Abstract

A fluid spray dispensing device is provided with a compressible reservoir (12) normally biased to an uncompressed state and defining a gas distribution opening. A housing (20) is connected to the tank. In one embodiment of the dispenser, a mixing chamber (60) is defined in a housing and communicates with the reservoir. A cartridge holder (72) is defined by the housing to receive a cartridge (74) which contains a fluid product and which has a seal which can be opened (76, 75). A fluid transfer passage establishes communication between the mixing chamber and the cartridge when the seal is opened. A spray dispensing orifice (64) is defined in the housing for dispensing fluid and gas from the mixing chamber as a spray.
