Vorteilhafterweise entfällt ein Einfädeln des Endes der
Platte in eine innerhalb der Grube liegende Spindel, das

Vertiefung 14 in Umfangsrichtung des Zylinders 1
erweitert und an dessen übergang eine Biegekante 15
bildet. Am Ende des Schlitzes 7 ist eine parallel zu dem
Schlitz 7 verlaufende Bohrung 17 in dem Zylinder 1
angebracht. Der Schlitz 7 tangiert die Bohrung 17, so
daß die Bohrung 17 mit dem Schlitz 7 in Verbindung
steht.
In dieser Bohrung 17 ist ein Schwenkhebel 18, der im
vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel als eine Spindel 18 mit
einem Radius r18, z. B. r18 = 15 mm, ausgeführt ist,
schwenkbar zentrisch gelagert. Eine Mantelfläche 19 der
Spindel 18 weist über einen Winkel Beta, z.B. Beta =
80°, bezogen auf eine Längsachse 21 der Spindel 18 in
Umfangsrichtung verlaufende U-förmige Nuten 22 mit
reduziertem Radius r22, z. B. r22 = 14,5 mm, auf. In
axialer Richtung gesehen sind die Nuten 22 der Spindel
18 und die Vertiefung 14 des Schlitzes 7 des Zylinders 1
aufeinander angepaßt. Am Ende dieser U-förmigen Nuten 22
ist ein axial verlaufender, sich radial von der
Mantelfläche 19 in ein Inneres der Spindel 18
erstreckender Schlitz 23 eingebracht. In diesem Schlitz
23 sind Enden 24 von biegeelastischen, aber druck- und
zugsteifen Zungen 26 eingehängt, die im vorliegenden
Beispiel als Blattfedern, z. B. aus Federstahl,

U-förmigen Nuten 22 der Spindel 18 und passen sich im

ist mit einer in Richtung vorlaufendes Ende 3 der Platte
2 weisenden Abschrägung 28 versehen. In einem Abstand a

- Cylinder with a device for locking up plates (2) with bent ends (3; 4) on a cylinder (1) of a rotary printing machine, having a pivot lever (18) arranged in an interior part (5) of the cylinder (1), the cylinder (1) being provided with a narrow, axially running slit (7) for receiving the bent ends (3; 4) of the plate (2), characterized in that a number of tongues (26) are fastened to the pivot lever (18), in that the tongues (26) are arranged in the slit (7) to be movable from a beginning (10) of the slit (7) in the direction of the interior part (5) of the cylinder (1) and back, in that the tongues (26) are each provided with a barb (27) engaging in perforations (11) of at least one bent end (3; 4) of the plate (2).
- Cylinder according to Claim 1, characterized in that one lateral face (13) of the slit (7) is provided with a bending edge (15) and a spring-back space (16) which adjoins the bending edge (15) in the direction of the beginning (10) of the slit (7) and into which the barbs (27) of the tongue (26) are able to move back resiliently.
- Cylinder according to Claim 1, characterized in that one lateral face (13) of the slit (7) is provided with a number of recesses (14), in that the tongues (26) are arranged to be movable in the recesses (14) of the slit (7).
- Cylinder according to Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the recesses (14) of the slit (7) are arranged to widen in the direction of the lateral surface (6) and circumferential direction of the cylinder (1) and form a spring-back space (16).
- Cylinder according to Claim 1, characterized in that a cam (29) cooperating with one leg (8, 9) of one bent end (3; 4) is arranged on the tongue (26) at a distance a from the barb (27).
- Cylinder according to Claims 1, 3 and 5, characterized in that the tongue (26) consists of a flexurally elastic, tension-and compression-resistant material.
- Cylinder according to Claim 6, characterized in that the tongue (26) consists of spring steel.
- Cylinder according to Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the barbs (27) are provided with a sloping face (28) in the direction of the lateral surface (6) of the cylinder (1).
- Cylinder according to Claim 1, characterized in that the pivot lever (18) is designed as a spindle (18).
