Claims (2)
- A rotary printing machine with a device for treating the sheet surfaces,wherein the device (33, 34, 35) is disposed between a last cyclically operating printing unit (5) and an apparatus (7) for conveying the sheets (2) on a sheet pile (8), the device including at least one stationary dryer (31 to 34) past which the sheets are guided by means of grippers,wherein at least one module (25, 26) composed of two rotating conveying elements (27, 28, 29, 30) having the same circumferential speed for transporting the sheets (2) along the device (33, 34, 35) for treating the sheet surface, and wherein said conveying elements (27, 28, 29, 30) carry grippers for gripping a respective leading edge of the sheets (2) to supply a respective sheet (2) to the module (25, 26) and to discharge a respective sheet from the module (25, 26), in accordance with a printing cycle, during rotation of the grippers,that the grippers of a respective conveying element (27, 28) disposed first along the conveying path of the sheets (2) are arranged on at least one gripper arm (39, 40), the sheets (2) otherwise being freely guided by means of guiding elements (52, 53),that the grippers of the conveying element (29, 30) disposed second along the conveying path of the sheets (2) are arranged on at least one gripper arm (39, 40), the sheets (2) resting on rotating, curved supporting elements arranged in circumferential direction between the gripper arms (39, 40),that inside the path of rotation of the grippers of the conveying element (27, 28) disposed first along the conveying path of the sheets (2) a dryer is provided, andthat outside the path of rotation of the grippers of the conveying element (29, 30) disposed second in the conveying path of the sheets (2) a further dryer is provided.
- The rotary printing machine according to claim 1,
characterized in that two serially disposed modules (25, 26) are provided,
and that, apart from a dryer acting outside the path of rotation, the conveying element (30) disposed last along the conveying path also comprises a powdering device (35) located downstream of said dryer (34).
