Description

La présente invention concerne un instrument d'écriture ou de dessin constitué de deux éléments assortis et complémentaires, soit : l'instrument d'écriture lui-même doté d'une longueur constante et un capuchon amovible, destiné à coiffer la plume ou la pointe d'écriture ou de dessin de l'instrument pour la protéger, ledit instrument d'écriture et ledit capuchon étant agencés de façon à pouvoir être assemblés pour constituer, en position d'assemblage dans laquelle le capuchon recouvre l'extrémité opérante de l'instrument, un ensemble instrument-capuchon homogène et de longueur invariable, le capuchon étant muni d'une agrafe de fixation permettant de fixer momentanément ledit instrument d'écriture sur le bord supérieur d'une poche de vêtement ou d'une poche de sac, sacoche, porte-document, etc...
Dans le document US-A-1.720.559, est décrit un instrument d'écriture de ce type dont le capuchon est muni d'une agrafe de fixation dont la butée est disposée du côté de l'orifice ou extrémité ouverte dudit capuchon et dont l'extrémité libre est orientée du côté du fond de ce dernier.
De la sorte, le capuchon peut être accroché sur le bord supérieur de la poche avec son extrémité ouverte orientée vers le haut, ce qui permet de retirer l'instrument d'écriture proprement dit dudit capuchon, ou de le réintroduire dans ce dernier qui reste accroché à la poche pendant les périodes d'utilisation dudit instrument d'écriture. Un tel dispositif permet donc à l'usager d'extraire l'instrument d'écriture hors de son capuchon tout en laissant celui-ci fixé à son support. L'intégrité de l'ensemble composé de l'instrument et de son capuchon est a lors rompue. Il devient ainsi, après usage de l'instrument, nécessaire de reconstituer l'intégrité de l'ensemble instrument-capuchon, et, par conséquent, de reboucher l'instrument, avec son capuchon. Pour ce faire, l'usager doit réintroduire l'extrémité de l'instrument munie de la plume ou pointe d'écriture, dans son capuchon resté accroché sur le bord de la poche. Ce dispositif permet donc de réduire les risques de perte des capuchons et des instruments d'écriture sur les lieux d'utilisation.
Selon le dispositif décrit dans le document US-A-1.720.559, l'instrument d'écriture se dresse au-dessus du bord supérieur du support (poche ou autre) sur lequel il est fixé, par l'intermédiaire de son capuchon, sur une longueur relativement importante correspondant à la plus grande partie de la longueur dudit instrument, de sorte que ce dernier a une tendance naturelle à basculer hors du support, cette propension au basculement augmentant avec la souplesse dudit support.
Pour pallier à cet inconvénient, il est prévu, dans le document US-A-1.720.559, de lester le fond fermé du capuchon, au moyen d'une petite masse pesante. Cela conduit immanquablement à fabriquer des capuchons à partir d'une pluralité de matériaux différents, et, par conséquent, à une complication de fabrication et à un prix de revient élevé. D'autre part, une augmentation du poids de l'ensemble instrument-capuchon peut favoriser la déformation permanente des poches des vêtements sur le bord desquelles ledit ensemble est accroché, tandis que le fait que ledit instrument se dresse hors de la poche sur la plus grande partie de sa longueur, est relativement inesthétique.
On connait également (US-A-1.921.270 - US-A-2.553.346) des étuis de forme allongée destinés à recevoir des instruments d'écriture de longueur variable ou non et dont l'extrémité supérieure est munie d'une pince permettant leur accrochage sur le bord supérieur d'une poche de vêtements.
L'invention se propose de remédier aux inconvénients majeurs précédemment soulignés et qui sont vraisemblablement la cause de l'absence, sur le marché, d'instrument du genre de celui décrit dans le document US-A-1.720.559, bien que celui-ci vise à procurer des avantages substantiels par rapport aux instruments d'écriture traditionnels.
