Claims (12)

  1. Apparatus for creasing continuously conveyed flat workpieces to be folded along crease lines, preferably for applying the oblique overfold lines on pieces of tube made of paper to prepare the folds in crossbottoms to be formed, comprising creasing tools which are fixed to mutually parallel shafts (19, 23; 20, 24), of which tools some have a groove (die) and the others have a web (punch) which run spirally over the envelope cylinder described by these and, in the region of contact of their envelope lines, come into engagement with one another; wherein, in order to set the length of the crease or overfold lines (9, 9'), part of a tool comprises a set of disc-like or plate-like segments which are located close beside one another and carry the creasing tools and of which at least some are held on the shaft such that they can be rotated and fixed in different angular positions;
