Abstract

Operating a rolling plant incorporates one or more preliminary upsetting stands followed by a compact rolling group which is laterally offset and consists of two universal or duo stands (UG1, UG2) and an interposed upsetting stand (ZG). Blanks from the casting installation are fed directly (without intermediate storage) to the rolling plant. Within a predetermined time interval they are rolled into finished profiles and fed onto a laterally offset cooling bed (KB), after which new blanks enter into the compact rolling group. In cases where the time required for finish rolling is longer than the predetermined time interval (which depends on the output rate of the casting installation) a length of the finished product emerging from the compact rolling group is cut off and fed onto the cooling bed.

Description

The invention relates to a method for rolling profiled Rolling strands in a roll stand arrangement consisting of a first and a second universal scaffold or duo scaffold and one between these scaffolds arranged intermediate compression frame, behind which an outfeed roller table is arranged laterally to this arranged cooling bed, in which the Pre-profile rolled strands from a continuous casting device in one, of whose Power exiting a certain time cycle, fed to the roll stand arrangement, in a plurality of stitches and reversing stitches are rolled onto the Spout roller table applied and from this to a laterally arranged cooling bed getting deported.

In this known method, this points behind the compact rolling group arranged cooling bed on a transport width that the length of the finished rolled Corresponds to rolling stock. This arrangement allows the rolling mill to be timed to operate continuously with the continuous casting device when the from the rolling mill performed the shaping of the preliminary profile in the finished rolled strand same or a shorter period of time, which also the continuous casting device needs to create a preliminary profile.

With decreasing cross section and correspondingly decreasing weight per The unit of length of the finished strand to be formed is the temporal performance of the Roll stand arrangement smaller, d. H. for the finish rolling of profiled Rolls of rolled material are required the more time, the smaller the finished profile cross-sections to be achieved are because a correspondingly increasing number of Stitches and reversing stitches are required in the compact rolling group, and by a certain profile size, the performance of the roll stand arrangement is not sufficient more from processing the production of the continuous caster in time. It then need elaborate interim storage, of the continuous casting produced pre-profiles. The mentioned from the Continuous casting device predetermined period of time between, by this successively applied pre-profiles therefore sets for the size of the with Compact rolling group of millable finished cross sections a limit. Smaller, below finished profiles within this limit cannot be rolled.

The invention has for its object to eliminate this limit and the Possibility to create profile cross-sections with the rolling mill described to roll whose size is below this limit.

The solution to this problem is that the finished rolled on the Roll-out run of rolled material with a front section next to it Brought cooling bed, divided in front of this and the divided front section on the Cooling bed applied, and, immediately afterwards, the rear section of the Rolled material strand also transported next to the cooling bed and on this are applied and that during the first application process the coming from the continuous casting device following pre-profile rolling stock in the Roll stand arrangement introduced and the rolling of which is started.

Already with the beginning and during this postponement of the rear section can then already be the next one coming from the continuous casting device Introduced pre-profile strand in the compact rolling group and reversing in this be rolled because the run-out roller table has now been cleared faster than was the case with the known rolling process. The rolling of the the following previous profile can already begin if the previous one Rolling is not yet complete, d. H. for each other overlapping rolling processes in the compact rolling group stands absolutely more time and thus the possibility of increasing the number of stitches available it in turn allows smaller ones that are beyond the size limit mentioned Roll cross sections.

As the invention further provides, the described method can also be different so that the finished rolled, placed on the outlet roller table Rolled material strand with a rear section placed next to the cooling bed, behind this divided and the divided rear applied to the cooling bed and immediately afterwards the front section of the rolled material strand through the Discharge roller table back next to the cooling bed, be applied to this, and that during the first application process the one from the Continuous casting device coming following pre-profile rolling stock in the Roll stand arrangement introduced and the rolling of which is started.

The invention is explained using the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing. Show in the drawing

Fig. 2
the top view of a differently designed rolling mill, also in a schematic representation.

Bei der Ausbildung nach Fig. 1 besteht die Walzgerüstanlage aus dem Zuführrollgang R1, der, aus den Universalgerüsten UG1 und UG2 und dem zwischen diesen angeordneten Zwischengerüst bestehenden Kompaktwalzgruppe, dem dieser nachgeordneten Abfuhrrollgang R2 und der seitlich dieses Abfuhrrollgangs R2 und seitlich der Walzlinie WL angeordneten Kühlbett KB sowie einer vor dem Kühlbett KB befindlichen Trenneinrichung TR.1, the roll stand system consists of the Feed roller table R1, which, from the universal stands UG1 and UG2 and the existing compact rolling group between these intermediate stands, which this downstream discharge roller table R2 and the side this Discharge roller table R2 and the cooling bed KB arranged on the side of the rolling line WL as well a separating device TR located in front of the cooling bed KB.

The mill stand is operated in such a way that the first one PSTI finished rolling strand leaving the compact rolling group on the Removal roller table R2 is moved in front of the cooling bed and brought to a standstill. Then, with the help of the separating device TR, the KB in front of the cooling bed lying first length section PSTI 'separated and applied to the cooling bed. Then the second is still on the discharge roller table R2 Length section PSTI "in front of the cooling bed KB and also on this upset. In the meantime, the following became (not shown) Preliminary profile created by short reversing stitches next, in broken lines indicated rolling stock strand PSTII on the discharge roller table R2 applied and divided accordingly after its finish rolling and the The resulting lengths are applied to the cooling bed.

Mit dem folgenden Walzgutstrang PSTII wird entsprechend der bei Fig. 1 geschilderten Weise verfahren; auch hier mit der Maßgabe, daß zunächst der hintere Längenabschnitt PSTI" und dann der vordere Längenabschnitt PSTI nach vorherigem Rücktransport auf das Kühlbett KB aufgebracht werden.2 corresponds in principle to that of FIG Fig. 1 with the proviso that the cooling bed KB in one, approximately the length of a Length section of a divided rolling stock correspondingly smaller Distance from the compact rolling group is arranged, and the separating device TR here, seen in the WL rolling line, behind the cooling bed. The one from the Compact roller group emerging, lying on the discharge roller table R2 Rolled material strand PSTI is here, in front of the cooling bed KB on the discharge roller table R2 lying separated with the separator TR and then, unlike the 1 first of the rear, seen in the direction of transport Length section PSTI "is applied to the cooling bed KB second length section PSTI 'on the roller table R2 against the rolling direction retracted, brought in front of the cooling bed KB and pushed onto this. With the following strand PSTII is corresponding to that described in FIG. 1 Proceed wisely; also here with the proviso that the rear Length PSTI "and then the front length PSTI after previous return transport are applied to the cooling bed KB.
