Description
The invention relates to a device for packaging a liquid product and of diffusion and application of this product in the form of foam or gel. This device used in particular for the diffusion and application of fixing foam for hair, hair removal foam, shaving foam or shaving gel self-foaming.
Generally, conventional devices for diffusing liquid product under foam form have a pressurized container. This container is topped with a dispensing head comprising a dispensing valve, provided with a control, and a distributor. This body includes a tip on which a terminal grid is snapped on.
When mechanical pressure is exerted on the dispensing member, the latter delivers the product in the form of foam after passing through the grid. The presence of this nozzle fitted with its grid allows metered and localized distribution of the foam.
Unfortunately this known device causes the presence of foam residue on the grid, after removal of the foam, due to the continuation of the exit foam in the absence of mechanical pressure on the dispensing member.
Furthermore, the use of such a foam dispenser requires the use of a additional badger type auxiliary applicator for shaving foam or just your hand for shaving foam, hair fixing foam or depilatory foam, which increases the use of this dispenser.
We also know diffusers-applicators of product in the form deodorant type liquid having a constitution close to that of the devices previous, in which the dispensing member comprises a sintered material, porous and is free of grid. Such a device is notably described in the document EP-A-0 655 208. By mechanical pressure on the sintered material, the liquid product is ejected through the valve in the center of the dispensing member and diffuses, by capillary action, towards the outside of this organ. The latter, which is then impregnated with micro-droplets of liquid product, can be used as applicator on the skin. Unfortunately, this type of device does not allow to obtain from a liquid product a foam distributed uniformly over the application surface. In particular, the product is always extracted in the form liquid.
It is also known from document US-A-4 089 609 a diffuser-applicator device shaving foam corresponding to the preamble of the claim 1, and comprising as an applicator member a sponge, pierced with two longitudinal channels. Using this type of applicator has the drawback of a non-uniform distribution of the product over the applicator and a rough contact on the skin. In addition, the sponge is in elastically compressible material, which during application can cause blockage of the channels, rendering them inoperative.
Also, there is a need for a new packaging device, distribution and application which allows both to have a soft contact on the skin thanks to an appropriate applicator, a channeled distribution of sparkling product when in particular mechanical pressure is exerted on the applicator member and a product outlet stop when this pressure ceases mechanical. This overcomes the drawbacks of the state of the art linked to the nature and / or structure of the applicator member and / or of the device in its together.
The subject of the invention is therefore a device for packaging, distributing and application of a product packaged in liquid form and distributed in the form foam or gel, comprising a pressurized container containing the product, a control valve and a product application member, said member having an external application surface made of porous material and comprising, in addition to the pores, at least one through channel the organ so as to lead to the external application surface in the form at least one orifice, and to allow the product to exit, in the form of foam or gel, on the application surface, in response to actuation of the valve, characterized in that the external application surface is in one non-deformable material. The pores of the material forming the applicator member make it possible to give the application to the skin, the softness and the comfort required by such application. They also allow a uniform distribution of the product over the applicator.
Advantageously, the channel passes through the entire thickness of the organ, the thickness of the member being measured along an axis A substantially perpendicular to the surface of application.
This new device has the advantage of having a large and localized flow of foam or gel at the outlet of the applicator member. This device also allows applying the foam or gel directly to the skin as out of the container. Another advantage of this device is to allow channeled and homogeneous diffusion of the foam or gel.
The product leaving the container can be in the form of gel, foam or self-foaming gel. To ensure the exit of the product, the container contains, in in addition, a propellant dissolved or separated from the liquid such as nitrogen, a liquefied hydrocarbon or air. The liquid may also contain an agent foam expansion like isobutane. The use of a propellant allows in addition, the contribution of freshness on the skin.
De préférence, ils sont répartis symétriquement autour de l'axe A.Preferably, the device comprises several orifices advantageously distributed uniformly over the surface of the applicator member. They can be located at center of the surface. Preferably, they are distributed symmetrically around axis A.
The size of the orifices can be between 0.4 mm and 6 mm, and preferably between 0.8 mm and 2 mm. The orifices may have a particular shape. Their size and shape make it possible to obtain, at the outlet of the applicator member, a foam or gel for example in the form of strips, threads or more exactly spaghetti.
The external surface of the applicator member may be made of a material sintered, porous chosen from so-called “soft” materials such as ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) or among synthetic resins such as polyethylenes high or low density, polypropylenes or polyvinyl fluorides. In variant, the applicator member can be made of rigid synthetic foam with open cells.
The porosity of this material can be between 1 µm and 300 µm and preferably between 10 µm and 100 µm.
To be able to apply the product gently, the organ application has, advantageously, an application surface whose roughness mean is chosen from a range from 0.5 µm to 100 µm, and preferably in a range from 6 µm to 50 µm.
Une combinaison particulière de la taille et de la forme géométrique des orifices de sortie avec des valeurs de porosité du matériau fritté permet d'adapter l'organe d'application au type de produit extrait du récipient, qu'il soit un produit moussant ou automoussant (gel ou mousse).A particular combination of the size and the geometric shape of the orifices output with porosity values of the sintered material allows to adapt the applicator to the type of product extracted from the container, whether it is a product foaming or self-foaming (gel or foam).
The device according to the invention can be used for diffusion, for applying foam to shave and depilatory foam or fixing foam for the hair.
The applicator can be either fixed directly on the valve and more specially on the valve control rod or either using a support mounted on the valve stem.
The invention consists, apart from the arrangements set out above, in one number of other provisions which will be explained below, with regard to of embodiments described with reference to the appended figures, but which do not are in no way limiting.

The device according to the invention makes it possible to obtain a quantity and a quality of sufficient and homogeneous foam, which can be spread easily and smoothly over the skin by means of the dome. This dome makes it possible to overcome in particular a badger in the case of a shaving foam.
In FIGS. 2 and 3, the elements identical or playing roles analogous to elements described in Figure 1 are designated by the same references digital. Their description will not be repeated or will be made succinctly.
Avantageusement, on monte
Figure 2 shows a device which differs from that of Figure 1 by the fact
that the dispensing
Figure 3 shows a device which differs from that of Figure 1 by the fact
that the
Parts A to H of Figure 4 show different representations of the surface

Thus, on part A, the
On part B, the
On part C, the
cercles concentriques centrés sur l'axe A.On part D, the
On part F, the
On part G, the
On part H, the
On parts A to E, the application surface is circular, while on parts F to H, it is rectangular.
The output of a product in self-foaming form is facilitated when the device according to Figure 1 in one of the schematic representations of the surface 9a of the applicator member according to parts A to E of FIG. 4.
