- the activation of the machine therefore results in liquid condensate accumulating in the condenser vessel and the intervention after a short time of the protective pressure switch, indicating an anomalous situation.

- the breather opening 14 is connected, when the chamber is installed in the door and the door is closed, to a nozzle 35 having a seal 36, mounted on the front 1 of the machine.
- the opening 14 of the chamber 7 advantageously opens into the chamber through a section of pipe 38, or filling column, extending downwards to a convenient depth P.
- the assembly comprising the pipe 38, the nozzle 35, and the pipe 37 forms a syphon with one arm (formed by the pipe 37) of greater length.
- the liquid returned from the chamber accumulates rapidly in the condenser vessel and causes the intervention, practically immediately, of the protective pressure switch.
- This arrangement also ensures that the level of liquid in the chamber 7 when the machine is stopped because of an anomalous condition, and the chamber is removed, is somewhat lower than the level of the filling opening and discharge outlet so as to prevent possible spillage caused by the rotation or agitation of the chamber when it is being moved.
- This arrangement also frees the positioning of the height of the filling opening from that of the breather outlet.
- the filling opening may be at a lower level than that of the overflow and breather opening as long as the pipe 38 extends into the chamber to a lower level than the filling pipe.
- an accumulation capacity in the order of 3.5 to 3.7 dm 3 can be easily and economically obtained.
- the capacity of the chamber may be increased without increasing the extent to which the chamber projects from the front of the machine, by providing an extension of the chamber below the frame 2 of the door and by having a rectangular rather than a lenticular chamber.
- the chamber may be made from an at least partially transparent plastics material to allow the level of liquid collected in the chamber to be seen.

Claims (10)
- Frontladerwäschetrockner mit einem Kondensator mit abnehmbarer Kondensat-Sammelgefäßvorrichtung, der von vorn durch eine Beschickungsöffnung beladen wird, die mittels einer in einem Rahmen (2) an der Vorderseite der Maschine (1) schwenkbar aufgenommenen Beschickungstür in Form eines Bullauges (3) beladen wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine an dem Rahmen (2) abnehmbar aufgehängte und teilweise in einem konkaven Bereich des Bullauges (3) außerhalb der Maschine aufgenommene Sammelkammer (7) vorgesehen ist, wobei die Kammer (7) mit einer Füllöffnung (13) ausgestattet ist, die bei geschlossener Tür mit einem Rohr (22) verbunden ist, durch das das Kondensat durch ein normalerweise geschlossenes Sicherheitsventil (23) abgeführt wird, das geöffnet wird, wenn die Tür durch die an ihr vorhandene Kammer (7) geschlossen wird, wobei die Kammer ferner eine Belüftungs- und Überlauföffnung (14) aufweist, die bei geschlossener Tür mit einem zu einem Gefäß (53) des Kondensators (51) der Maschine führenden Überlaufrohr (37) verbunden ist.
- Wäschetrockner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine zwischen dem Bullauge (3) und der Vorderseite (1) der Maschine zusammengedrückte Dichtung (5) für die Wasserdichtheit der Tür sorgt.
- Wäschetrockner nach den Ansprüchen 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sammelkammer mit einem Ringflansch (10) zum Positionieren der Kammer am Türrahmen (2) und ferner mit einem Aufhängehaken (39) zum Aufhängen der Kammer an dem Rahmen (2) ausgestattet ist.
- Wäschetrockner nach den Anrüchen 1, 2 oder 3, wobei die Kammer (7) mit Mitteln (17, 18) ausgestattet ist, die das Abnehmen der Kammer von der Tür bei geschlossener Tür verhindern.
- Wäschetrockner nach einem der Ansprüche 1, 2, 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sammelkammer einen in der Kammer angeordneten Rohrstutzen (38) aufweist, der mit der Entlüftungsöffnung verbunden ist und so einen ersten Arm eines Siphons bildet, wobei das Überlauf-Ablaufrohr (37) einen gegenüber dem ersten Arm längeren zweiten Arm des Siphons bildet derart, daß bei Betätigung des Siphons durch einen anormalen Zustand die teilweise Entleerung der Kammer bewirkt wird, wobei die abgesaugte Flüssigkeit in dem Gefäß (53) des Kondensators (51) gesammelt wird.
- Wäschetrockner nach Anspruch 5 mit einer Druck- oder Füllstands-Schutzeinrichtung (55), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das teilweise Entleeren der Kammer (7), bei dem die abgesaugte Flüssigkeit in dem Gefäß (53) des Kondensators gesammelt wird, die Aktivierung der Schutzeinrichtung (55) bewirkt.
- Wäschetrockner nach einem der Ansprüche 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sammelkammer (7) an ihrer Oberseite mit einem Griff zum Entnehmen der Kammer ausgestattet ist.
- Wäschetrockner nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sammelkammer (7) eine länglichrunde konvexe Form aufweist.
- Wäschetrockner nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet. daß die Sammelkammer (7) zumindest teilweise transparent ist.
- Wäschetrockner nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche mit einer auf Druck oder den Füllstand reagierenden Schutzeinrichtung (55), bei der der Umstand, daß sich das Sicherheitsventil (23) nicht öffnet, weil die Kammer (7) nicht an der Tür vorhanden ist, bei Betrieb der Maschine dazu führt, daß sich das flüssige Kondensat in dem Gefäß (53) des Kondensators (51) sammelt und die Schutzeinrichtung wirksam wird.
