Am Ende des Schlitzes 7 ist eine parallel zu dem Schlitz 7 verlaufende Bohrung 17 in dem Zylinder 1 angebracht. Der Schlitz 7 tangiert die Bohrung 17, so daß die Bohrung 17 mit dem Schlitz 7 in Verbindung steht.
In dieser Bohrung 17 ist ein Schwenkhebel 18, der im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel als eine Spindel 18 mit einem Radius r18, z. B. r18 = 15 mm, ausgeführt ist, schwenkbar zentrisch gelagert. Eine Mantelfläche 19 der Spindel 18 weist über einen Winkel Beta, z.B. Claims (9)

  1. Cylinder with a device for locking up plates (2) with bent ends (3; 4) on a cylinder (1) of a rotary printing machine, having a pivot lever (18) arranged in an interior part (5) of the cylinder (1), the cylinder (1) being provided with a narrow, axially running slit (7) for receiving the bent ends (3; 4) of the plate (2), characterized in that a number of tongues (26) are fastened to the pivot lever (18), in that the tongues (26) are arranged in the slit (7) to be movable from a beginning (10) of the slit (7) in the direction of the interior part (5) of the cylinder (1) and back, in that the tongues (26) are each provided with a barb (27) engaging in perforations (11) of at least one bent end (3; 4) of the plate (2).
