Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Diagnose und/oder Therapie einer Person mit einer Betätigungs- und einer Stützeinrichtung, bei welcher die Betätigungs- und/oder die Stützeinrichtung an einem feststehenden Gestell um eine zur Aufstellfläche im wesentlichen parallele Hauptachse drehbar gelagert sind; die Betätigungseinrichtung zwei um die Hauptachse drehbare Schenkel umfaßt; Mittel zum Messen und Aufzeigen bzw. Dabei können von Elektromotoren angetriebene mechanische Bewegungsanordnungen dazu verwendet werden, Bewegungen des Patienten auch gegen dessen Widerstand zu verursachen. Weitere mechanische Anordnungen dienen der Positionierung des Bettes sowie der zuvor genannten mechanischen Bewegungsanordnungen. Dadurch kann das Bett in der Höhe verstellt und um eine transversale Achse verdreht werden. Die Bewegungsanordnungen ermöglichen u.a. Biege-Streck-Bewegungen der Ellbogen und der Kniee. Letztere Knie-Übungen kann der Patient auf dem Rücken oder auf dem Bauch liegend vornehmen. Erfindungsgemäß wird dies dadurch erreicht, daß bei der eingangs genannte gattungsgemäßen Vorrichtung die Schenkel längs der Hauptachse verschiebbar bzw. in ihrem Abstand einstellbar sind und an den Schenkeln jeweils wenigstens ein Betätigungsmotor und eine Führung für den Antrieb und die Führung eines Betätigungselementes vorgesehen sind. Der Betätigungsmotor kann dabei als Torquemotor und vorzugsweise als gepulster Gleichstrommotor ausgebildet sein. Ein solcher Motor gibt unabhängig von der gewählten Geschwindigkeit ein vorbestimmtes Drehmoment ab. Insbesondere vermag ein solcher Motor dieses Drehmoment auch im Stillstand aufzubringen und somit auch unter diesem Drehmoment anzulaufen. Dies ist bedeutsam, da von den Meßgeräten die von der Person während der Beugung oder Streckung eines Gelenkes aufgebrachte Kraft gemessen wird. Für den Mediziner ist dabei insbesondere die Reaktion der Versuchsperson unmittelbar nach Beginn der Bewegung bzw. nach einem Umkehrpunkt der gebeugten oder gestreckten Gelenke interessant. Es ist daher wichtig, daß gerade dieser Meßbereich nicht durch das Anlaufverhalten des Motors verfälscht wird. Ein Nebeneffekt dabei ist, daß auf diese Weise auch isometrische Messungen, d.h. Auch die Arm- 16, Kopf- 17 und Schulterstützen 18 werden an die Person angepaßt. Das Liege- und Sitzgestell 10 kann nun zusammen mit der Betätigungseinrichtung 3 oder unabhängig von dieser um die Hauptachse 4 um einen Winkel bis zu etwa 110° geschwenkt werden. Die Person kann nun das Beintraining absolvieren, wobei sie versucht, gegen die motorisch bewegten Betätigungselemente 8 einen Widerstand auszuüben. Durch das Schwenken des Liege- und Sitzgestelles 10 kann der Einfluß des Eigengewichtes der Person teilweise oder völlig ausgeschaltet werden. Zweckmäßigerweise werden die beiden Schenkel 6 der Betätigungseinrichtung 3 in axialer Richtung bis zu einem relativ geringen Abstand 9 zueinandergefahren, der sich aus dem Körperbau der Person ergibt.
