuge trägt, und weitere Kolben-Zylinder-Einheiten (34) für den Leerhub und Rückzug des Hauptzylinderholms (21) vorgesehen sind.
