Abstract

The exterior roller shutter (11) is mounted on a roller (17) in a housing (1) fitted over the top edge of the window frame. One part of the housing extends over the inside of the window frame and holds a sunshade blind (12) inside the edge of the housing. This blind pulls down over the inside of the window. The internal blind is fitted into a sub-housing which clips into the main housing. This can be an extruded construction or a plastics foam construction, which seals to the top edge of the window frame. The sun blind can be a roller blind, a slatted shutter or a folding blind.
