Claims (13)
- Schutzkappe zur Abdeckung elektrischer Anschlüsse eines Starters mit einer Öffnung (38) in einer Schutzkappenwandung, die dem Durchgriff des Feldanschlußbolzens (18) des Starterrelais (14) dient, so daß durch Aufschrauben einer Mutter (42) auf den Feldanschlußbolzen (18) die Schutzkappe (28) an dem Starter (10) befestigbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich an die Öffnung (38) ein in die Schutzkappe (28) integrierter Kanal (40) anschließt, der bei montierter Schutzkappe (28) das freie Ende des Feldanschlußbolzens (18) und die aufgeschraubte Mutter (42) einschließt.
- Schutzkappe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Kanal (40) im wesentlichen zylindrisch ausgebildet und nur in Richtung der Stirnseite des Feldanschlußbolzens (18) offen ist.
- Schutzkappe nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Kanal (40) eine auf den Feldanschlußbolzen (18) aufschraubbare Mutter (42), die vorzugsweise aus einem elektrisch isolierenden Kunststoff besteht, unverlierbar aufnimmt.
- Schutzkappe nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mutter (42) an ihrem einen Ende eine Gewindesackbohrung (46) und an ihrem anderen Ende ein Sechskant (48) aufweist.
- Schutzkappe nach Anspruch 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mutter (42) wenigstens eine radiale, umlaufende Einkerbung (54) aufweist, in die ein im Kanal (40) angeordnetes Rastmittel (56) eingreift, so daß die Mutter (42) unverlierbar in dem Kanal (40) angeordnet ist.
- Schutzkappe nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mutter (42) wenigstens zwei axial zueinander beabstandete radial nach außen vorstehende Bünde (50, 52) trägt, deren lichter Abstand wenigstens der Aufschraublänge der Mutter (42) entspricht.
- Schutzkappe nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Bünde (50, 52) zylindrische Außenflächen aufweisen, die in einer zylindrischen Innenfläche des Kanals (40) geführt werden.
- Schutzkappe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schutzkappe (28) hinsichtlich der - durch die Achse des Feld- und des Batterieanschlußbolzens (16, 18) aufgespannten Ebene im wesentlichen symmetrisch ausgebildet ist.
- Schutzkappe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Außenwandung der Schutzkappe (28) wenigstens eine Klemme (62) angebracht ist, die der Fixierung von elektrischen Leitungen, insbesondere elektrischer Steuerleitungen (26) dient.
- Schutzkappe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Außenwandung der Schutzkappe (28) ein Rastmechanismus (32) vorgesehen ist, der der Verrastung eines an einer anderen Fahrzeugkomponente, beispielsweise an dem Starter (10), fixierbaren Kabelbinders (30) dient.
- Starterrelais mit Schutzkappe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich die Schutzkappe (28) an der Stirnseite des Starterrelais (14), aus der der Feldanschlußbolzen (18) austritt, abstützt.
- Starterrelais mit Schutzkappe nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schutzkappe (28) den Batterieanschlußbolzen (16) im wesentlichen frei zugänglich läßt.
- Starterrelais mit Schutzkappe nach einem der Ansprüche 11 oder 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schutzkappe (28) wenigstens im Bereich einer Steuerklemme (20) eine zum Starterrelais (14) hin offene, im wesentlichen parallel zu der Achse des Feldanschlußbolzens (18) ausgerichtete Ausbuchtung (60) aufweist, die der Aufnahme von Steuerkabeln (26) innerhalb der Schutzkappe (28) dient.
