Definitions
- the present invention relates to the general fields of communication and paper; it concerns more particularly a new leaf-like medium of its kind paper or similar, intended to receive information or a marking by printing or reproduction.
- a document D2: DE-A 28 38 028 describes a process for feeding woven materials into machines sheet-by-sheet printing; this document only concerns woven materials.
- Our invention relates to a support paper-like or similar, the characteristics of which cannot be assimilated to woven materials.
- the present invention is that of a shaped support of sheet like paper or similar for printing or reproduction, consisting of a leaf provided with a multitude of regularly distributed perforations, which provides a part non-perforated integral constituting means allowing the support supported by the gripping systems printing or reproduction materials for obtaining one side transparent paper that can be used as a classic consumable by these so-called materials.
- the support according to the invention is in the form of a paper-like sheet or the like provided with a multitude regularly distributed perforations.
- This perforated sheet is intended to receive a visual in the form of an informative, decorative or marking document, by a conventional technique of reproduction (reprography) or printing (offset, serigraphy or other).
- this support constitutes a transparent paper on one side, capable of being fixed on a window for example.
- the front of this one-sided transparent paper is lit by light; the visual appears clearly and we forget the perforations.
- This impression of transparency is advantageously reinforced by providing a colored solid on the back (preferably black) which allows the absorption of light.
- Such a support makes it possible to obtain posters advertising, promotional posters, posters or sun visors for example, which filter the light and, thus, which no longer mask the clarity of the glass surfaces, side interior.
- the perforations of the sheet preferably have an area close to 0.8 mm 2 and they are advantageously distributed according to a density of the order of 20 to 30 per cm 2 , in the form of a regular weft.
- the support includes a non-perforated peripheral frame which helps strengthen its structure; this full frame avoids in particular any untimely tearing and any degradation accidental material.
- the sheet provided with per forat ion has a part not perforated on at least one of its edges.
- This part unperforated is adequately arranged and present dimensions such that it supports of the sheet using conventional vacuum means printing or reproduction material.
- These "suckers aspirantes” meet in particular on the feeders introduction of sheets for offset machines; they are used to remove the sheet that you want to print and transport it to the gripper sockets for allow printing.
- the perforated sheet of paper is associated with a second full sheet which comes to double it and which is applied to its back.
- the two sheets have substantially the same dimensions and they are joined together by at least one of their edges, and this by any suitable means such as a fold line or a collage by line or by points.
- This solid sheet is associated with the perforated sheet to facilitate or allow, in certain cases, depending on the technologies used, the marking of the visual on the front of the support. Once the visual is transferred by Printing or by reproduction, we remove the full sheet of liner to obtain transparent paper on one side.
- this doubling sheet allows the transfer of the support by suction through the perforations.
- screen printing it allows the support to be held on the suction table during printing and it also ensures the recovery of the ink likely to pass through the perforations.
- the full liner sheet makes it easier to pick up and slide the supports on top of each other at the feeder. It gives the support a smooth bottom surface without which one would not obtain good machine distribution. Note that for the two printing techniques (offset and screen printing), the excess ink not deposited at the location of the perforations tends to eliminate itself as the sheets pass; indeed, the perforations do not always appear exactly in the same place in the machine.
- this solid sheet protects the drum by recovering the inks which pass through the perforations and by fixing them on this sheet at the time of passage in cooking. In this way, the copiers are not fouled.
- the two overlapping sheets are joined together at one of their borders and they are connected or retained on the opposite border, so that they can slide over each other and move slightly one in relation to the other this characteristic ensures perfect winding of the two sheets on the drum color laser copiers for example.
- the link "slippery" can for example be obtained by a intersection of straight notches provided on one of the oblique sheets and notches provided on the second.
- the support 1 consists of a sheet 2 like paper or other similar "rigid" material.
- One of the faces of the sheet 2 (the front) is intended to be, processed by printing or by reproduction to apply any visual, informative, decorative or advertising type.
- This sheet of paper can have any format like 60x80, 40x60, 30x40 or 30x80, for example. Its grammage can be between 80 and 150g / m 2 ; it will preferably be greater than 100 g / m 2 for obtaining a transparent paper with one side of good quality.
- Sheet 2 is subject to processing vertical stamping by means of punch lines to form a multitude of perforations 3.
- the means of perforation are advantageously associated with a system precise management of the scrolling of the paper material.
- the punching operation confers properties particular rigidity and moisture resistance.
- each circular perforation is of the order of 0.8 to 1 mm 2 .
- These perforations are arranged in rows offset by half a step relative to each other to form a regular screen, as shown in Figure 2.
- the perforations 3 are distributed according to a density of between 20 and 30 per cm 2 and preferably of the order of 25 per cm 2 .
- the perforations 3 normally occupy about 1/4 of the surface of the paper.
