Description

The present invention relates to a device joint intended to ensure the connection between at least one end of a gripping element such as handle or handle and a handbag or similar baggage, via a connecting ring said wall of the bag, eyelet in which it articulates freely in rotation.

The major drawback of this type of device is in the fact that the ring is in a known manner closed on itself and articulates freely and in all directions in the eyelet in the manner of two links of a chain. It follows a rapid deterioration of contact surfaces of the ring and the eyelet leading non only to the aesthetic degradation of the whole but which can sometimes going, in case of intense use, to the breaking of the ring by wear.

Such a drawback is of course badly tolerated by manufacturers of this type of item and all the more so when it these are luxury items such as high-end handbags for example, who must have a certain outfit in the time for customer satisfaction and at the same time for image brand of the creator and manufacturer.

The object of the present invention is to achieve this objective by providing a solution to the above problem.

To this end, it relates to an articulation device intended to ensure the connection between at least one end of an element grip such as handle or handle and a handbag or similar baggage, via a ring connecting said wall of the bag, eyelet in which it freely rotates, characterized in that the connecting ring is initially opened and has a subsequent closing member which is constituted by a removable hinge pin capable of being previously inserted freely in a corresponding sheath, fixedly attached to inside the eyelet, seen from a cooperation of its ends free with the corresponding ones from the open ring, after that it has been placed in a jumper on the edge of the wall of the bag eyelet look.

In this way it is easily understood that the axis articulation, articulates freely in one direction only transverse and no longer in all directions as before known, which limits the aforementioned deterioration. These having no in any case only inside the sheath, so no visible and ineffective on the external aspect of the eyelet and the ring. This is likely to keep the bag impeccable appearance in time.

In addition, the removable hinge pin constitutes a part wear in itself and can be easily replaced if necessary without no intervention on the other elements.

The invention also relates to the features which will emerge during the description which follows, and which should be considered in isolation or in any combination possible techniques.

  • Figure 4 shows a cross-sectional view of a hinge device according to Figure 2, after mounting on the bag.
The handbag partially shown in the figures comprises at least one wall 1 on which is intended to be fixed a gripping element in this case a handle 2 by through an articulation device 3 generally designated able to cooperate with an eyelet 4 attached to the wall 1 of the bag.

The articulation device 3 comprises a ring 5 connecting the free end of the loop 2 to the eyelet 4 in which it articulates freely.

According to the invention the connecting ring 5 is initially open 0 and has a subsequent closing device which is constituted by a removable hinge pin 6 able to be previously inserted freely in a corresponding sheath 7, fixedly fixed inside the eyelet 4, for a cooperation of its free ends 6a, 6b with those 5a, 5b of the open ring 5, after it has been placed in a jumper on the edge of the wall 1 of the bag opposite eyelet 4.

Preferably axis 6 of articulation and closing of the ring 5 on itself is a contiguous pump axis by a tubular body 6c, of length L substantially corresponding to that L 'of the opening 0 of the ring 5 and to inside which body is housed a compression spring 8 acting in push F on two opposite studs 6a, 6b. These are arranged at each of its ends, and slide freely from on either side of the hollow body 6c, so that they can retract inside of it 6c to allow insertion of the hinge pin 6 in the opening 0 of the open ring 5 after passing through the sheath 7 secured to an internal part 4a eyelet 4, to anchor in two housing correspondents 9 and 10 formed at the ends 5a, 5b of said ring open 5, returning to their original position.

In order to facilitate the rotation of the axis 6 on itself inside the sheath 7 this is a section of tube cylindrical with an internal diameter greater than the diameter external of the hinge pin 6 which it receives.

As shown in the figures and more particularly Figure 4 the sleeve 7 is attached to the inside of the eyelet 4 of eccentrically, in an upper area of it.

The sheath 7 is attached to the eyelet 4 by the intermedium of welding points 11. Of course all other means such as bonding, or simultaneous obtaining of the sheath 7 with eyelet 4 by molding, could be considered.

According to the present exemplary embodiment the eyelet 4 is consisting of two parallel flanges 4b, 4c enclosing the wall 1 of the bag on either side of its faces 1a, 1b, and interconnected by a hollow cylindrical central hub 4d whose outer periphery 4e is intended to pass through a hole in the wall 1 of the bag and whose internal periphery 4f corresponds to that 4a of the eyelet 4 on which is fixed the sheath.

Finally the total thickness L "of the eyelet 4, the length L" ' of the sleeve 7 which is housed there, the length L of the hinge pin 6 and the length L 'of the opening 0 of the ring 5 are substantially identical to the required clearance.
