Claims (7)
- Wasserdichte elektrische Verbindungsvorrichtung mit einem Stecker oder etwas Gleichartigem, der dazu bestimmt ist, mit einer den Sockel einer Steckdose oder die bewegliche Steckeraufnahme einer Verlängerungs- oder Steckerschnur bildenden Steckeraufnahme verbunden zu werden, wobei die besagte Steckeraufnahme ein Gehäuse (1) aufweist, an dem ein in eine Ruhestellung herunterklappbarer Schutzdeckel (4) angelenkt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das besagte Gehäuse (1) an seinem vorderen Rand eine Ringnut (6) aufweist, die zur Aufnahme einer Ringdichtung (7) bestimmt ist, welche in axialer Richtung aus der besagten Nut herausragt, während der Deckel (4) und das Steckergehäuse (2) jeweils Auflageflächen besitzen, die dazu bestimmt sind, jeweils in der geschlossenen Stellung des Deckels und der angekoppelten Stellung des Steckers mit der Dichtung (7) in Kontakt zu kommen.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Auflageflächen des Deckels (4) und des Steckergehäuses (2) jeweils abgeschrägte Ringflächen (10, 11) sind.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ringnut (6) einen rechteckigen Querschnitt aufweist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ringnut (6), welche die Dichtung (7) aufnimmt, einen flachen Innenrand (8) besitzt, dem in der geschlossenen Stellung des besagten Deckels bzw. der angekoppelten Stellung des Steckers jeweils ein entsprechender Teil (12) des Deckels (4) oder des Steckergehäuses gegenüberliegt.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Außenwand der Ringnut (6) im Verhältnis zum flachen Innenrand (8) der besagten Nut (6) verlängert ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verlängerung (9) der Außenwand der Ringnut (6) sich außerdem über mindestens den Hauptteil ihres Umfangs von hinten nach vorne konisch erweitert, um es der Dichtung (7) zu ermöglichen, sich zu deformieren.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dichtung (7) einen im allgemeinen rechteckigen Querschnitt aufweist, der an seinem vorderen Ende abgeschrägt ist.
