Claims (6)
- Rolling mill (1) for hot rolling metal, particularly aluminium, with a hot strip train (3) with a pre-rolling train (4) and a finishing rolling train (5), wherein the pre-rolling train (4) is constructed as a tandem train in which the rolling stock is rolled in tandem operation with participation in common of at least two pre-rolling stands (8, 9) arranged in succession, that the finishing rolling train (5) as tandem train comprises at least two finishing rolling stands (11, 12) arranged in succession, by which in tandem operation there is rolling with simultaneous participation of the respective finishing rolling stands (11, 12), that as seen in rolling direction a respective coiler (15, 14) is arranged in front of and behind the finishing rolling train (5), and that the pre-rolling tandem train (4) operates in reversing manner, characterised in that the pre-rolling train (4) together with the finishing train (5) operates as tandem train, wherein there is rolling in tandem operation with participation in common of the stands of the pre-rolling and finishing train, and that the finishing rolling train (5) operates in reversing manner.
- Rolling mill according to claim 1, characterised in that the pre-rolling tandem train (4) comprises respective two-roll stands (two-high stands) (8, 9).
- Rolling mill according to claim 1 or 2, with the following layout:- oven area (2) for feeding heat to a pre-product prior to the shaping,- heavy-duty cutting shears (6),- edging stand (7),- two pre-rolling stands (8, 9) which are arranged in succession and which, in tandem operation, operate in reversing manner,- flying shears (10),- a first coiler (15),- two finishing rolling stands (11, 12) which are arranged in succession and which, in tandem operation, operate in reversing manner and- a second coiler (14).
- Method of hot rolling metal, particularly aluminium, wherein the pre-rolling product, particularly an aluminium bar (17), is pre-rolled and subsequently rolled to finished state in a hot strip train (3) by a pre-rolling and a finish rolling train (4, 5), that the pre-product is pre-rolled in the pre-rolling train (4) itself, which is equipped as a tandem train with at least two pre-rolling stand (8, 9) arranged in succession, in tandem operation with participation in common of the respective pre-rolling stands, and that the pre-rolled rolling product (19) is rolled to finished state in the finishing rolling train (5), which is equipped as a tandem train with at least two finishing stands (11, 12) arranged in succession, particularly in a rolling mill (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the rolling product is rolled in the pre-rolling train (4) and the finishing rolling train (5) together in tandem operation and that the rolling out of the pre-product in the preliminary stands (8, 9) as well as the subsequent rolling to finished state in reversing manner is carried out in tandem operation of the finishing rolling train (5).
- Method according to claim 4, characterised by rolling out the pre-product in the preliminary stands (8, 9) as well as entry of the rolling product into the finishing rolling train (5) with simultaneous participation of all stands of the pre-rolling and finishing rolling trains (4, 5) (step IIa).
- Method according to claim 5, characterised by the following steps:- transport of a hot pre-product (17), particularly an aluminium bar, into a pre-rolling tandem train (4),- pre-rolling in reversing manner by the pre-rolling stands (8, 9) in tandem operation (step I),- intermediate cutting of the pre-rolling product (19), particularly of the aluminium plate, by means of heavy-duty shears (6),- rolling out to a predetermined pre-rolling thickness of the pre-rolling product (19),- cutting of the pre-rolling product (19) by flying shears (10),- winding up the strip (13), which has run through the finishing train (5) operating in tandem operation, by a second downstream coiler (14),- reversing the direction of movement of the rolling stands (11, 12) and repeated drawing of the strip (13) into the finishing rolling train (5),- winding up on an upstream coiler (15) with simultaneous unwinding from the second coiler (14) and- single or multiple performance of the rolling step in the finishing rolling train (step IIb).
