Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a ski boot consisting of a lower part surrounding the foot and the heel and an articulated collar-shaped upper on the lower part with a device at the back rod lock in lowering position tilted forward and unlocking means of the rod, the locking device consisting on the one hand of a pawl mounted on the lower part of the shoe around a horizontal axis, said pawl having an arm directed towards the high and being stressed by a stretching elastic means to separate said arm from the shell, and, on the other hand, a stop mounted around a horizontal axis on the internal face of the rod and against which the end of the pawl arm abuts in bracing in position locked, this stop having an arm oriented so as to move the pawl away from the stop upon actuation of an actuator.
  • Such a shoe is known from the patent application EP-A-0 740 909 (prior art according to Article 54 (3) EPC).
  • This shoe includes on the back a bent lever articulated on the rod cooperating with a ratchet mounted on the hull around an axis.
  • the actuating means intended to separate the pawl from the stopper consist of a cable connected to a loop of the rod so that the opening of this loop exerts traction on this cable, this cable being connected to the angled lever via a spring.
  • the actuating means consist of a lever arm or a pusher located outside the rod and intended for act on the locking pawl.
  • the skier must bend down to release the rod in order to straighten the leg and get in rest or walking position, which is most time that is not easy, even dangerous, because liberation of the stem is most often desired in a queue waiting for the ski lift.
  • the present invention aims to allow the release of the stem without bending down, i.e. using a ski pole.
  • the skier must be able to press with his stick on an easily accessible organ.
  • the shoe according to the invention is characterized in that that the stop is biased by a stretching elastic means to move the stop arm in the direction release the pawl, and that said actuating member is a bistable push button located on the outer side of the rod and which through of a linkage, is intended in one of its positions stable to lock the stop arm in position locking the pawl or releasing the arm from the stop for unlocking the ratchet in its second stable position.
  • Figure 1 shows a straight shoe in position closed and rod retained straight according to an embodiment of the invention.
  • Figure 2 shows a detailed view of the device locking and unlocking the stem of the shoe shown in Figure 1.
  • Figure 3 is a schematic view in axial section bistable control button.
  • Figure 4 shows, in section, the rear part in unlocking phase.
  • the shoe shown in Figure 1 is made a lower part 1 formed by a volume shell variable, surrounding the foot and heel and a rod formed of a collar 2, articulated on the shell in two opposite points 3 approximately at the level of the malleolus.
  • the shell 1 is provided with two tightening loops 4 and 5 and the collar 2 of two closure loops and clamp 6 and 7.
  • the collar 2 wears at the rear on its internal face a stop 8 pivotally mounted around with a horizontal axis 9. This stop cooperates with a ratchet 12 mounted on the shell 1 around a horizontal axis 13 to lock the upper 2 of the shoe in position descent.
  • the shell On its external lateral external face, the shell carries a bistable push button 22 allowing act on the stop 8 by means of a linkage 23, 24.
  • the push button 22 is mounted in an oblong housing 25 consisting of a depression formed in the wall outer rod 2.
  • the lower part of the housing 25 has a lip 26 in which is fixed an annular piece 27 and in which can slide a support piece 29, the center of which is bowl-shaped in which is articulated the end of a rod 23.
  • This rod 23 is actuated by means of a push button 22 and can be moved between a high position corresponding to the position unlocked rod 2 and a low position corresponding to the locked position of the rod.
  • FIG 2 the locking and unlocking system of the rod 2 is shown in exploded view.
  • the tilting stop 8 provided with an arm 8a directed towards the bottom is mounted on a horizontal axis 9 fixed via a frame 30 on the upper 2 of the shoe.
  • a hunting horn spring 31 mounted around the axis 9 is intended to urge the stop 8 so to move his arm 8a away from the rod 2.
  • An angled lever 24, also pivotally mounted around the axis 9, is provided with an arm 24a intended to lock in rotation of the stop 8 in the ratchet locking position 12 and an arm 24b articulated to the rod 23 connected with the bistable push button 22.
  • the pawl 12 is provided with an arm 12a directed upwards, and is stressed by a hunting horn spring not shown tending to keep his arm 12a in a vertical position stray from the hull. In the locked position of the rod, the arm 12a of the pawl 12 abuts against the face almost horizontal bottom of the stop 8.
  • the push button 22 shown in Figure 3, is in overturned socket shape with lower edge with ratchet teeth 32. Its end upper has a depression 33 intended for laterally hold the tip of the ski pole used to press the push button.
  • the push button 22 also has longitudinal ribs 34 engaged in ribs of the annular part 27 of so that the push button is prevented from rotate around its axis.
  • the support piece 29 is provided with four radial arms 35 engaged in grooves 28 of the annular part 27 and capable of slide in these grooves. In a manner known per se, the grooves 28 are alternately short and long and limited by a stop wall limiting the longitudinal movement of the radial arms 35 of the support piece in the grooves.
  • the width of the teeth ratchet teeth 32 is such that when the push button 22 is pressed, the ramps of the teeth 32, which come to rest on the radial arms 35 of the support piece, drive the support piece in rotation as soon as the radial arms escape from the grooves 28.
  • the support piece 29 then rotates by one step and each of his arms pass from one groove to the next groove, i.e. from a long groove to a short groove then from a short groove to a long groove and so right now.
  • Figure 1 shows the support piece 28 in the short grooves. In this position, the rod 23 is in the low position corresponding to the rod locked position 2.
  • the actuation of the bistable push button 22 lowers the rod 23 and therefore tilt the bent lever 24 in the other meaning.
  • the arm 24a of the latter then repels the arm 8a from the stop 8 towards the rod, the stop 8 taking up thus its locked position.
  • the collar 2 tilts towards the front and when the rounded part of the stop 8 exceeds the end of the pawl 12, this one, under the action of its return spring, comes back to arquebouter against the underside of the stopper 8 by locking the collar 2.
  • the push button 22 can be a bistable push button of the type used in some ballpoint pens, type shown in Figure 3, a push button switch as used in some electrical installations or any other execution bistable push button.
