Definitions
- Tiles of this kind are often marketed under the name tile Romanesque object of the model deposits, to title of example N ° 109 818 of 06.04.1973.
- interlocking or sliding tiles designed to allow to obtain a variable transverse column facilitating notably the laying of these tiles because they allow play on the overlap widths and adapt these according to the length of the roof.
- the transverse clearance allowed between two tiles is currently around four centimeters.
- any roof must have ventilation tiles, say roof tiles which therefore constitute an additional accessory necessary for the realization of this roof.
- the present invention aims essential to reduce the number of accessories needed to the realization of a roof and aims to provide, to this effect, a sub-ridge tile with transverse column variable, on the one hand, constituting not an accessory but a real tile replacing the sub-roof tiles current integrating in one piece a shutter, and on the other hand ensuring a ventilation function.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a roof tile allowing easy installation roof tiles.
- This sub-ridge tile therefore has a part of shutter designed to allow sliding transverse of the cover wall of the tiling shutter on the sewer wall of the shutter of a tile of the same rank, and thus consists of an overlapping roof tile variable transverse to obtain a lateral column variable.
- the adjustment range of the transverse overlap extends between a minimum value cover designed to obtain a tight assembly between two neighboring tiles, and a maximum value for which the cover wall of the shutter of a tile completely covers the sewer wall of the shutter with a tile neighbor.
- this adjustment range is, taking into account the width of the sewer part and therefore of the sewer wall of the shutter, greater than the tile adjustment range at current variable transverse gauge which is of the order of four centimeters.
- the cover wall of the shutter of these tiles sub-ridge covers only a portion of the width of the sewer wall of neighboring tiles, even in maximum overlap position.
- a ventilation zone is obtained by the surface portion of the sewer walls of the closoir des tiles not covered by the cover wall of the shutter adjacent tiles. It should also be noted that this ventilation zone located at the level of the roof, it provides excellent circulation air and an optimal chimney effect because the outlet air is provided at this ridge.
- variable roof tile with variable transverse column further comprising a ventilation zone, which meets the standards of tightness imposed by the "Unified Technical Documents”.
- cover wall of the closure has a flat upper face for support ridge tile, able to present, by design of the tile, a significant length which makes laying easy ridge tiles and ensures good stability of these past.
- the sewer wall of the shutter comprises, as to it, a lower face forming a bearing face adapted to rest on structural elements of higher than those used with roof tiles classics, given the heightening of this wall with respect to the sewer part.
- these structural elements consist of three battens, as currently used, superimposed.
- the sealing rim has advantageously an offset at a distance from the edge longitudinal of the support section of the cover wall of the shutter opposite the sewer wall of said shutter, adapted so that said cover wall can come in transverse covering of the sewer wall without generating discontinuity of said sealing rim.
- the sewer wall of the closoir preferably comprises an upper face having spaced longitudinal grooves distributed between the cover wall of said shutter and collection groove of water.
- Such grooves have the function of create pressure relief voids and flow channels of water.
- the sub-roof tile shown in Figure 1 is made in one piece by the process traditional pressing and includes three parts: one convex convex part 1, covered, juxtaposed laterally to a flat part of sewer 2 forming a zone of water flow, and a part forming a shutter extending transversely over the entire width of the tile, in the extension of the high ends of the cover 1 and sewer 2 parts.
- the cover part 1 comprises two longitudinal sections 4, 5 separated by a transverse shoulder 6 adapted so that the section upper 4 is offset upwards relative to the section inferior.
- This part of cover 1 comprises, in in addition, a short distance from its lower end, a transverse rib 7 projecting from the face lower section 5.
- Sewer part 2 is significantly shorter than the cover part 2 and its lower end extends in the same transverse plane as the rib 7 of said cover portion.
- this sewer part 2 has, at this end low, a transverse rib 8 forming the continuity of the transverse rib 7.
- the sewer part 3 further comprises a longitudinal edge 9 at the right of its lateral edge opposite to the cover part 1. It also includes longitudinal ribs such as 10, 11 arranged so as to form transverse stops respectively for the upper 4 and lower 5 sections of the part of covered 1 with an adjacent tile, in the position of minimum transverse overlap of this tile.
- Closoir 3 presents, as an extension of each part of cover 1 and sewer 2, the shape dihedrons delimited by a transverse edge and each comprising an inclined face, respectively 12 and 13 of connection with said parts of cover and sewer, and a support panel 14 and 15 respectively.
- these two dihedrons are separated by a longitudinal shoulder 16 adapted so that the sides inclined 13 and 15 support arranged in the extension of the sewer part 2 and forming the sewer wall of the shutter 3 are set back relative to the inclined faces 12 and support 14 arranged in the extension of the part of covered and forming the cover wall of the shutter 3, of so that the cover wall of the shutter 3 of a tile can slide transversely on the sewer wall of the shutter 3 of an adjacent tile.
- the inclined face 12 of the wall of cover of the shutter 3 present, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, a notch 17 of conjugate shape of the part of cover 1, to the right of the latter.
- Pan support 14 of this cover wall of the shutter 3 extends meanwhile in the same plane as the generator of the section upper 4 of the cover part 1 so as to form a flat support face for the roof tiles.
- the support panel 15 of the wall sewer of shutter 3 has a flat underside support on structural elements which may consist, as shown in Figure 5, in three battens such that 18, of classic section, superimposed.
- This sewer wall of the shutter 3 comprises, in addition, a longitudinal groove 19 formed in the face upper inclined sides 13 and support 15, close from its longitudinal edge opposite the cover wall of the shutter 3. As shown in Figure 1, this groove 19, suitable for collecting and channeling water, is arranged in line with a water flow channel delimited by the rib 10 and the longitudinal edge 9 of the sewer part 2.
- the sewer wall of the shutter 3 comprises, finally, longitudinal grooves, such as 20, formed in the upper face of the support panel 15, and distributed between the groove 19 and the cover wall of the shutter 3.
- Such grooves 20 have the function of create pressure relief voids and flow channels of water.
- the shutter 3 comprises, the along the upper transverse edge of the support panels 14, 15, a transverse sealing rim 21 projecting from relative to the upper faces of said sections.
- This ledge sealing 21 further comprises a recess 22 to distance from the longitudinal edge of the support panel 14 from the wall cover of the shutter 3 opposite the sewer wall, adapted so that the recessed section 21a of the sealing rim 21 of a tile, delimited by this recess 22, can slide in front of the section 21b of the sealing rim 21 of an adjacent tile, delimiting the support panel 15 of the sewer wall of the shutter 3 of this tile.
- these sub-ridge tiles In each of these positions, well heard in any intermediate position, these sub-ridge tiles have a ventilation zone 23 consisting in the width portion of the support panel 15 of the wall sewer of the shutter 3 not covered by the support panel 14 from the cover wall of the shutter 3 of the neighboring tile.
