Abstract
Description
Plastic trays are known, which in particular used for the transport of fruit and vegetables and in which the side walls over a film hinge connected to the floor to rest on the floor to be collapsible and so, during the Empty transport, taking up less space and more often to be usable. With such rises that happens The side walls usually open after one Cleaning process with water. This Unfolding proved to be labor intensive and uncomfortable because the operator is always with the Residual water comes into contact with which of the Stiffening structures of the walls and floor is withheld; the movements also have an effect and the pressure which is for mutual hanging the side walls in the opened position required are, after repetition for a substantial number of Rise, the fatigue of the performer.
The invention has an automatic task Folding device for foldable climbing of the to create the type described above, which it allows you to remove individual trays in collapsed from a stack, this open by opening the side walls and then closed again in the opened state stack.
To achieve this object, the invention proposes a device for opening, which is fed by a mechanism which takes the folded crates individually from a stack and which is coupled at the exit to a stacking mechanism for opened crates; Furthermore, in order to maintain a single linear advancement direction of the trays, it is proposed that the unfolding process takes place in an elevated position with respect to the loading and exit movement of the trays and that in a first phase after the advancement of the trays in the longitudinal direction, the side walls by means of swivel arms provided with gripping elements, which act on the opposite lateral edges of the two longitudinal side walls, are opened, while in a subsequent second phase the transverse side walls are opened by swivel arms with their gripping elements acting on the upper edge of these walls.
According to the invention, one of the gripping elements of the swivel arms, which causes the longitudinal walls to be opened, is fixed or adjustable in different positions, while the other gripping element is actuated by a small pneumatic cylinder in such a way that it can exert a slight pressure on the side wall in order to generate a pushing force in the direction against the fixed gripping element. Incidentally, the gripping elements of this arm always act at the same height, regardless of the height of the side wall. The swivel arms for opening the transverse side walls, on the other hand, are adjustable so that they can be adapted to the side wall height. Furthermore, they are provided with a gripping element which is actuated by a pneumatic piston.
The axes of rotation of these preferably pneumatically operated swivel arms are arranged coaxially with the axis of the corresponding film hinges; However, in order to cause the hooking elements to snap in between the longitudinal walls and the transverse walls, the invention proposes that the axis of rotation of the swivel arms for opening the transverse side walls be displaced slightly downward, which facilitates the snapging in of the hooking elements in that during the last opening Phase of the transverse side walls, a slight depression of this in the direction of the floor is effected, which enables the hooking elements to engage and snap in. This effect, which is achieved by the offset between the hinge axis and the axis of the swivel arm, is particularly important in the case of trays with higher side walls, because these also have hanging elements in intermediate areas.
The invention does not rule out the passage of the trays through the opening device in the transverse direction, also in this case the opening device will always open the longitudinal side walls of the tray in a first phase and open the transverse side walls in the subsequent phase. After opening the crate walls, the gripping elements of the swivel arms leave the side walls free and the crate is lowered again to the level of the feed movement in order to be further transported to the stacking.
The invention is based on one, in the enclosed Drawings shown schematically Embodiment of an inventive Folding device for foldable crates closer explained.
Figure 2 shows the one shown in Figure 1 Folding device for foldable crates in Cross-section, with an open crate in the upper Position and with another open crate in lower position to be transported to the stack will.
voraus. Diese werden durch die geradlinige Hin- und
Herbewegung 2b eines Mitnehmers 2a mit Schwenkklinke
1a, welcher die zusammengefaltete Steige auf die
Führungen 3 eines vertikal arbeitenden Hebemechanismus
8b schiebt, vom Stapel entnommen.
The folding station B for the
