It follows that the cosmetic product is dispensed from bottle 2 up to the user's hand via the tip 21, the sections 17a and 17b of the tube 17 and the opening of distribution 20.

Claims (28)

  1. A tester for a cosmetic product to be atomised such as a perfume or toilet water in a bottle (2) provided with an atomisation valve to be pressed (3) having a support (4) and, carried by this, holding means (13, 29, 30) for a bottle (2); means (16) for distributing the product to be atomised, comprising a distribution tube (17) terminating at one end in a distribution opening (20); manual control means (23) actuated by the presence of the hand of a user when the said hand is placed close to an area (24) identified as that of the support (4); manoeuvring means (25) controlled by the control means (23) able to press the atomisation valve (3); distribution means (16) being separated from the control area (24) so that the distribution opening (20) is placed opposite the hand of the user actuating the control means (23);
    characterised in that:
    the distribution tube is terminated, at the other end, by a joining piece (21) intended to be removably mounted on the valve (3); the distribution tube (17) comprising two complete contiguous portions, namely a fixed rigid portion (17a) on the same side as the distribution opening (20) and a deformable movable portion (17b) on the same side as the joining piece (21).
  2. A tester according to Claim 1, characterised by the fact that the holding means are in the form of a casing (13) intended for housing the bottle (2) of product to be tested, fixed to a rear face (5b) of a panel (5) on the support (4).
  3. A tester according to Claim 2, characterised by the fact that the casing (13) has a movable or removable door (14).
  4. A tester according to Claim 2, characterised by the fact that the casing (13) is opaque.
  5. A tester according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised by the fact that the fixed rigid portion (17a) is mounted so as to project from a front face of the panel (5) on the support (4); and the deformable movable portion (17b) is mounted so as to project from the rear face (5b) of the said panel (5) whilst opening out and being able to be housed in the casing (13).
  6. A tester according to Claim 1, characterised by the fact that the support (4) includes, in addition to the panel (5), a base (6) placed at the end (7) of the said panel, situated opposite the distribution opening (20), and separated therefrom and close to the control area (24).
  7. A tester according to Claim 6, characterised by the fact that the base (6) constitutes means for receiving the excess product to be atomised.
  8. A tester according to Claim 7, characterised by the fact that the base (6) is arranged so as substantially to prevent traces of the excess atomised product being visible.
  9. A tester according to Claim 8, characterised by the fact that the base (6) has a smooth surface which can easily be cleaned; or has a surface with reliefs masking the traces of cosmetic products or having absorption means (11).
  10. A tester according to Claim 6, characterised by the fact that the support also has a bracket (10) fixed to the panel (5) on the support (4) and projecting therefrom, whose bottom face (18) is adjoined by the distribution means (16) adjoining the distribution opening (20) and whose top face (11) forms a seating for a second bottle (12) of cosmetic products intended for the identification of the said product or bottle by the user.
  11. A tester according to Claim 1, characterised by the fact that the distribution means (20) are arranged to atomise the cosmetic product or deposit it in drops.
  12. A tester according to either one of Claims 6 and 11, characterised by the fact that the distribution means (16) atomising the cosmetic product are arranged so that the atomisation axis D is directed towards the base (6) whilst moving away from the panel (5) on the support (4).
  13. A tester according to Claim 12, characterised by the fact that the atomisation axis D forms an angle of around 45° with the panel (5) on the support (4).
  14. A tester according to Claim 1, characterised by the fact that the control means (23) operate by mechanical contact such as notably a lever, a handle, a button or a slider, or without contact by proximity detection.
  15. A tester according to any one of Claims 1, 2 and 14, characterised by the fact that the control means (23) are in the form of a pedal (26) mounted on the support (4) so as to be able to pivot over a certain travel, having a front part (28) projecting from the front face (5a) of the panel (5) on the support (4), passing through an aperture (8) provided in the said panel (5) in the area (24) and emerging, towards the rear face (5b) of the said panel (5), in the casing (13), this pedal (26) being extended in the said casing (13) by a movable wall (29), the assembly (26, 28, 29) and the spindle (27) forming a lever.
  16. A tester according to Claim 15, characterised by the fact that the wall (29) extending the pedal (26) forms part of the manoeuvring means (25).
  17. A tester according to Claim 1, characterised by the fact that the manoeuvring means (25) comprise a member acting mechanically on the bottle (2) proper, a member acting mechanically on the atomisation valve (3) or the joining piece (21) and means able to ensure the relative movement of the two members over a certain travel.
  18. A tester according to Claim 17, characterised by the fact that the member acting mechanically on the bottle proper is carried movably by the support (4) whilst the member acting on the valve (3) or joining piece (21) is carried fixedly.
  19. A tester according to Claim 17, characterised by the fact that the member acting mechanically on the bottle proper is carried movably by the support (4) whilst the member acting on the valve (3) or joining piece (21) is carried movably.
  20. A tester according to Claim 17, characterised by the fact that the relative movement of the two members is a sliding or a rotation.
  21. A tester according to Claim 17, characterised by the fact that the manoeuvring means include means for adjusting the relative movement travel of the two members.
  22. A tester according to either one of Claims 2 and 17, characterised by the fact that the manoeuvring means (25) include a wall or part of a wall (30) of the casing (13) and a movable wall (29), the two walls (29, 30) being placed opposite each other and being separated from each other.
  23. A tester according to Claim 22, characterised by the fact that the wall or part of a wall (30) of the casing (13) is intended to act on the atomisation valve (3) or the joining piece (21) and the movable wall (29) intended to act on the bottom of the bottle (2) of cosmetic product.
  24. A testing assembly comprising a tester according to any one of Claims 1 to 23 and a bottle (2) of the product to be atomised whose valve (3) is mounted on the joining piece (21) of the tester (1).
  25. A testing assembly according to Claim 24, characterised by the fact that it also includes a second bottle (12) of cosmetic product.
  26. A testing assembly according to either one of Claims 24 and 25, characterised by the fact that the bottle (2) of cosmetic product to be atomised is entirely housed in the casing (13), wedged between a wall or part of a wall (30) thereof to which the valve (3) or joining piece (21) is applied and a movable wall (29) forming part of the manoeuvring means (25), notably the extension of a pedal (26) of the control means (23) applied to the bottom of the bottle (2).
  27. A testing assembly according to one of Claims 24 to 26, characterised by the fact that the deformable portion (17b) of the tube (17) has sufficient length to allow the bottle (2) of cosmetic product to be atomised to be removed from the casing (13).
  28. A testing assembly according to any one of Claims 24 to 27, characterised by the fact that it is intended to be positioned with the panel (5) of the support (4) vertical or substantially vertical and the base (6) horizontal or substantially horizontal and at the bottom.
