Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein mit einem Türfeststeller baulich vereinigtes Türscharnier für Kraftwagentüren, welcher die Merkmale des Oberbegriffes des Anspruchs 1 aufweist. Im modernen Fahrzeugbau werden die Türen bereits an der Rohkarosserie in einer endgültigen Ausrichtung zumindest vorläufig befestigt und dann zusammen mit der Rokarosserie lackiert. Nach der gemeinsamen Lackierung von Karosserie und Türen müssen die Türen im Interesse einer rationellen Arbeitsweise einerseits beim Einbringen der Innenausstattung der Karosserie, z.B. Sitze, Dachhimmel, Armaturenbrett, Pedalerie und dergl. mehr, und andererseits beim Aufgarnieren der Türen selbst, d.h. beim Einbau von Ausstattungsteilen, wie Fensterheber, Türschloß und Innenverkleidung, wieder von der Karosserie getrennt werden, um dann nach vollendeter Ausstattung von Türen und Karosserie erneut und in der ursprünglich eingerichteten Lage wieder an die Fahrzeugkarosserie angeschlossen zu werden. Zu diesem Zweck ist bereits eine Vielzahl von Ausgestaltungen für trennbare Türscharniere bekannt geworden, wobei eine erste Ausgestaltung solcher trennbarer Türscharniere dadurch charakerisiert ist, daß die beiden Scharnierflügel eines Scharnieres mit dem ihnen zugeordneten Türanordnungsteil, Tür oder Türsäule jeweils bleibend verbunden werden und das Türscharnier durch Abheben der einen Scharnierhälfte vom Scharnierstift getrennt wird. Solche Ausgestaltungen sind aber für ein mit einem Türfeststeller baulich vereinigtes Türscharnier nicht verwendbar. Bei einer anderen Ausgestaltung für trennbare Türscharniere ist vorgesehen, daß das Türscharnier als solches nicht trennbar und lediglich die eine Scharnierhälfte am einen Türanordnungsteil, meist der Türsäule, durch Vermittlung eines Zwischenteiles oder Befestigungselementes lösbar befestigt ist, in der Weise, daß das Zwischenteil oder Befestigungselement bereits an der Rohkarosserie in einer ausgerichteten Lage bleibend an der Türsäule festgelegt und der zugehörige Scharnierflügel lösbar, insbesondere mittels Schraubenbolzen, mit dem Zwischenteil oder Befestigungselement verbindbar ist. Für solche Ausgestaltungen trennbarer Türscharniere ist es, vor allem für mit einem Türfeststeller ausgestattete Türscharniere, auch bereits bekannt, am Zwischenteil oder Befestigungselement eine quer zur Scharnierachse gerichtete Ausladung vorzusehen, die mit einer Aufnahmebohrung für einen die Scharnierhöhe überragenden Längenabschnitt des Scharnierstiftes versehen ist. Bei solcherart gestalteten und mit einem Drehstabtürfeststeller ausgestatten trennbaren Türscharnieren ergeben sich zum einen hinsichtlich der Montage und zum anderen hinsichtlich der sicheren Abstützung der aus dem Türfeststeller resultierenden Kräfte dann gewisse Probleme, wenn der die Rasteinrichtung des Türfeststellers tragende Sdharnierflügel aus einem entsprechend gefalteten Blechmaterialzuschnitt gebildet und zugleich auch der lösbar mit dem Zwischenteil oder Befestigungselement zu verbindende Scharnierflügel ist.In modern vehicle construction, the doors are already attached to the body shell in a final orientation, at least temporarily, and then painted together with the Roco body. Befestigungselementes als das Wiedereinsetzen der Türe auskommt und die zugleich auch eine sichere Aufnahme der aus dem Betrieb des Türfeststellers resultierenden Kräfte in der Scharnierbefestigung gewährleistet. Darüberhinaus soll die aus Türscharnier, Türfeststeller, Zwischenteil bzw. Diese Ausbildung eines Scharnieres und insbesondere seiner lösbaren Befestigung zeichnet sich in hervorragender Weise dadurch aus, daß die aus dem Betrieb des Türfeststellers resultierenden und stoßartig auftretenden Kräfte weitgehend unmittelbar durch das Zwischenteil aufgenommen werden, mit der Folge, daß zum einen der aus einem Blechmaterial bestehende Scharnierflügel und zum anderen insbesondere dessen Befestigung bzw. Befestigungsmittel weitgehendst von diesen stoßartig und mit hohen Kraftspitzen auftretenden Kräften entlastetet sind. Abgesehen, davon daß hierdurch auch der die Rasteinrichtung für den Türfeststeller tragende Scharnierflügel leichter ausgebildet werden kann, kann ein einziges als Schraubenbolzen ausgeführtes