Selon l'invention, ce but est atteint grâce à un instrument d'écriture du genre précité, remarquable par le fait que l'extrémité ouverte du capuchon et la butée de l'agrafe de fixation sont disposées dans la demi-partie de la longueur de l'ensemble instrument-capuchon incluant la partie terminale inopérante dudit instrument d'écriture.
Grâce à cette disposition caractéristique, lorsque l'ensemble instrument-capuchon est accroché sur le bord supérieur d'un support tel que le bord supérieur d'une poche, la plus grande partie de la hauteur de cet ensemble se trouve disposée au-dessous dudit bord, à l'intérieur de la poche, et n'a, de ce fait, aucune propension au basculement vers l'extérieur.
D'autre part, le capuchon de l'instrument d'écriture selon l'invention peut être obtenu facilement et de manière économique, par tout procédé connu de moulage, à partir d'un uni que matériau tel que matière plastique rigide, par exemple, ou au moyen de deux matériaux différents seulement (un pour le corps du capuchon et un pour l'agrafe), et son poids n'est pas sensiblement augmenté par rapport à celui des capuchons usuels.
Les buts, caractéristiques et avantages ci-dessus, et d'autres encore, ressortiront mieux de la description qui suit et des dessins annexés dans lesquels :
  • La figure 1 est une vue en élévation d'un instrument d'écriture selon l'invention dont le capuchon est représenté en coupe longitudinale.
  • La figure 2 est une vue de face d'un instrument d'écriture selon l'invention représenté accroché sur une poche de vêtement.
  • La figure 3 est une vue en coupe selon la ligne 3-3 de la figure 2.
    • On se réfère auxdits dessins pour décrire un exemple de réalisation avantageux, bien que nullement limitatif, de l'instrument d'écriture ou de dessin selon l'invention.
    Dans l'exposé qui suit, on se réfère plus précisément à un "instrument d'écriture" qui pourrait être constitué par un stylo à plume, un stylo à bille, un stylo à pointe feutre, etc., mais il est évident que l'invention s'applique de la même façon aux instruments plus spécialement destinés au dessin et comportant une pointe à tracer ou à dessiner.
    L'instrument d'écriture selon l'invention est constitué par un ensemble comprenant deux éléments assortis et complémentaires, à savoir l'instrument d'écriture proprement dit 1 et un capuchon 2, lesquels sont agencés de façon à pouvoir être assemblés pour former, en position d'assemblage et de non utilisation, un ensemble instrument-capuchon homogène et de longueur invariable.
    L'instrument d'écriture proprement dit 1 est du genre à longueur constante, c'est-à-dire qu'il conserve sa longueur initiale et qu'il n'est pas progressivement raccourci pendant sa durée d'usage. Il est réalisé de la manière habituelle et comprend un corps dont une extrémité opérante est munie de la plume ou pointe d'écriture 3 et dont l'autre extrémité 4 sera appelée extrémité inopérante dans la suite du présent expose, par opposition à la précédente.
    Le capuchon 2 présente une extrémité pourvue d'un orifice 5 par lequel est introduit l'instrument d'écriture ou de dessin 1 et une extrémité fermée par un fond 6.
    Le capuchon 2 est muni d'une agrafe ou barrette de fixation 7 dont la butée 8 est disposée du côté de l'orifice 5 ou extrémité ouverte dudit capuchon et dont l'extrémité libre 9 est orientée en direction de l'extrémité fermée ou fond 6 de ce dernier. Autrement dit, l'entrée 10 du passage 11 délimité par l'agrafe 7 et le corps 2a du capuchon 2 est disposée du côté du fond 6 de ce dernier.
    L'agrafe 7 peut être formée d'une seule pièce avec le corps 2a du capuchon 2, l'ensemble corps-agrafe de fixation 2a, 7 étant, dans ce cas, réalisé dans le même matériau, ou rapportée sur ledit corps du capuchon par tout moyen connu, le corps et l'agrafe de fixation pouvant alors être exécutés dans des matériaux différents.
    Des moyens classiques d'assemblage 12 par pression, ou par filetage, ou autres, permettent de retenir l'instrument d'écriture proprement dit 1 dans le capuchon 2, lorsque ledit instrument n'est pas utilisé.
