Description
The invention relates to an applicator assembly for a liquid or viscous product found in the fields of cosmetics, paints and glues. In the field of cosmetics, the product can be a varnish composition nail polish or a nail care composition.
Typically, a set of nail polish application includes a reservoir for the product to be applied and an applicator of said product, such as a brush comprising a tuft of hairs, attached to a first end of a rod, the rod being fixed by its other end in a cap intended to close the tank, so the tuft of hair is submerged in this product when the whole application is closed.
To ensure proper closure of the assembly, the tank has a neck provided with a first thread which cooperates with a second thread provided in the cap. The neck is generally thick and flat, and fitted with a sealing ring. The rod is held in the cap via a support which includes a tray sealing. This sealing plate is in contact with the sealing ring of the neck when the application assembly is closed. The thread is formed over the entire height of the neck and is flush with the upper end of the neck.
To apply the product to the nail, the applicator member is removed from the reservoir. is impregnated with product. Generally, the brush contains an excess of product. It is therefore necessary to proceed with the elimination of this excess product. and for this, the user spins the brush by wiping it on the end of the neck of the tank. The end of the neck being flat and thick and constituting a span, of the product will remain on the neck and flow along the external wall of the neck and thus soil the thread of the neck. When you screw the cap back on to close the tank, the product then spreads on the neck and in the thread. The product thus forms a fouling after drying of the cap-neck assembly. When next use, it is difficult, if not impossible, to unscrew the tank cap. In addition, the product on the neck does not allows more good sealing of the application assembly because the tray seal is no longer in leaktight contact with the neck seal ring. In in addition, due to the range of the tray on the end of the neck, the tray does not more perfectly the relief of the end of the neck, when the latter is soiled after the first use, which further reduces the seal.
The bottle consists of a container whose neck is placed inside a cone, so that the cap, once screwed does not come into contact with the upper part and the side part of the bottle. Two gutters are provided on the cone to retain the drops of product which could flow along the cone and stick the screwed part. The thread, intended to ensure the fixing of the stopper on the bottle, is on the upper part of the body of the container, near the base of the cone. Also, according to this document, the container ends in the shape of a truncated cone, the neck found placed inside the cone
To avoid fouling of the neck thread, patent CH-C-535,167 proposes extend the orifice of the neck by a tube having a flat end and thick. When the cap is screwed onto the bottle, there is a space between the side wall of the cap and the wall of the tubing preventing excess product soil the thread of the neck. However, in the event of a large flow of produced along the external wall of the tubing, following the wringing of the brush on the flat end of the tubing, the neck thread may still be soiled with product. In addition, due to the flat end of the tubing, a deposit of product is formed after each spin, resulting in a decrease in tightness.
The present invention therefore aims to remedy the drawbacks mentioned above.
The object of the present invention is, in particular, to provide a set of applications which allows better wringing of the application member while avoiding soiling the tank neck. It also aims to propose means allowing ensure good sealing of the application assembly.
The Applicant has discovered, unexpectedly and surprisingly, that such results could be achieved by conferring on the upper end of the neck a profile preventing any flow of product wrung on the external wall of the neck.
The present invention therefore relates to a set of application of a product liquid or viscous, comprising a reservoir, surmounted by a neck and a cap carrying an application member which, in the closed position of the assembly, is immersed in the product contained in this tank, said neck comprising a base and an upper end forming a free edge, a sealing plate deformable being disposed inside the cap, said cap being provided a thread, characterized in that said neck comprises a thread capable of cooperating with the thread of the cap, and ends with a cylindrical portion whose free edge alone forms a sharp edge, said sharp edge being in the closed position of the assembly, capable of coming into engagement with the sealing plate of so as to deform the latter and form a seal in the deformation zone, the upper end of the neck being free of range.
Said sharp edge makes it possible to wring out the application member well. In particular, when of the spin, all of the excess product drained flows into the space internal tank. This prevents any flow of product along the outer wall of the neck and therefore avoids soiling the latter.
By cap is meant any element capable of holding the applicator member in the tank, without the latter hermetically closing the tank.
The application set according to the invention, although recommended for packaging nail polish, may be suitable for the application of any other product liquid or viscous, and in particular paints, especially paints for models and drawings, and glues.
Avantageusement, l'extrémité supérieure du goulot peut être munie d'une première arête et d'au moins une deuxième arête, la première arête étant à un niveau supérieur à celui de la deuxième arête, par rapport à l'axe X.Advantageously, the upper end of the neck can be provided with a first edge and at least a second edge, the first edge being at a higher level to that of the second edge, relative to the X axis.
