Claims (14)

  1. A holding fitting for a flap (16) hinged pivotally about a horizontal pivot axis at the top wall (14) of a cupboard, comprising:
    a) a two-armed bell crank lever (8) which can be hingedly connected to the carcass part of the cupboard and whose pivot axis lies between the lever arms (9, 10);
    b) wherein the free end of the longer lever arm (10) is guided in a rail (17) of the holding fitting which can be secured to the inside of the flap (16) at a right angle to the pivot axis;
    c) wherein one end of a resilient device (5, 12) of the holding fitting is hingedly connected to the shorter lever arm (9), said resilient device preferably consisting of a rod which can be moved out of and pressed into a spring-loaded cylinder by gas force or spring force, and whose other end can be hingedly connected to the furniture carcass;
    d) and wherein the shorter lever arm (9) of the two-armed bell crank lever (8) faces towards the interior of the cupboard in the closed state of the flap (16; 32),
    characterised in that

  7.   11. A holding fitting in accordance with either of claims 9 or 10, wherein an adjustment part (43) is displaceably guided on the shorter lever arm (45) and is provided with a bore (50) for the hinging of the resilient device (5).
  12. A holding fitting in accordance with claim 11, wherein the shorter lever arm (45) is provided with two elongate holes (46); wherein the adjustment part (43) encompasses the shorter lever arm (45) in a U shape; and wherein pins passing through the elongate holes (46) and guided in them are held in the limbs (47, 48) of the adjustment part (43).