    Selon une importante disposition caractéristique de l'invention, la butée 8 de l'agrafe ou barrette de fixation 7 est disposée dans la demi-partie L' de la longueur L de l'ensemble instrument-capuchon 1-2 qui inclut la partie terminale inopérante 4 dudit instrument d'écriture 1.
    Selon une autre disposition caractéristique de l'invention, l'orifice 5 ou extrémité ouverte du capuchon 2 est également disposée dans la demi-partie L' de la longueur L de l'ensemble instrument-capuchon 1-2 qui inclut la partie terminale inopérante 4 dudit instrument d'écriture 1.
    De manière préférée, la butée 8 de l'agrafe de fixation 7 et/ou l'orifice 5 ou extrémité ouverte du capuchon 2 est ou sont disposée(s) dans une portion L'' d'une longueur L de l'ensemble instrument-capuchon 1-2 incluant l'extrémité inopérante dudit instrument d'écriture et correspondant à environ 40 % de la longueur dudit ensemble 1-2.
    De préférence, la butée 8 de l'agrafe de fixation 7 et l'extrémité ouverte 5 du capuchon 2 sont disposées sensiblement au même niveau.
    Selon une variante d'exécution non illustrée, l'emplacement de la fixation de l'agrafe 7 sur le corps 2a du capuchon 2 peut se situer du côté de l'extrémité fermée 6 de celui-ci ; il suffit pour cela de modifier la conformation de l'agrafe dont la butée 8 reste disposée du côté de l'extrémité ouverte 5 dudit capuchon.
    Le capuchon 2 peut également être muni d'une barrette de fixation usuel le (non représentée) disposée de manière diamétralement opposée par rapport à l'agrafe de fixation 7 et s'étendant longitudinalement dans une direction opposée à celle de cette dernière.
    Les figures 2 et 3 montrent l'instrument d'écriture selon l'invention, accroché sur le bord supérieur B d'une poche P de vêtement V.
    On constate que cet instrument se trouve ainsi accroché de manière stable sur son support et n'a aucune tendance naturelle à basculer vers l'extérieur compte tenu du fait que la plus grande partie de sa longueur se trouve à l'intérieur de la poche, comme c'est le cas pour les stylos ou instruments d'écriture analogues classiques.

    Claims (3)

    1. Instrument d'écriture ou de dessin (1) du genre constitué de deux éléments assortis et complémentaires, soit l'instrument d'écriture lui-même (1) doté d'une longueur constante et un capuchon amovible (2) pour le logement de l'extrémité (3) munie de la plume ou pointe d'écriture ou de dessin, ledit instrument d'écriture (1) et ledit capuchon (2) étant agencés de façon à pouvoir être assemblés pour constituer, en position d'assemblage dans laquelle le capuchon (2) recouvre l'extrémité opérante (3) de l'instrument (1), un ensemble instrument-capuchon (1-2) homogène et de longueur invariable, le capuchon (2) étant muni d'une agrafe de fixation (7) dont la butée (8) est disposée du côté de l'orifice ou extrémité ouverte (5) dudit capuchon et dont l'extrémité libre (9) est orientée du côté du fond (6) de ce dernier, caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité ouverte (5) du capuchon (2) et la butée (8) de l'agrafe de fixation (7) sont disposées dans la demi-partie (L') de la longueur (L) de l'ensemble instrument-capuchon (1-2) qui inclut la partie terminale inopérante (4) dudit instrument d'écriture (1).
    2. Instrument d'écriture ou de dessin selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité ouverte (5) du capuchon (2) et la butée (8) de l'agrafe de fixation (7) sont disposées dans une portion (L'') de l'ensemble instrument-capuchon (1-2) correspondant à environ 40 % de la longueur (L) dudit ensemble.
    3. Instrument d'écriture ou de dessin selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2 caractérisé en ce que la butée (8) de l'agrafe de fixation (7) et l'extrémité ouverte ou orifice (5) du capuchon (2) sont disposées sensiblement au même niveau.
