Die Erfindung betrifft einen eine Lampenfassung für Zweistift-Leuchtstofflampen oder für Betriebsmittel mit zwei Kontaktstiften enthaltenden Montagekasten mit einem topfartigen Anbaugehäuse. Der Boden des Anbaugehäuses trägt die im Inneren des Anbaugehäuses angeordnete Lampenfassung, welche einen zur Öffnung des Anbaugehäuses hin offenen Einführschlitz für die Kontaktstifte aufweist. Die Lampenfassung enthält außerdem mit den Kontaktstiften zusammenwirkende Kontaktelemente, die in den Führungsschlitz ragen und mit Kontaktmitteln zum Kontaktieren wenigstens eines anzuschliessenden elektrischen Leiters versehen sind. Ein solcher Montagekasten ist bspw. in der DE-U1-29 50 54 51 beschrieben. Er findet typischerweise Verwendung bei Deckeneinbauleuchten, die mit Leuchtstofflampen bestückt sind, deren Länge großer ist als die Länge des Leuchtenkastens. Das bedeutet, daß bei der Montage die Lampenfassung außerhalb des Anbaugehäuses an die elektrischen Zuleitungen angeschlossen und sodann in das Anbaugehäuse eingeschoben und dort am Boden fixiert werden muß. Dabei müssen die häufig in der Nähe der Anschlußklemmen abgebogenen, isolierten Zuleitungen durch den Innenraum des Anbaugehäuses herausgeführt werden, was störend ist und außerdem die Gefahr in sich birgt, daß die Leitungsisolation unter der Einwirkung der von der Leuchtstofflampe in der Nähe ihres Sockels abgegebenen Wärme in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wird. In dieser Vormontagestellung können von außen her, durch seitlich an dem Anbaukasten vorgesehene Leitereinstecköffnungen Leiter an den Kontaktstellen der Lampenfassung kontaktiert werden, worauf das Anbaugehäuse in seine endgültige Betriebsstellung gedrückt wird. Die isolierten Anschlußleitungen liegen dabei auf der Außenseite des Anschlußgehäuses, wo sie in entsprechenden Vertiefungen aufgenommen sind. Alternativ kann die Anordnung auch derart getroffen sein, daß das die Fassungen tragende Bodenteil des Anschlußgehäuses für die Kontaktierung der Anschlußleitungen zunächst im Bereiche der Öffnungsberandung des montierten Anschlußgehäuses angeordnet ist und anschliessend seine endgültige Stellung in der Tiefe des Anbaugehäuse überführt und dort mit dessen Seitenwänden verriegelt wird.