Befestigungsmittel verwendet werden, um einerseits den Scharnierflügel am Zwischenteil bzw. Befestigungselement und andererseits dieses zusammen mit dem Scharnierflügel endgültig an der Türsäule festzulegen. In einer bevorzugten Gestaltungsform ist dann ferner vorgesehen, daß sich der Fortsatz der den anderen Scharnierflügel über-oder untergreifenden Ausladung des Zwischenteiles etwa in Richtung der Winkelhalbierenden des maximal zugelassenen Öffnungswinkels der Türe erstreckt und mit einem Abstand sowohl zur Scharnierachse als auch zu dem das zweite Befestigungsmittel des Zwischenteiles bildenden Schraubenbolzen an der die Rasteinrichtung für das Brems-und Halteglied des Türfeststellers tragenden Querwandung des anderen Scharnierflügels angreift.
Je nach Auslegung des Türfeststellers kann natürgemäß auch eine hiervon abweichende Ausrichtung der den anderen Scharnierflügel über oder untergreifenden Ausladung des Zwischenteiles vorgesehen sein, beispielsweise derart, daß der Fortsatz der den anderen Scharnierflügel über-oder untergreifenden Ausladung des Zwischenteiles in Öffnungsrichtung gesehen dessen Anlagefläche gegenüber in einem größeren Winkel als der Winkelhalbierenden des maximal zugelassenen Öffnungswinkels der Türe ausgerichtet ist.

Das in der Zeichnung dargestellte, mit einem Türfeststeller baulich vereinigte Türscharnier für Kraftwagentüren, besteht aus zwei vermittels eines Scharnierstiftes 1 schwenkbar miteinander verbundenen Scharnierflügeln 2 und 3, deren einer 2 bleibend an dem in der zeichnung nicht gezeigten Türkörper und deren anderer 3 lösbar an der in der Zeichnung gleichfalls nicht gezeigten Türsäule befestigt ist und einem Drehstabtürfeststeller 4. Die aus zwei Rollen 5 und 6 sowie einem Endanschlag 7 bestehende Rasteinrichtung für das durch den freien Belastungsarm 8 einer am einen Scharnierflügel 2 in herkömmlicher Weise festgelegten S-förmigen Drehstabfeder 9 gebildete Brems-und Halteglied des Türfeststellers 4 ist an einer quer zur Scharnierachse 1 aus ladenden Querwandung des anderen Scharnierflügels 3 angeordnet. Der andere Scharnierflügel 3 ist insgesamt durch ein entsprechend gefaltetes Blechpressteil gebildet und vermittels eines über ein erstes Befestigungsmittel 10 in vorausgerichteter und teilgesicherter Lage bleibend an der Türsäule festgelegtes, mit einer parallel zur Scharnierachse ausgerichteten Anlagefläche 11 für den Scharnierflügel 3 versehenes Zwischenteil 12 und ein zweites durch einen Schraubenbolzen 13 Befestigungsmittel an der Türsäule befestigbar. Das Zwischenteil 12 weist eine quer zur Scharnierachse 1 gerichtete Ausladung 14 auf, welche in einem spitzen Winkel zur Ebene der Anlagefläche 11 ausgerichtet ist und den Scharnierstift 1 übergreifend angeordnet ist. Die den Scharnierstift 1 übergreifende Ausladung 14 des Zwischenteiles 12 weist einen Fortsatz 15 auf, welcher an der Querwandung 16 des anderen Scharnierflügels 3 anliegend eine zusätzliche Abstützung für die aus dem Betrieb des Türfeststellers 4 resultierenden Kräfte bildet. Das Zwischenteil 12 ist als einteiligens Formteil ausgebildet und weist in der Draufsicht eine etwa V-förmige Grundrißform auf, wobei die eine Hälfte dieser Grundrißform durch seine Anlagefläche 11 und die andere Hälfte dieser Grundrißform durch die Ausladung 14 und deren Verlängerung 15 gebildet ist. Ferner weist die Ausladung 14 des Zwischenteiles 12 über ihre Länge hin eine von ihrer Wurzel zu ihrem freien Ende hin abnehmende Materialstärke auf. In der Ausladung 14 des Zwischenteiles 12 ist dessen Anlagefläche 11 benachbart eine der Aufnahmebohrung 17 für einen die andere Scharnierhälfte 3 überragenden Endbereich 18 des Scharnierstiftes 1 vorgesehen. Mit der Querwandung 16 des anderen Scharnierflü gels 3 steht die Verlängerung 15 der Ausladung 14 vermittels eines achsparallel zur Scharnierachse 1 ausgerichteten Bolzens oder Zapfens 19 formschlüssig im Eingriff. Bei im Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellten Gestaltungsform ist dabei vorgesehen, daß die Ausladung 14/15 des Zwischenteiles 12 über den Zapfen oder Bolzen 19 in einer zwischen der zweiten Raste 6 und dem Öffnungenanschlag 7 der Rasteinrichtung des Türfesstellers liegenden Ausrichtung an der Querwandung 16 der anderen Scharnierhälfte 3 angreift.
