Description

The invention relates to a lower knife for one with an upper knife equipped shaving head of a dry shaver, with several, in parallel Knife blades provided to each other, which by means of an elongated profile bar, incisions provided essentially transversely to its longitudinal extent are formed, the ends of the incisions being arcuate and one from the apex of each arcuate end of each cut outgoing, leading towards an apex line of the profile bar Reduction in the wall thickness of each knife blade is provided.

A lower knife of the type mentioned is known - see operating instructions for the "Braun Flex Control 4515 universal" dry shavers, Braun Flex Control 4520 universal "and" Braun Flex Control 4525 universal ", Printed notice 5-585-075 / XI-91, page 3. With these known dry shavers are on a coupling piece two from an elongated, tubular Profiled manufactured lower knife arranged. The knife blades of the respective lower knives are by means of an apex line of the tubular Profiled bars formed from incisions. The by parallel to each other Running incisions made knife blades parallel to each other running side walls, whereby the wall thickness of a knife blade up uniformly thick to the arcuate ends of each incision is. The end of each incision is semicircular a radius that is half the distance between two neighboring blades corresponds to each other. In the case of lower knives made from profiled bars the wall thickness of a knife blade 0.2 mm and above. Wall thicknesses of Knife blades of the size mentioned adversely affect the cutting behavior from lower knives.

A lower knife of the type mentioned is also known from EP-A-80303.

The object of the invention is to determine the cutting behavior of a lower knife to improve the type mentioned at the beginning.

According to the invention, this object is at the beginning of a lower knife mentioned type in that the reduction in wall thickness D from Vertex SP extends to the apex line SL.

Another solution to the problem of the invention is that the Reduction of the wall thickness D from the apex SP over an area B extends, which is greater than half the distance A, the two adjacent knife blades take each other in the area of the apex line SL, and that the geometric Cross-sectional shape of area B by means of a series of several Radii is determined.

Another solution to the problem of the invention is that the Reduction of the wall thickness D from the apex SP over an area B extends, the geometric cross-sectional shape is substantially parabolic is trained.

Another solution to the problem of the invention is that the Reduction of the wall thickness D from the apex SP over an area B extends, the geometric cross-sectional shape substantially elliptical is trained.

The solutions according to the invention have a number of advantages. The compared to the known lower knife mentioned above about the half distance A of two neighboring blades going in the direction Vertex line SL of the profile bar provided reduction in the wall thickness D of the Knife blades according to the invention has the consequence that bottom knives with wall thicknesses D of the knife blades less than 0.2 mm, less than 0.15 mm and even smaller than 0.1 mm, can be manufactured without risk of breakage. Still has this reduction achieved according to the invention over a larger range Wall thickness D of the knife blades with a smaller covering of the knife blades the cutting holes of the upper knife of a shaving head, whereby the Threading the hair into the cutting holes of the upper knife considerably is favored. In this way, the cutting result of the dry shaver significantly improved. The, starting from the apex line SL one Knife blade to the apex SP of an incision caused enlargement the wall thickness D of a knife blade prevents breakage of the knife blades under cutting load while using the dry shaver. In addition, it has been shown that by the inventions over a larger area B provided reduction in the wall thickness D of Knife blade towards the top line SL, greater flexibility of the knife blade sets as compared to a knife blade whose wall thickness D from the apex line SL to the circular end of an incision has a uniform thickness, is the case. This leads to one more favorable vibration behavior of the knife blades of a lower knife after the Invention and improved cutting performance of the lower knife in Interacting with the top knife of a shaving head of a dry shaver. Another advantage according to the inventions results from the the reduction in the wall thickness D of the knife blades derivable geometric Cross-sectional shapes at incisions which, due to the shape, lack corners and / or Kink lines in the respective side walls of the knife blades make cleaning easy the knife blades of adhering hair dust, for example by means of a Brush, allow.

According to a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the Incision in at least two areas B and C with different geometrical Cross-sectional shapes is divided.

