Abstract
686,006. Spray-producers. MEADOWS, S. J. Dec. 7, 1950 [Dec. 7, 1949], No. 31441/49. Class 69 (iii). An outer conical element 7 is screwed to an inner conical element 1 having one or more grooves along its periphery and such that one or more channels 10 are formed therebetween through which liquid is drawn and atomised by the passage of pressure air through one or more passages 8. The lower part of a casing 4 provides a liquid reservoir to which is secured an outlet nozzle 11, and a rubber bulb is secured to a neck 3. Alternatively, Fig. 4, the element 1 is integral with the casing, and the element 7 with peripheral slots 16 is screwed to the casing wall. Fig. 6 shows the element 7 integral with the casing with a screwed element 1, and one or more orifices 22 lead to an annular groove 21 and to passages 10. In a further embodiment, Fig. 8, an air passage 8a is formed in a casing part 23.