Die Durchgangsbohrungen 20 und 21 für das erste 10 und das zweite Befestigungsmittel 13 in dem die Anlagefläche 11 bildenen Teil des Zwischenteiles 12 sind jeweils als quer zur Scharnierachse 1 ausgerichtete Langlochbohrung ausgebildet und weist wenigstens die dem zweiten Befestigungsmittel 13 zugeordnete Durchgangsbohrung 21 dessen Durchmesser gegenüber ein Übermaß auf. Ferner ist die dem ersten Befestigungsmittel 10 zugeordnete Durchgangbohrung 20 ausserhalb deren Überdeckungsbereich mit der anderen Scharnierhälfte 3 in der Anlagefläche 11 des Zwischenteiles 12 angeordnet.

The intermediate part 12 has a projection 14 directed transversely to the hinge axis 1, which is oriented at an acute angle to the plane of the contact surface 11 and is arranged to overlap the hinge pin 1. The overhang 14 of the intermediate part 12, which overlaps the hinge pin 1, has an extension 15, which forms an additional support for the forces resulting from the operation of the door arrester 4 when it bears against the transverse wall 16 of the other hinge leaf 3. The intermediate part 12 is designed as a one-piece molded part and has an approximately V-shaped plan view in plan view, one half of this plan form being formed by its contact surface 11 and the other half of this plan form being formed by the projection 14 and its extension 15. Furthermore, the projection 14 of the intermediate part 12 has a material thickness that decreases from its root to its free end over its length. In the projection 14 of the intermediate part 12, its contact surface 11 is provided adjacent to the receiving bore 17 for an end region 18 of the hinge pin 1 which projects beyond the other hinge half 3. Furthermore, the through hole 20 assigned to the first fastening means 10 is arranged outside its overlap area with the other hinge half 3 in the contact surface 11 of the intermediate part 12.

Claims (11)

  1. A door hinge for motor vehicle doors and structurally combined with a door stay comprising a torsion bar spring (9) and a catch device, said hinge consisting of two hinge plates (2,3) connected pivotally to each other by means of a hinge pin (1) defining a hinge axis, one of said hinge plates being capable of being fixed permanently on the door carcase while the other has an intermediate part (12) which can be separably fixed to the door pillar, the said catch device comprising catch marks (5-7) for a door stay braking and retaining element disposed on a free loading arm (8) of the C- or S-shaped torsion bar spring (9) fixed in conventional manner on a hinge plate (2), the said catch marks (5-7) being disposed or constructed on a transverse wall ofthe other hinge plate (3) extending crosswise to or opposite the hinge axis, the other hinge plate (3) being formed as a whole by a correspondingly bent sheet metal pressing and being capable of being fixed on the door pillar by means of the intermediate part (12) which can be mounted permanently on the door pillar in a prealigned and partly secured position by a first fixing means (10) and provided with, orientated parallel with the hinge axis, a bearing surface (11) for the other hinge plate (3), whereby the intermediate part (12) at the same time receives an extension piece (14) which engages either over or under the hinge pin (1) of the door hinge, and also one end (18) of the hinge pin, whereby the other hinge plate (3), by means ofthe second fixing means (13) formed by a screw-bolt, establishes the connection of the hinge plate (3) to the intermediate part (12), characterised in that the second fixing means (13) additionally makes the common fixing of intermediate part (12) and hinge plate (3) on the door pillar and permits the separable mounting of the other hinge plate (3) on the door pillar, and in that in connection therewith the extension piece (14 of the intermediate part (12) which engages over or under the hinge pin (1) has an extension (15) which, engaging on that transverse wall of the other hinge plate which carries the catch marks (5, 6, 7) for the door stay (7), or the transverse wall opposite to it, forms an additional bracing means for the forces resulting from operation of the door stay (4).
