Definitions

  • the subject of the present invention is a device for closing and opening a package comprising a bag having a bag head of which the edges are joined to each other.
  • Such sachets or pouches are produced in continuous from a film according to the so-called process "flowpack", then put in box using a cartoner.
  • the European Patent EP-A-167 064 (NESTLE) has for object a reclosing type package comprising a outer envelope with a flap and a bag having a sachet head whose base is folded and pinched by the flap which is folded down for closing.
  • the opening of the bag takes place either by cutting the upper part of the head of the bag, either by tearing it using an organ tearing such as a wire or a strip.
  • British Patent GB-A-2,032,393 (TOPPAN PRINTING Co.) has for object a box lined with a bag which is not sealed at both ends and which is formed of a band folded back on itself and welded longitudinally, this welding being carried out between a internal face and an external face.
  • the opening of packaging is by tearing along the lines of precut which delimit the flap and the portion of the bag that doubles the flap.
  • the box is thus opened for clear a central region, the bag remaining held in the box by the remaining part of the upper panel of the box, on both sides of the flap. It is in practice necessary to make the bag of a material having a preferential direction of tearing, for lack of what we are dependent on the inherent defects of the character "spinning" usual materials.
  • the subject of the present invention is a device to ensure without deterioration the opening of a sachet having a sachet head whose internal edges are joined together and which does not requires neither manual cutting operation, nor setting work with specific pre-cutting means a tear in the bag.
  • the device allows in addition to ensuring at least partial reclosing of this one.
  • at least partial reclosure we mean a package closure which may not be strictly waterproof, but which nevertheless allows product storage for a period corresponding to the consumption of contents of the sachet.
  • a sachet has a sachet head having a first and a second edge secured to each other by their face internal with a first joining force the device comprises a first element having a first region secured to the external face of the first edge with a second joining force, and a second element having a second region secured to the outer face of the second edge with a third force of solidarity, and in that the second and third joining forces are greater than the first joining force.
  • joining force we mean in the sense of present request, the maximum force with which two edges, or an edge and an element, adhere to each other, force it takes to go beyond to get a separation of the edges, or of the edge and the element corresponding.
  • the first element can advantageously have a flap that extends and extends beyond of the bag head, said cooperating flap, in position closing, with the second element, for example by bonding, and / or by introduction of one end of the flap in a slot of the second element, the flap being folded around the head of the bag.
  • the first and / or second elements are advantageously respectively a cover and / or a front face of the box containing the sachet.
  • the bag is secured to the box that contains it only at the level of the bag head. This produces a rise in the bag when opening the box, which facilitates the gripping of products.
  • the front face of the box can include a front edge folded towards the cover of the box, and which is covered by it in said position of closing.
  • the bag head may have at its longitudinal ends of the inside edges or "tricks”.
  • the invention implements a sachet head, the edges of which are joined together with said first joining force by any known technique.
  • the faces sides of the box have a first and a second folded side edges which are covered by the cover of the box in said position of closure, which allows in particular to fold the inside edges of the package.
  • the bag head can be cold sealed.
  • the bag head can advantageously have at least one, and preferably two, weld lines for example heat seal. This provides a force of low joining while ensuring sealing from the sachet. Alternatively, the bag head has peelable streaks.
  • the bag head solder is a heat seal continuous surface of peelable type, for example of rectangular outline, and without streaks.
  • She advantageously has an opening force of the order 1N for a length of the order of 200 mm for example from 150 to 300 mm.
  • the sachet can advantageously include a longitudinal closure strip extending over the height of the bag and having a junction zone with one edge of the bag head.
  • the bag head may have, preferably in said junction zone, a portion located in which the internal faces of the first and of the second edge are more weakly secured one to each other so as to form a primer of decoupling.
  • the junction area is preferably arranged on the second edge of the bag head.
  • the first region of the first element presents advantageously an area located opposite the area junction.
  • the first region of the first element may have a surface smaller than that of the second region of the second element, and / or the first region of the first element can have a length, taken in the longitudinal direction of the head of the sachet, which is less than that of the second item.
  • the process comprises, during step a, a heat seal of the inner face of the first and second edges, said heat sealing being carried out in such a way that the area junction presents a localized region in which the inner faces of the first and second edges are more weakly united to each other so as to form a starting point for separation.
  • the sachet head has a heat seal surface of the peelable type and without streaks.
  • it can be carried out between 100 ° C and 180 ° C and especially between 125 ° C and 140 ° C, especially for a sack made of lacquered polypropylene, for example thick standard 26 ⁇ .
  • the bag head and the thermoweld jaws are preferably animated of a movement at reduced speed with respect to said movement speed, said movement possibly comprising a neutral point or a quasi-neutral point.
  • a soldering installation 52 comprises soldering irons 61 and 62 which may, for example, be heat-sealing irons, the various packages or bags 10 being separated by a cutting device 63 located between the irons 61 and 62.
  • the iron 61 makes it possible to make one or more heat-seal lines 20 (see FIG.
  • the heat-seal lines 20 arranged in the longitudinal direction of the bag head 17 make it possible to seal the latter while allowing its opening without tearing as will be shown later in the description.
  • the iron 62 which is used to heat seal the bottom of the bag 16 may conventionally include ridges arranged in the height direction of the packet, that is to say perpendicular to the longitudinal lines 20, so as to produce a heat seal classic.
  • the head of the bag 17 may also have ridges arranged in the height direction of the package, like those of the bottom of the bag 16, but in this case, it is preferable to bring the iron 61 to a lower temperature. to that which would be necessary to produce a true heat seal, so that the adhesion between the internal faces 46 and 47 of the edges 31 and 32 of the head 17 of the bag is relatively weak and that these can be easily separated without tearing of the head of the bag 17.
  • the material must be effectively brought to a temperature between 140 ° C and 150 ° C, which corresponds to a temperature of the heat seal irons which is from 180 ° C to 200 ° C, while if the material is only brought to a temperature between 80 ° C and 140 ° C, we obtain a less good adhesion characterized by its peelability, but which although not strictly watertight ("flesh on flesh” or "fine seal” type welding), ensures good preservation of the products.
  • a bag 10 contains two rows 41 and 42 superimposed of rusks, the front 11a and rear 11b faces of the package 10 connecting to the head of the bag 17 by a rounded region 15.

  • the front side of the bag 10 has a weld over its entire height longitudinal 67, carried out flat, or in a fold of matter.
  • the solder 67 is connected at 68 to the lines heat-sealed 20, these lines 20 preferably being performed at a temperature such that, due to the extra thickness, adhesion is weaker in 68 than in the rest of lines 20, so as to produce a primer separation by facilitating the opening of the sachet 10.
  • Figure 3 shows a cartoner 70 flat in which the sachets 10 are introduced with a view to their casing in a cardboard box 1.
  • the cartoner 70 allows to close the bottom 4 of the box beforehand unfolded from a flattened box, while maintaining aligned with the rear face 9, the upper edge or cover 5 which is hinged at 38 to the rear face 9 and in 39 to a tongue 6, intended to be introduced, by example by a narrower end 7 in a slot 8, and keeping aligned with the front panel 2, a extension 18 articulated at 44 on the front face 2.
  • the extension 18 forms a folding front edge.
