Description

The invention relates to an add-on elevator for the transport of people and goods, which is connected to a wall of a building having shaft doors, with a self-propelled cabin running on two column-like guides, in particular connected to a counterweight by means of supporting elements, the access from the cabin to the building and vice versa is arranged in the zone between the guides and the guides are designed as load-bearing elements.

Elevator systems of the type described are preferably grown on the outside of a building, in particular for the purpose of modernizing existing buildings without elevators. For this purpose, the outer wall intended for the attachment of the elevator is provided with shaft doors. A shaft scaffold is created in front of the outer wall prepared in this way and connected to the outer wall. An elevator with guide rails for the cabin and the counterweight, buffers, shaft information etc. is then installed in the shaft scaffold itself, i.e. in the same way as the installation in a shaft inside the building.

The German patent application DE 1 506 479 describes an elevator which is carried and guided by two strong columns in which counterweights run without burdening the building. An "elastic rack drive" is arranged on the cabin, which engages with pinions on both sides of a roller chain embedded in the columns so that it is kink-proof. Due to the special type of drive, a safety gear should be unnecessary. But what prevents the use of this construction as a comfortable passenger elevator is the fact that the drive develops strong vibrations and noises and is therefore only suitable for lower speeds, which is also confirmed by the note "for industrial and garage lifts". Furthermore, it is not clear from the writing and the drawings how the cabin is carried and how the access from the cabin to the building and vice versa is planned.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a modular and prefabricated add-on elevator that is inexpensive to manufacture, fully equipped, can be assembled in a short time, can be used for the middle range in terms of speed and delivery height and the safety requirements for one Passenger elevator met.

This object is achieved by the invention characterized in claim 1 and shown in the drawings and description.

The invention is characterized inter alia by characterized by the fact that the add-on elevator has only a few parts and can be transported prefabricated as a whole to the construction site for small and medium-sized heads.

Advantageous further developments and improvements of the invention are specified in the dependent claims. By arranging the cabin, support frame and guides accordingly, an optimal use of the available floor space is achieved.

  • Fig.3 eine Draufsicht auf den Anbauaufzug.
The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment and shown in the drawings, in which:
  • 1 an overall view with a view of the outside of the elevator,
  • Fig.2 is a general view with a view from the inside of the building and
  • 3 shows a plan view of the add-on elevator.

On a foundation module 12 resting on a building site area 4 there are two at its ends on both sides at a distance of the track width vertical guide modules 10 supported and fastened on the end face. At the upper end of the guide modules 10, these are terminated with a shaft head module 13 spanning the track width. Arranged within the guide modules 10 is a cabin 5, the self-drive on the underside of which drives a drive wheel 7 on both sides, which runs on the treads of the guide modules 10 and which interacts with a support wheel 8 located on the opposite tread of the guide module 10. On the top of the cabin 5, guide rollers 9 are arranged, which guide the cabin 5 in the two horizontal axes on three running surfaces on the guide modules 10. The cabin 5 is held in a circumferential support frame 6 and is connected to a counterweight 18 (FIG. 2) running inside the guide modules 10 at the top on both sides via support members 19, which guide pulleys 14 located on both sides of the shaft head module 13. A speed limiter 15 is arranged on the left side of the shaft head module 13, which is driven by a governor rope 20 fastened to the cabin 5 and guided via a lower deflection pulley 17 fastened to the left side of the foundation module 12. If the speed is exceeded excessively, a safety device (not shown) on the cabin 5 is triggered in a known manner. The guide modules 10 are connected to the building 1 on each floor 3 via a fastening module 11 in the form of a U-shaped frame part fastened to the outer wall 2.

The building 1 shown in section has on the floors 3 door openings 27 with threshold recesses 28. The partially cut-open left guide module 10 shows details of the counterweight 18. In a vertical rod cage, weight disks are arranged one above the other, the total weight of which together with the rod cage is, for example, half of the cabin weight with 1/4 payload. The guide modules 10 essentially have a partially structured and approximately square square cross-section. Parts of a shaft-side shaft information not shown in this figure are preferably attached to the horizontal cantilevers of the fastening modules 11 and analogously opposite on the cabin 5.

