Abstract

Bei einem kreiszylindrischen Filterschalldämpfer werden Dämpfungselemente (3) mit deren Dämpfungsflächen (11, 12) parallel zu der Zentralachse (13) des als Monoblock gegossenen Filterschalldämpfergehäuses (2) in Nuten (8) der Gehäusewände angeordnet. Die Dämpfungselemente (3) bestehen, aus einem Dämpfungsblech (9), dass ein Absorptionselement (10) ummantelt. Die Dämpfungsbleche (9) bilden mit den an ihnen angeordneten Grobfiltersegmenten (15) im montierten Zustand am Umfang des Filterschalldämpfers einen Grobfilterring aus, der von einem ringförmigen Filter (4) umgeben.
Die Vorteile der Erfindung bestehen neben der vereinfachten Herstellung und Montage der Bauteile, in der Reduktion unterschiedlicher Bauteile, und im geringeren Gewicht bei verbesserter Schalldämpfung.