- the front of sheet 2 preferably has a neutral coloring, white for example; she can also be tinted according to the desired visual. Its back is covered with a dark solid color, preferably black, which allows optimal absorption of light and which optimizes transparency on this side of the support.
- FIG. 3 shows a support 1 according to the invention capable of being used for offset printing.
- This support 1 consists of a sheet 2 provided with a perforation zone 5, shown diagrammatically by the barred frame, which perforated zone 5 is surrounded by a non-perforated frame 4.
- the frame 4 On one of its sides, the frame 4 has a width more important.
- the corresponding part 6, devoid of perforations, is located in the zone which corresponds to the place where the sheet is taken up by the suction means of the material transfer system.
- a perforated sheet of this type can be used as is for printing.
- the ink of the printing roller which does not deposit on the support, at the level of the perforations, eliminates itself during the passage of the following sheets because, because of the size of the spacings of the screen of perforations , the holes do not always appear in the same place in the machine.
- the support 1 may consist of a perforated sheet 2, of the same type as that shown in FIG. 1, associated with a solid sheet 7 serving as a lining and applied on its back.
- the doubling sheet 7 is secured to the perforated sheet 2 so that it can be easily removed after the transfer of the visual.
- the solid sheet 7 is shown slightly recessed under the perforated sheet 2. This representation has the sole purpose of clearly showing the structure of the support 1; in reality and during its use, the two sheets 2 and 7 are pressed one over the other over their entire surface so as to obtain two superimposed layers of material.
- the two sheets 2 and 7 have the same dimensions and they are joined together by at least one of their edges. According to a possible embodiment, they have an identical nature and the support 1 is obtained from a single paper sheet (grammage: 135 g / m 2 for example) folded in the middle. In this case, the securing means 8 of the two sheets 2 and 7 are located on only one of their edges and consist of a single fold line. Only part of the base sheet undergoes a perforation treatment and the affixing of a colored flat on its back. In another embodiment, the solid liner sheet 7 can also be attached and secured by lines or dots of glue on one or more edges of the perforated sheet 2. The liner 7 can then have a nature and in particular a different grammage from that of the perforated sheet 2.
- the perforated sheet-full sheet complex obtained can be used in offset printing equipment or by screen printing.
- screen printing doubling 7 allows you to recover the ink that would pass through perforations and it also maintains the support on the machine, during printing.
- the full sheet is also intended for allow the leaves to be transported by suction through perforations. In addition, it gives the support a smooth bottom surface which facilitates its sliding and its separation from the stored battery awaiting printing.
- FIGS. 5 a , 5 b and 6 provision has been made to secure the perforated sheet 2 and the backing sheet 7 on their insertion edge 9, and this by any suitable means of the fold line or gluing type, and connecting or retaining them on their opposite border 10, in such a way that the two sheets 2 and 7 can slide perfectly over one another.
- the two superimposed sheets are thus permanently pressed against each other but they retain a possibility of slight displacement relative to each other which absorbs the effects of curvature.
- FIG. 6 shows the position of the sheet complex on a roller 11 of the copier drum type. Note the slight displacement or offset 12 inherent in the curvature, at the sliding connection of the sheets.
- connection can be obtained by any suitable means and in particular, as shown in FIGS. 5 a and 5 b , by means of straight notches 13 on one of the sheets 2, associated with oblique notches 14 on the second sheet 7.
- the corresponding cutouts are engaged one inside the other and interlaced by suitable mechanical means, in the form of a cylinder provided with lugs for example.
- connection can also be obtained by folding back using a fold of the end of one of the two sheets on the second sheet across its width, or two sheets together, or simply by folding of their two opposite corners of the same width by a fold at 45 ° over a length of 10 to 20mm.
- the doubling sheet 7 provided on the support used in reprography makes it possible to recover the inks which pass through the perforations. These inks are fixed on the doubling at the time of passage in cooking and the copier thus does not undergo any fouling.
- the nature of the support, its structure and format are chosen according to the type of printing or reproduction that we want to use. In all cases, after transfer of the visual on the support, the latter can be applied to any glass surface to become visible from the outside while giving it a transparency, interior side, allowing to see outside.

Description
- la figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'un mode de réalisation possible du support papier selon l'invention, destiné à recevoir un marquage par impression ou par reproduction ;
- la figure 2 est une vue agrandie d'une portion de ce support ;
- la figure 3 est une vue en perspective d'une autre forme de réalisation possible du support ;
- la figure 4 montre un autre exemple de réalisation du support constitué d'une feuille perforée associée à une feuille pleine de doublage ;
- les figures 5a et 5b montrent les moyens de liaison "glissants" susceptibles d'être prévus pour relier l'un des côtés du doublage de feuilles ;
