Abstract

Le désherbant présenté comprend au moins un matériau de base biodégradable fibreux tel que le bois, la paille, le lin, la laine, la tourbe ou les produits de substitution de celle-ci, et au moins un adjuvant tel que du composte, de la farine de corne, de la poussière de roche, des déchets d'abattage, ayant, éventuellement en présence d'un autre composant liquide telle que de l'eau, la capacité de réticuler ou de coller par rapport au matériau de base. La structure du matériau composite ainsi obtenu est telle que, selon l'épaisseur de la couche appliquée, il empêche ou retarde toute croissance des mauvaises herbes à travers ladite couche.
