- a more convenient method of cleaning the utilized guide rollers is according to the invention attained in that the position - in the form x/y coordinates in a printing press related coordinate system - of each roller to be cleaned, the diameter of the roller, and the speed of the web are supplied to a computer for determining an appropriate roller braking sequence.
- This sequence may involve more than said maximum number of rollers, but for avoiding web break they are not allowed to be braked concurrently.
- the x/y coordinates and the diameter of each roller in the press can be pre-entered in the computer together with a corresponding ordinal number. For a certain set-up only the ordinal numbers for the rollers used need to be entered in the computer in the order they are engaged by the web.
- the length of washing solution on the web is preferably applied by means of an applicator remote from the rollers in the printing press.
- the above defined process means that washing solution in a certain length is applied on the web and transported to each roller to be cleaned.

Also positions of rollers and/or bars over which the web is lead but which are not to be cleaned have to be put into the computer. Further data put into the computer are the speed of the web 2 and the diameter of each roller 3 passed by the web 2. The winding angle of the web 2 around each roller 3 is computed by the computer.

- the web 2 moves with a given speed through the arrangement.
- the applicator 5 provides the web with a length of washing solution which is either fixed or appropriate with regard to the number of rollers to be cleaned. Based on the input data and the fact that only a limited number of rollers may be braked at a time for avoiding an otherwise occurring web break, the computer determines a certain brake sequence for the roller brakes, so that an optimal cleaning result is obtained. When an appropriate part of the washing solution length reaches a rotating roller 3, washing solution is transferred to the roller. In order to greatly improve the cleaning of the roller by a rubbing effect, the roller is then braked pulswise by its brake 4.
- the washing solution can then together with the dirt be removed by a subsequent dry part of the web 2.
- the cleaning and drying effect may be improved by pulsewise braking of the roller also at this stage, but the main cleaning effect is obtained in the first stage with the washing solution.

Claims (8)
- Procédé pour nettoyer des rouleaux (3) de guidage dans une presse à imprimer, dans lequelune bande (2) qui est guidée, selon un mouvement continu, sur ces rouleaux est pourvue, à un emplacement à l'écart des rouleaux, d'une longueur de solution de lavage ou de liquide de nettoyage,la longueur est transférée vers chaque rouleau, etchaque rouleau est freiné de manière impulsionnelle lorsqu'une partie appropriée de ladite longueur passe sur celui-ci,
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le nombre maximal de rouleaux (3) freinés de manière concurrente est déterminé pour éviter une rupture de bande due à une tension de bande accrue.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2,
caractérisé en ce que, initialement, les coordonnées x/y et le diamètre de chaque rouleau (3) de la presse sont entrés dans le calculateur conjointement avec un nombre ordinal correspondant, et en ce que seuls les nombres ordinaux des rouleaux utilisés dans une certaine configuration sont entrés dans le calculateur afin qu'ils soient engagés par la bande (2). - Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la longueur de solution de lavage, située sur la bande (2), est appliquée au moyen d'un applicateur (5) situé à l'écart des rouleaux (3) dans la presse à imprimer.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le rouleau (3) à nettoyer est freiné au moyen d'un frein (4).
- Dispositif pour nettoyer des rouleaux (3) de guidage dans une presse à imprimer, une bande (2) étant guidée sur ces rouleaux, comprenantun moyen (5) d'application situé à l'écart des rouleaux (3) à nettoyer, destiné à appliquer une longueur de solution de lavage, ou de liquide de nettoyage, à la bande (2) qui est en mouvement continu, etun frein (4) de rouleau à appliquer de manière impulsionnelle lorsqu'une partie appropriée de la longueur de solution de lavage passe sur le rouleau respectif,
un calculateur destiné à déterminer une séquence de freinage de rouleau appropriée au vu de données entrées concernant la position - sous la forme de coordonnées x/y dans un système de coordonnées se rapportant à une presse à imprimer - de chaque rouleau (3) à nettoyer, le diamètre du rouleau et la vitesse de la bande (2). - Dispositif selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que le moyen d'application sous la forme d'un applicateur (5) comporte un rouleau applicateur amené en contact avec la bande (2) lorsque la solution de lavage doit être appliquée à la bande.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que le frein (4) de rouleau est commandé électriquement, mis en oeuvre pneumatiquement et appliqué mécaniquement.