The profile of the upper end of the neck according to the invention can be produced on the whole of said end or only over a part. In this last case, the applicator member is wrung out only on the profiled part of the neck.
According to the invention, the edge is sharp (that is to say defined by the intersection of two planes).
Advantageously, said first edge is defined by the intersection of two planes forming an acute angle.
According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the neck has at least one thread located on the base.
The cap has a sealing plate. In this case, the end profile upper neck ensures better contact with the sealing plate of the cap, and therefore improves the overall tightness of the application assembly. In particular, the projecting edge of the neck allows easy deformation of the plate sealing after screwing on the cap, deformation allowing to maintain a perfect seal between the neck and the cap. In addition, the small thickness of the edge facilitates the elimination of any deposit of product on the edge during deformation of the sealing plate during screwing.
In addition, the neck may have a lip surmounting the base and ending by said upper end of the neck. The lip thus allows a greater ease of wringing of the applicator member, the latter then being better wrung out, with greater precision.
Avantageusement, l'embase peut avoir une épaisseur de paroi e1 et ladite lèvre peut avoir une épaisseur de paroi e2, selon la direction orthogonale à l'axe X, inférieure à e1, ces épaisseurs étant mesurées selon une direction orthogonale à l'axe (X).Advantageously, the base can have a wall thickness e 1 and said lip can have a wall thickness e 2 , in the direction orthogonal to the axis X, less than e 1 , these thicknesses being measured in a direction orthogonal to l 'axis (X).
According to the invention, the ratio e 2 / e 1 is preferably less than 0.9 and, preferably, ranges from 0.1 to 0.8.
Advantageously, the base has a height H and the lip has a height h such that the h / H ratio is less than 6 and preferably ranges from 0.03 to 4, the heights H and h being measured along the axis X of the reservoir.
According to the invention, the section of the internal wall of the neck can be constant or variable, along the X axis. In particular, the internal section of the upper part of the neck, located towards the upper end, may be smaller than the internal section from the bottom of the neck located towards the tank. The bottleneck presents then an internal constriction, in particular in the form of a cone, the most large opening is directed towards the bottom of the tank. This profile of the inner wall makes it possible to spin the applicator member inside the reservoir itself, before spinning on the upper end of the neck. In addition, the release of the reservoir application member is facilitated. Indeed, the lower part of larger internal section makes it easier to lean in relation to the axis (X), the applicator member, when it leaves the reservoir.
According to the invention, the neck can be made in one piece, which allows reduce the manufacturing costs of the application assembly.
Preferably, the tank with the neck can be made in one piece. The tank can be made of glass, plastic or metal. In addition, the tank may have an attached bottom. In addition, it can be done in one material treated in its mass or treated externally (external face), in order to provide more slippery to limit the adhesion of the product and / or improve the aesthetics and / or limit the breakage.
According to another variant of the invention, the cap may include a sub-capsule. The sub-capsule can be provided with a thread cooperating with the thread of the base.
According to the invention, the neck may include a counter ring, integral with the reservoir, which carries the base. Preferably, the outer diameter of the counter ring is substantially close to the outer diameter of the cap but may be larger or smaller.
The applicator member can be a brush, a foam, a feather, a plastic flocked or molded plastic.
When the applicator member is a brush, it consists of a tuft bristles, the bristles being capable of being made of any material and in any known form of the skilled person.
The invention consists, apart from the arrangements set out above, of a certain number of other provisions which will be discussed more explicitly below, about embodiments described with reference to the accompanying drawings, but which are in no way limiting.

Referring to Figures 1 and 2, we can see a designated application set
generally by reference 2, comprising a
The
A titre
mm.The
The reservoir-base-lip assembly is made in one piece, in particular in glass.
The
When the application assembly is closed, the
When the user wishes to apply
Figure 3 shows an alternative embodiment of the application set differentiating
from that of Figure 1 by the shape of the neck. So the bottleneck has

présentant un profil plat.FIG. 4 shows an alternative embodiment of the invention which differs from
that of FIG. 3 by the fact that the
The application assembly of FIG. 5 shows an alternative embodiment of the invention

The

à l'axe X, facilitant ainsi sa sortie du réservoir 4.Figure 7 shows a tank differentiating from that of Figure 6 by the conformation of the neck. Furthermore, the
To limit the excess product on the brush when it comes out of the tank and therefore to further reduce the fouling of the thread compared to the assemblies application of the state of the art, it is possible to use a lower rod diameter than that conventionally used, for example a smaller diameter to 3 mm or ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 mm. The brush rod can also be mounted with the screw sub-capsule, in one piece.
