Abstract

A process for drying roof tile mouldings, especially green channelled tile mouldings, in a tunnel drying kiln involves laying the mouldings (1) flat in rows on drying frames (2); placing the drying frames spaced-apart in an inclined position on the kiln cars (3); and after drying, removing the drying frames from the kiln cars and swivelling then into a horizontal position. An installation used has equipment, associated with or downstream of a press, for loading rows of horizontal fresh tile mouldings (1) onto drying frames (2) which can be fixed onto tunnel kiln cars (3). It further includes equipment for tilting the frames (2) into an inclined position before placing on the kiln cars (3). Elements (3a) on the kiln cars (3) are used for arranging the inclined framed (2) so that the kiln cars can be loaded with raised inclined channelled tile mouldings (1) for transport (T) through the tunnel drying kiln, the individual frames being spaced apart in a removable arrangement on the kiln cars (3).

Description

The invention relates to a method and a system for drying roof tile moldings in a single-layer arrangement on molded carriers.

Up to now, individual H-cassettes, each of which only hold one roof tile molding, have been used in this technique. This results in cumbersome and time-consuming handling as well as a space-consuming, expensive and ultimately hardly economical system.

The invention has for its object to provide a simpler and more economical method and a corresponding system for single-layer drying of roof tile moldings, which allows the product quality known from H-cassette systems, but the disadvantages of H-cassette systems avoids.

According to the invention, this is achieved by a method according to claim 1 and a system according to claim 6. Advantageous further developments result from the subclaims.

With the method according to the invention and the system according to the invention, green folding roof tiles can now be warped with less warpage, in a simpler and more economical manner than with known H-cassette systems for the drying of roof tiles. largely free of distortion, can be dried - as was previously only possible using H cassettes that support the blank in a form-fitting manner.

A correct and good support for interlocking roof tiles (see drawing) - the lateral edge areas of which are known to lie at different levels in the roof tile cross-section - can be easily achieved by providing corresponding support projections and / or depressions for each individual blank on or in a large number of blanks receiving dryer frame given / possible.

The invention is characterized by the group-wise and thus particularly efficient loading of the dryer car for rapid drying in a vertical single layer (or possibly also a double layer) with good, i.e. all-round air circulation as well as efficient and simple dryer car unloading. The special thing is that the green roof tiles are placed individually and flat on a dryer frame, subsequently erected with it into an inclined position inclined from the vertical and placed in such a position on the dryer cart - and can be unloaded in the reverse manner.

The inclined position of the loaded dryer frame enables intensive top and bottom flow of the roof tile moldings to be dried. Automatic blown molding on both sides results from both the carriage transport and the drying air flowing through a tunnel dryer according to the countercurrent principle. The optimum angle of inclination between the back of the roof tile and the transport plane / horizontal depends on the roof tile material and is selected so that on the one hand good stability within the green interlocking tile without risk of bending or deformation and on the other hand easy sliding during drying shrinkage is guaranteed - this angle is advantageously approximately 50 - 80 °.

Figure imgb0001
Because of the preferred overlap between handling units which are spaced one behind the other in the dryer carriage transport direction
Figure imgb0001
loaded dryer frames "results in an economical use of space on each dryer car - the degree of such overlap depends on the shape dimension in the height direction of the dryer, the angle of inclination of the inclined position to the vertical as well as the distance dimension required for safe loading and unloading between rows one behind the other.

According to the invention, fresh interlocking roof tile moldings 1 are laid flat and forming a row on dryer frames 2/2 ', which for each molding 1 has a support surface (projections and / or depressions) which is generally known from the H-cassette web and is adapted to the underside of the roof tile (projections and / or depressions) also has openings for the hot gas causing the drying.

Fig. 1). Widerlager 2a an den Trocknerrahmen 2,2' verhindern das Abrutschen von Falzdachziegel-Formlingen 1.The occupied and transported to the dryer car loading point dryer frame 2 are successively at a distance and obliquely to the vertical, i.e. H. in an inclined position, arranged on dryer car 3,3 '. The material to be dried in a transverse row (2 - 6 m) can overlap that of the neighboring transverse row in the transport plane - thus also in a top view (cf. Fig. 1). Abutments 2a on the dryer frame 2, 2 'prevent slipped roof tile moldings 1 from slipping off.

Bei der Ausführung gemäß Fig. 2 und 3 weist der Trocknerwagen 3' zur Vertikalen geneigte Haltearme 3b auf, die unten vorspringende Widerlager 4 für die Trocknerrahmen 2' besitzen.1, the dryer frames 2 are provided on both narrow sides with plug-in receptacles (tubes, sleeves, eyelets or the like) 2b, which are assigned to the dryer car 3, inclined receptacle elements (thorns, pins or the like). 3a cooperate. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 2 and 3, the dryer carriage 3 'has holding arms 3b which are inclined to the vertical and which have abutments 4 projecting below for the dryer frame 2'.

Instead of the preferred single-row occupancy, a two-row occupancy of dryer frames 2, 2 'to be inclined is also possible according to the principle of the invention.

The angle enclosed between the back of the molding and the horizontal is preferably approximately 60-80 °.

Each dryer frame 2, 2 'accommodates a molding group and has on one long side a counter bearing, numbered 4, for the molding 1, in particular its ridge or head ends which cannot be seen after the roof covering. The frame length is preferably chosen so that two dryer frames 2, 2 'are arranged next to one another on the carriage width.

Beim 2. In the second exemplary embodiment, the dryer frames 2 'are by means of a charger, numbered 5 as a whole, which can be pivoted about a pivot axis 6 from the horizontal and can be moved at an altitude in an inclined arrangement (see the movement arrows in FIG. 2, from which the lowering, Procedure and lifting is evident). The dryer frames 2 'are removed in the reverse movement.
