Erst beim Drücken der Drucktaste 84 beginnen die Abschluss-Schieber 70 auszufahren. Dabei gelangt die Druckluft vom einen Ventil 50a über die Anschlüsse a und b zum Ventil 52 (Fig. 6) und hernach zu den beiden Ausfahrzylindern 71. Das Ventil 52 ist ein Schnell-Entlüftungsventil, dessen Auslassöffnung vorerst jedoch geschlossen bleibt. Von der Zweigleitung 54 gelangt Druckluft von dem sich öffnende Rückschlagventil 51 zum Anschluss k des Steuerventiles 50c. Die Ausfahrzylinder 71 schieben nun den Abschluss-Schieber 70 mittels den Kolbenstangen 72 teleskopartig gegen die stationäre Wand 85. Dadurch wird der vertikale Spalt 86 geschlossen. Der in Fig. 1 dargestellte Zwischenraum 90 zwischen den Wandelementen 1 und 1' wird bereits zuvor beim Zusammenschieben der Wandelemente geschlossen. Sobald der Betätigungsknopf 92 des Steuerventiles 50c gegen die Wand 85 als Endanschlag anzuliegen kommt, bewirkt dies eine Umschaltung des Steuerventiles 50c, sodass die Anschlüsse k-i geöffnet werden und Druckluft über die Leitung 53 den beiden Huborganen 20, 20' zugeführt wird. Diese pressen die beiden Dichtleisten 8, 9 gegen die Laufschiene 2, bzw. den Boden 14 an. Sodann werden unter Überwindung der Kraft der Druckfeder 81 die beiden Hebel 79 gegeneinander gedrückt, sodass die Bremsschuhe 80 gegen die Achse 77 anliegen und die Position des ausgefahrenen Schiebers 70 dadurch arretiert wird.