The lateral vertical parts of the support frame 6 are connected above the cabin 5 to a yoke part 23, which carries an approximately L-shaped base plate 24, which is connected to the yoke part 23 in a non-positive and positive manner, on both sides. The guide rollers 9, not shown here, are attached to the base plates 24. Furthermore, the suspension points for the support members 19 are still present on the base plates 24 close to the yoke part 26. The building 1 is closed per floor 3 with a shaft door 22 and the cabin 5 with a cabin door 21. The distance between the inner sides of the guide modules 10 is denoted by “d” and a guide axis parallel to the building 1 by 25. The support frame 6, or its construction plane designated 26, has a constant parallel distance "a" to the guide axis 25 and to the opposite vertical running surface of the guide modules 10. The width of the support frame 6 parallel to the guide axis 25 is greater than the distance "d" between the inner sides of the guide modules 10. 29 denotes elements of a shaft information which are arranged on the horizontal connecting struts of the fastening modules 11. The shaft information on the cabin side is designated by 30 and is preferably arranged on the cabin roof at a short distance from the shaft information 29.

The support frame 6 arranged in front of the guide modules 10, as seen from the building 1, reduces the overall width of the entire add-on elevator and thus also the need for building area 4. The drive and command control, not shown, is in and on the cabin 5, in particular in or next to the support frame 6 arranged so that in building 1 no additional space for a machine system and a control is needed. For the shaft door openings 27 to be created, on the outer wall 2 of the building 1, for example, the light openings present on the intermediate floors or floors 3 of a stairwell are suitable. Appropriate adaptation work enables the installation of outer wall shaft doors 22 at a reasonable cost, particularly because these are the only structural adjustments that are required for the installation of an elevator. When the shaft doors 22 are installed in the outer wall 2 of a building 1, the fastening modules 11 are also attached at the same time. Then building 1 is already ready for the installation of the elevator. This is fabricated, preassembled and wired to intermediate heights, or up to a height or length permissible for road transport, transported to the building 1 intended for cultivation, set up there and connected to the building 1 via the fastening modules 11. The transport of the finished add-on elevator is possible because the guide modules 10 connected together via a foundation module 12 and a shaft head module 13 form a rigid and self-supporting unit which can even be transported together with the built-in cabin 5. After it has been installed, the add-on elevator can be provided with any kind of protection, for example with glass, grilles or non-transparent full-wall elements, so that a shaft protects the technical equipment against the effects of the weather. The existing building character can be taken into account by appropriate architectural design of the defensive structure, so that the add-on lift does not negatively influence the appearance of building 1, but even sets new architectural accents.

The cabin 5 is equipped as a prefabricated assembly with all technical equipment and contains not only the complete drive but also its control and regulation. There are also command controls for call processing, callers, door control, as well as lighting and communication tools. Prefabricated installation units are provided for the floor equipment, which which contain floor call transmitters and display elements. The electrical shaft installation is preferably guided as a finished installation duct along the fastening modules 11 and fastened to them. For power supply and data exchange, for example, conductor lines and optoelectric systems are provided if the use of a hanging cable is not possible or is not desired.

However, the invention is also applicable to cabins without self-propulsion. In this case, the cabin can be moved via a rope which is led to the shaft head module 13 and a drive motor attached there.

The previously described shaft information 29 or its carrier can also be fastened directly to a guide module 10 independently of the fastening module 11. As a further variant or addition, the attachment of a code strip to the guide module 10 for optoelectronic scanning is also proposed.

The fastening modules 11 are designed to be horizontally telescopic in a further developed form. This provides the possibility of already connecting pre-assembled shaft doors 21 to the fastening modules 11 and, thanks to the telescopability, being pushed back to the guide modules 10 to the building site.

A normal wedge or roller catching device is used as the catching device, which acts on the guide module 10 at a point specially designed for this purpose.

Buffer devices, not shown, are arranged on the foundation module 12 for the cabin 5 and the counterweight 18 running in the guide module 10, adapted to the operational needs.

The adaptation to an existing building 1 is not limited to the fencing. Through colored, decorative and Constructional variants, in particular in cabin 1, further attractive effects can be achieved.

The add-on elevator according to the invention can also be set up on any suitable wall or in the stairwell of a conventional staircase.