  2. A door hinge according to claim 1, characterised in that the extension (15) of the extension piece (14) of the intermediate part (12) which engages over or under the other hinge plate (3) extends substantially in the direction of the bisector of the maximum acceptable angle of opening of the door and at a distance both from the hinge axis (1) and also from the screw bolt (15) constituting the second fixing means of the intermediate part (12) on which that transverse wall of the other hinge plate (3) which carries the catch device for the braking and retaining element of the door stay (4), or that transverse wall opposite to it engages.
  3. A door hinge according to claim 1, characterised in that the extension (15) of the extension piece (14) of the intermediate part (12) and which engages above or below the other hinge plate (3) is, when viewed in the direction of opening, opposite the bearing surface (11) on it and is orientated at a greater angle than the bisector of the maximum admissible angle of opening of the door.
  4. A door hinge according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the intermediate part (12) is constructed as a one-piece or built-up shaped part and has in plan view a substantially V-shaped outline, one half of this basic form being constituted by its bearing surface (11) on the door pillar and the other half of this basic form being formed by the extension piece (14) engaging above or below the hinge pin and its extension (15) which braces the transverse wall (16) or the transverse wall opposite thereto, on the other hinge plate (3).
  5. A door hinge according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the extension piece on the intermediate part (12) adjacent the bearing surface (11) thereof comprises a bore (17) associated with the seating of an end portion (198) ofthe hinge pin (1) which projects beyond the other hinge path (3) and, by means of a bolt or journal (19) disposed in the region of its free end and orientated axially parallel with the hinge axis (1) form-lockingly and for additional bracing effect engages the transverse wall carrying the catch device of the door stay or the transverse wall opposite to it and on the other hinge half(3).
  6. A door hinge according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the extension piece (14) ofthe intermediate part (12) engages a transverse wall (16) of the other hinge plate (3) which is opposite the transverse wall which carries the catch device for the door stay (4) via a journal or bolt (19) axially parallel with the hinge axis (1) and disposed in its end portion.
  7. A door hinge according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the thickness ofthe material ofthe extension piece (14) on the intermediate part (12) diminishes over its length from its root and in the direction of its free end.
  8. A door hinge according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the extension piece (14) of the intermediate part (12) engages the transverse wall (16) of the other hinge half (3) or the transverse wall opposite thereto, via the journal or bolt (19) disposed at its free end, in an alignment between the second catch (6) and the opening abutment (7) of the catch device of the door stay (4).
  9. A door hinge according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the through bores (20, 21) for the first (10) and the second fixing means (13) are constructed in that part ofthe intermediate part (12) which forms the bearing surface (11) and in each case as an elongated bore orientated crosswise to the hinge axis, at least the through bore (20) associated with the second fixing means (13) having a diameter which is oversized in respect of said fixing means (13).
  10. A door hinge according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the through bore (20) associated with the first fixing means (10) and disposed in the bearing surface (11) of the intermediate part (12) is disposed outside its area of overlap with the other hinge half (3).
  11. A door hinge according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the second fixing means constituted by a screw bolt (13) forms the only fixing means for the other hinge plate (3) which is directed crosswise to the hinge axis (1) and is constructed to extend through the hinge plate (3), the intermediate part (12) and the door pillar, whereby a round bore in the other hinge half(3) and an elongated bore in the intermediate part (12) are associated with the second fixing means (13).