In a further embodiment of the invention it is provided that the geometric The cross-sectional shape of area C is essentially rectangular is. As an alternative to this embodiment, the cross-sectional shape of the area C can also be substantially trapezoidal.

To ensure that when the knife blades are loaded during One embodiment distinguishes itself from the shaving when there are no breaks in the knife blades according to the invention by arch-like transitions of different geometric cross-sectional shapes of adjacent areas B and C out.

Very little coverage of the knife blades in the area of the top line SL with the cutting holes of an upper knife is achieved in that the wall thickness D of a knife blade formed by two incisions in the area of Vertex line is formed smaller than 0.15 mm. The depth is preferably the incisions from the apex line at least half the diameter of the Profile bar.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the profile bar is made of formed a hollow body.

In the following description and the drawings are some exemplary embodiments shown.

Fig. 2 zeigt eine Ausführungsform eines Untermessers 1. The lower knife 1 consists of an elongated, that is, transverse to the longitudinal extension of the dry shaver 4 extending profile bar 6. The profile bar 6 can be made from one solid rod - see Fig. 10- or from a rod-shaped hollow body, for. B. a tube - see Fig. 2a - or from a U-shaped rod-shaped Body - see Fig. 8 or Fig. 9 - exist. The cross-sectional shape of the profile bar 6 can be circular, square, T-shaped, double T-shaped or U-shaped be.

An embodiment of a profile bar 6 for producing a lower knife 1 is explained in more detail below with reference to FIG. 2a. In this embodiment the profile rod 6 consists of a tubular body with an outer tube diameter 6.5 mm and a tube inside diameter of approx. 4.4 mm, i.e. with a tube thickness of approx. 1 mm. In this tubular Profile bar 6 are transverse to its longitudinal extent, from a crest line SL a plurality of incisions 7, for example by means of a grinding process, introduced, whereby the knife blades 5 are formed. The ends 8 of the Incisions 7 are arcuate, with the outermost point on the Arc line is called the apex SP - see Fig. 3-. Starting from one, for all knife blades 5 common apex line SL, is the depth of the Incisions 7 from this apex line SL to the apex SP of the arc trained ends of the incisions 7 dimensioned such that they approximately corresponds to half the outer diameter D2 of the tubular profile rod 6. On the side of the tubular profile bar opposite the apex line SL 6, a coupling element 14 is attached for the purpose of transmitting the drive movement on the lower knife 1. Details of the knife blade formation or the wall thickness D which can be derived from the geometric shape of the incisions 7 Knife blades 5 of the lower knife shown in FIGS. 2 and 2a are shown in FIG. 3 and are described in more detail below.

The Wall thickness D of each knife blade 5 is characterized by a respective apex SP of an arcuate end 8 of an incision 7 outgoing, increasing towards the apex line SL of the profile bar 6 Reduction of the wall thickness D of a knife blade 5, whereby this Reduction of the wall thickness D from the apex SP to the apex line SL extends. From the reduction in the wall thickness D from the apex SP in A corresponding increasing magnification results in the direction of the apex line SL the gap width of an incision 7 from its end 8 to the apex line SL. The geometric cross-sectional shape of the incision 7 is in the embodiment 3 over the leading from the apex SP to the apex line SL Area B divided into two segments S1 and S2, each different Have cross-sectional shapes. That the end 8 of the incision 7th forming segment S1 has a semi-circular cross-sectional shape known per se and the adjoining segment S2 has an adjoining, trapezoidal cross-sectional shape ending in the area of the apex line SL on. The inclination of the adjoining the semicircular arc of segment S1 trapezoidal sides that run obliquely outwards are approximately 1 °. By means of a such a combination of different geometric cross-sectional shapes of incisions 7 provided parallel to each other in a tubular Profile bar 6, starting from the vertex SP, is an edge-free or shoulder-free or kink-free reduction in the wall thickness D of the knife blades 5 achieved a particularly thin wall thickness D. By means of such a geometric Cross-sectional shape of the incision 7, it is possible to use knife blades 5 a wall thickness D <0.2 mm and even knife blade thicknesses <0.1 mm, without these knife blades 5 in the course of manufacture, and also later when using one equipped with such a lower knife 1 Cancel dry shaver 4.

Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment of a lower knife 1 with one of of the embodiment according to FIG. 3 deviating geometric cross-sectional shape the incisions 7 and thus the dependent, over a larger Area reducing the wall thickness D of the knife blades 5. The area B starting from the apex SP of an incision 7 is parabolic. The next one, up to the crest line SL leading area C is rectangular. This rectangular shape of the Area C has the consequence that all side walls 21 and 22 of the knife blades 5, run parallel to one another over the area C. Starting from The parabolic region B extends over apex SP a length that is greater than the dimension of the distance A. When the lower knife is applied 1 on an upper knife 2 is the cutting angle α 90 ° while it 3 due to the trapezoidal geometry of segment S2 slightly larger than 90 ° -z. B. 91 ° - is formed.

Fig. 5 zeigt eine weitere Ausführungsform eines Untermessers 1, bei dem beispielsweise abweichend von der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 4, die geometrische Querschnittsform des Bereiches B zum Zwecke der Verminderung der Wanddicke D über einen halben Abstand A hinaus, den zwei benachbarte Messerblätter 5 im Bereich der Scheitellinie SL zueinander einnehmen, ellipsenförmig ausgebildet ist.5 shows a further embodiment of a lower knife 1, in which, for example deviating from the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the geometric Cross-sectional shape of area B for the purpose of reducing the wall thickness D beyond half a distance A, the two adjacent knife blades 5 in Take up the area of the apex line SL to each other, is elliptical.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, for example, two are by three incisions 7 knife blades 5 shown. Deviating from those in FIG. 4 and Fig. 5 illustrated and described embodiments, is in the 6 shows the geometric cross-sectional shape of the region B by means of a series of radii, of which here, for example two radii R1 and R2 are shown. The center of such Radii can both on the geometric cross-sectional shape of an incision 7 symmetry axis SA dividing into two congruent halves, as well as outside this axis of symmetry SA, see radius R2. By means of a string a larger number of radii of different sizes R1, R2, R3 ... RN, see embodiment according to FIG. 7, is an edge-free or kink-free or heel-free, that is, arcuate course of the side walls 21, 22 of the Knife blades 5 over the direction of extension of area B from the apex SP guaranteed towards the top line SL.

The profile bar 6 is essentially of a U-shape forming walls W1, W2 and W3. The profile bar 6 has one curved cutting surface SF1, with a common apex line SL for all incisions made from this apex line SL into the profile bar 6 7. The curved wall W1 can, for example, have the shape of a Have semicircular arc or a parabola, the adjoining walls W2 and W3 are provided, for example, running parallel or obliquely to one another could be. By inserting itself from the top line SL to the Incisions 7 extending vertices SP with geometric cross-sectional shapes, as described in relation to FIGS. 2 to 7, result in knife blades 5 with one from the apex SP to the apex line SL of the profile bar leading, extending over a larger area Reduction in wall thickness D.

Fig. 9 shows a lower knife 1 made from a profile bar 6, one of which W-shaped walls W1, W2 and W3 are substantially perpendicular to each other are aligned. 8 is different in the embodiment 9, the wall W1 is made flat, thereby creating a flat cutting surface SF2 is formed, the center line as the apex line SL for the incisions 7 is provided.

2 bis 7, besteht die Ausführungsform nach Fig. 10 nicht aus einem Hohlkörper, sondern aus einem massiven Profilstab 6.Fig. 10 shows a further embodiment of a lower knife 1, which consists of a T-profile bar 6 is formed. From the level Cutting surface SF2 are several which penetrate the wall W1 and into which Wall W2 partially protruding incisions 7 are provided, of which Vertex line SL up to the apex SP of the respective incisions 7 reaching depth T at least half the diameter of the profile bar 6 is measured from the apex line SL to one opposite this outer wall of the profile bar 6. Different from the embodiments according to FIGS. 2 to 7, the embodiment according to FIG. 10 does not consist of a hollow body, but from a solid profile rod 6.
