Abstract

554,723. Atomizers. ROSE, W. H. Dec. 30, 1941, No. 16786. [Classes 81 (i) and 81 (ii)] An atomizing device comprises an element adapted to be removably attached to a reservoir and consisting of a tubular element 22 having a small opening 24, a compressible bulb 15, a core 26 of absorbent material within and partly spaced from the walls of the member 22, and an attaching ring 20 for securing the element to a reservoir 10. Air from the bulb 15 passes through openings 18a into the spaces between the core 26 and the walls of member 22 and out through the opening 24. The reservoir 10 contains rings 13 and a basal block of absorbent material from which the core 26 is replenished with liquid when the atomizing element is in position.
